Crime › Muslim Family Murdered Teenage Girl For Hanging Out After School by BetterHeadline(op): 2:56pm On Jun 02, 2022 |
The Religion of PeaceA 46-year-old woman and two young men are in custody as suspects in the murder of a family member in the Stockholm municipality of Nacka. The suspects are Ethiopian citizens , and the police suspect they were involved in an honor killing.
According to previous media reports, the suspects are family members of a deceased teenage girl found dead in her home in Nacka on Thursday. Family members told police that the girl had taken her own life, but police quickly became suspicious and arrested three family members on suspicion of murder.
Reports show the police suspected the family had arranged the suicide to hide a murder after the stories of the family members failed to add up, Swedish news outlet Nyheter Idag reports.
The suspects provided differing statements to the police, and also attempted to hide the victim’s mobile phone and objects used in the alleged suicide.
Police suspect that the motive in the alleged murder was that the girl was hanging out with friends after school, which upset other members of the family. The victim’s school expressed concern for the girl, which was reinforced by the fact that she was reported sick on Thursday.
A forensic pathologist has also found that the girl’s injuries do not correspond with injuries sustained in a suicide.
Honor killings and other honor-related crimes have plagued Sweden in recent years due to mass immigration from “honor societies.” In an example of the violence displayed in some such cases, an Afghan man and his two sons stabbed another man 90 times to “ preserve honor .”
In September 2019, the Swedish Police Authority began specifically tracking honor-related crimes, and by November 2021, 4,500 suspected honor-related crimes had been registered in the country’s database.
Honor-related crimes are characterized as organized, and often involve more than one family member. They are not limited to honor killings either, but also include forced marriages, rape, kidnapping, assault, extortion, forced suicides, and torture. |

Crime › Pedophilia Pandemic In Islamic Utopia: Over 700,000 Child Brides Per Year by BetterHeadline(op): 4:01pm On May 31, 2022 |
The Religion of PeaceSahih Muslim, Book 008, Number 3311: Aisha reported that allah's apostle married her when she was six years old, and she was taken to his house as a bride when she was nine, and her dolls were with her; and when he died, she was eighteen years old. A section of rights organisations have raised concerns over failure by family laws in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) to protect women and girls.
Millions of women and girls across the region have no security and safety that a family can bring. This has been blamed on discriminatory family laws.
The absence of a unified secular family code in most MENA countries deepens the discrimination against women. Domestic violence in the region is one of the highest worldwide, with 34.5 per cent of its married women having experienced intimate partner violence.
These numbers record the highest in Egypt, where it is estimated that 86 per cent of married women face spousal abuse and almost half of young women have faced physical violence from their brothers and fathers.
Loopholes in laws and patchy implementation result in 700,000 child brides in MENA every year.
One in five girls is married before the age of 18 and one in every 25 is married before the age of 15. The prevalence of child marriage varies from country to country depending on social norms and economic situations. The highest percentage is in Yemen (32 per cent), followed by Iraq 24 and Egypt 17 per cent.
Child marriage has increased significantly among Syrian refugees, reaching almost 50 per cent in Turkey, Lebanon (40 per cent) and Jordan at 32 per cent.
Equality Now, an organisation fighting for a just world for women and girls since 1992, in a statement, said lack of laws and proper implementation has put millions of child brides at risk of pregnancy and childbirth complications, which is considered the number one killer of girls aged between 15 and 19.
“When married as children, girls are more subject to physical and sexual violence. They are deprived of their right to education, health, safety, and participation in decision-making,” Equality Now says. |
Crime › 80 Year Old Man Beheaded Over Allegation Of Blasphemy by BetterHeadline(op): 3:32pm On May 31, 2022 |
The Religion of PeaceIn yet another horrific incident of violence over blasphemy allegations, an 80-year-old man has been beheaded for allegedly desecrating the flag of a religious organisation in Sargodha.
According to reports, Muhammad Sharif, who ran a tyre puncture workshop near Dharima Bus Stand on Sargodha’s Khushab Road for over 40 years, was beheaded by a 20-year-old, claiming the former had committed blasphemy.
“The youth started raising slogans after beheading Chacha Sharif,” eyewitnesses said, adding that the murderer claimed to have seen Sharif disrespecting some pamphlets, including the flag of a religious organisation bearing holy inscriptions.
The youth’s claims were, however, rubbished by locals who said the 20-year-old attacked Sharif over a payment dispute. They also claimed that the youth had “earlier been arrested for extremist activities as well”.
While police have arrested the 20-year-old and recovered the murder weapon, the killing has sparked outrage on Twitter.
“Religious extremism has become so common in our society that people settle their personal scores under the guise of blasphemy,” journalist Bilal Farooqi said while condemning the misuse of the blasphemy laws.
Journalist Sabookh Syed slammed mainstream media for skipping the news story altogether. “In Sargodha, a 20-year-old man beheaded an 80-year-old labourer in broad daylight on charges of blasphemy, but the media is completely silent,” he tweeted.
Blasphemy is a sensitive subject in Pakistan where laws prescribe a mandatory death penalty for the guilty. Mere blasphemy allegations often provoke mob violence and lynching of suspects while those who make false accusations of blasphemy are sent home with a slap on the wrist.
According to the Centre for Social Justice (CSJ), at least 1,949 blasphemy accused were subjected to false allegations, prolonged trials and displacement between 1985 and December 2021.
It adds that at least 84 people were killed after being suspected or accused under the said laws since their promulgation as part of former military ruler Ziaul Haq’s Islamisation during the 1980s.
Mobs have lynched two people and injured two others in four cities of Pakistan between December 2021 and March 2022.
Sri Lankan national Priyantha Kumara , 48, was accused of committing blasphemy at the factory he managed in Sialkot and was beaten to death by a mob last December whereas a mentally challenged person, Mushtaq Ahmad , was in February this year stoned to death by an enraged mod after the son of a local cleric accused him of burning pages of the Holy Quran in Khanewal.
The continuous rise in incidents of violence over unproven blasphemy allegations has time and again prompted Ulemas to vociferously condemn such practices and declare the killing of any person under such circumstances as un-Islamic.
The courts have the authority to punish the perpetrator of blasphemy and taking the law into one’s hands is not permissible according to both Sharia and law of the land, they say. |
Crime › Family Burns Girl With Hot Iron For Refusing To Wear Hijab by BetterHeadline(op): 4:23pm On May 27, 2022 |
The Religion of PeaceGirl Burned With An Iron Because She Did Not Wear A Veil She was abused in her parents’ home for months, maybe even years: Her mother allegedly even burned her with an iron, her brother not only beat her but even went so far as to hit her with a bottle. An affair that has now led to a sentence of three years for the elder brother and four months for the mother: The sister-in-law also stood trial, but was acquitted.
This was the verdict of the court of Brescia (Italy) in a trial for ill-treatment and assault initiated following the complaint (2019) of a young girl of Pakistani origin, who was only 15 years old at the time.
The girl, who was harassed by her Islamic relatives, reportedly ran away from home several times until she reported the incidents. She was later placed in a sheltered community and even attempted to take her own life in the family home. According to the public prosecutor’s office, represented by prosecutor Donato Greco, the abuse continued for months.
However, this was always denied by the family members, although the judges eventually acknowledged they were guilty. |
Crime › Family Rape And Force Girl To Embrace Islam by BetterHeadline(op): 4:14pm On May 27, 2022 |
The Religion of PeaceNew Delhi: Hindu woman raped for eight months, fed beef, forced to embrace Islam Despite the existence of stringent laws, grooming jihad cases continue to emerge from various parts of the country. In one such recent case, a Hindu woman from Delhi was abused, physically assaulted, and forced to convert to Islam after refusing to marry the accused, Saif Ansari.
According to the reports, the Hindu lady was locked for more than 8 months in the Paharganj area of Delhi, Gurugram, and Rohitas, Bihar and was gang-raped several times by the accused, his father, and other male relatives. The accused also recorded video every time the victim was assaulted and used it to blackmail her into converting to Islam.
The incident dates back to 2021 when accused Ansari approached a 26-year-old Hindu woman at the Gurugram metro station. The woman who was employed in a private company used to travel from Delhi to Gurrugram daily for her job. Ansari, however, was employed on a timing counter at the nearby bus station. He used to see the woman travel every day and had been keeping a keen watch on her.
One day, he approached her and asked for small help. He told her that his friend had recently lost his job due to the COVID circumstances and that he was looking for an employment opportunity for him. He requested the victim to look for an opportunity in her office. The duo exchanged their phone numbers and Ansari initiated the chat to further propose to her for marriage. The lady gently replied that she was not interested in the proposal as she was a Hindu.
Despite denying keeping in touch, the accused continued to pursue her and keep a watch on her. On September 6, 2021, Ansari deceptively invited her for lunch and fed her foul food. He told her that he was returning to his native place in Bihar and that he wanted to see her for one last time. He fed her with Biryani, intoxicated her through food, and abducted her. He took her to a hotel in Delhi’s Paharganj area and raped her. He also lit a cigarette, used it to physically abuse her body parts and recorded a video of the horror episode to blackmail her to accept Islam.
Ansari then spirited away the lady to Bihar where his father Shahid Ansari and other male relatives raped her. After a week or so, the accused took her back to Gurugram and locked her in his paternal aunt’s house. In Gurugram too, the victim was continuously raped by Ansari and his relatives. His paternal aunt threatened her to convert to Islam and forcefully fed her with beef.
On May 13, the victim managed to slip from the spot and contacted the Gurugram Police. She narrated the entire horror to the Police who then registered an official complaint against the accused and his relatives. Accordingly, an FIR has been registered against accused Saif Ansari, his father Shahid Ansari, paternal aunt, uncle, and other relatives who harassed the victim.
According to reports, Saif Ansari is already married and has a notorious image in his village in Bihar. The villagers while talking to Dainik Bhasker stated that Ansari has a habit of cheating on innocent girls and that he had also trapped a Hindu girl in the past. He has been living in Delhi for the last one-and-a-half year and is married. Recent cases of Grooming JihadIt is important to note that this is not the first time that such a case of Grooming Jihad has been reported. Last month, a minor girl was raped, blackmailed and exploited by a man named Kasim who had allegedly claimed to be Rahul. Kasim had allegedly lured the girl into a relationship online by identifying himself as ‘Rahul’. He belonged to the same neighbourhood as the victim and had gradually gained her confidence, eventually raping her and making obscene video clips to blackmail her further.
In Mumbai, a 23-year-old man named Mohammed Ansari was arrested in connection to the brutal murder of an 18-year-old NEET aspirant girl named Sonam Shukla. The victim had gone missing after she left her home for tuition. As per the police, the teenager did not attend her tuition classes and instead went to one of her female friend’s houses before leaving the place. The 19-year-old had gone to the residence of Mohammed Ansari, a graduate student and a bakery owner, where he killed her over a heated argument with her.
The Haridwar police had arrested a youth named Sadiq who posed as a Hindu to befriend a minor girl and raped her thereafter. According to the FIR filed in the case on April 10, 2022, Sadiq had introduced himself as Ratan Tyagi to lure the Hindu girl. He then threatened her with her intimate pictures and sexually assaulted her.
Besides this, there are several similar cases of Love Jihad, where Muslim men have lied about their religious identity to trap innocent non-Muslim women to forcefully marry and sexually abuse them. OpIndia has documented several such cases over the last few years.
In the recent case, an FIR has been registered against Saif Ansari, his father Shahid Ansari, paternal aunt, uncle and other relatives who harassed the victim and the case has been transferred to Paharganj Police Station for further investigation. |

Her 10-year-old nephew was also injured after being hit with a bullet. Both of them were immediately rushed to the hospital, but Amreena succumbed to the injuries. Her nephew is currently undergoing treatment. Islamists abuse Kashmiri actress Amreena Bhat for allegedly insulting Islam, celebrate her deathA day after the actress was killed, India Today journalist Pooja Shali revealed how the Kashmiri actress, before and even after her death, had been receiving a lot of hate from the people of her own community for allegedly insulting Islam. Besides, she also attracted some abusive comments targeting her work owing to her Muslim identity by Islamists like Shenfu Malik, Shaukat etc. Amreena Bhat was very popular on social media. With around 26.8K followers on Instagram, she would make reels and musical videos. Her last reel on a Bollywood song had a strap on it. It reads: “Love you MA”. |
Crime › Muslim Family Stabs A Young Woman Multiple Times For Dating A Non-muslim by BetterHeadline(op): 5:55pm On May 26, 2022 |
The Religion of PeaceThe 29-year-old woman accused of trying to kill her younger sister is on home-detention bail. An Adelaide court has heard a family accused of trying to kill a young Muslim woman in an "attempted honour killing" tried to track her down days earlier, breaking into a house and assaulting someone else in the process.
Five members of the woman's family – including her father, mother, sister and brother — have been charged with the attempted murder and false imprisonment of the 21-year-old, who was allegedly stabbed in the abdomen several times with a large kitchen knife at the Sefton Plaza Shopping Centre car park in November.
The alleged victim suffered a perforated kidney, lacerated liver and significant internal bleeding. Her 29-year-old sister asked the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Tuesday to vary her home-detention bail so she could communicate with her husband who is in custody over the alleged offending.
In opposing the application, prosecutor Tali Costi told the court the alleged victim's sister had been involved in the plan with her family to stab her younger sister and it was a condition of her bail that she have no contact with any of the co-accused. "Over the course of a number of days, the family members of the victim became aware of her entering in a relationship with a man of a different faith," Ms Costi told the court.
"In the lead-up to the attempted murder charge there was concerted efforts by different family members to locate her."
Ms Costi told the court that two men had been charged with trespassing and assaulting someone while trying to locate the alleged victim.
"[It] was a mistaken belief by them that their sister might be in the house and it's alleged that they forced entry and assaulted the occupant of the house in an attempt to locate her," she said.
"On the day of the alleged attempted murder, the victim arranged to meet her mother. Her mother has then communicated with other family members. "And the phone records indicate that the mother has communicated with this applicant, and this applicant has communicated then with other accused, leading to all five accused of the attempted murder being at the car park at the relevant meeting time, confronting the victim.
"The allegation is the victim was stabbed by her father with the other family members present … this applicant was holding the victim at the time she was stabbed and forced her into the car."
The court heard members of the family then drove the alleged victim back to the family home, put her in the shower under running water and failed to seek any medical assistance.
Ms Tali told the court police arrived at the house a short time later because bystanders had reported the alleged attack to police.
"There are very serious allegations about the family members working together to locate the complainant and carry out this offence," she said. "It's on that basis that the application to vary (bail) is opposed."
Alleged victim had started relationship with man different faith, court hears.
The court has previously heard the alleged victim had an arranged marriage to her cousin at the age of 17 but she had started a relationship with a man of a different faith and the alleged crime could appropriately be described as "an attempted honour killing".
But the woman's lawyer, Aaron Almeida, told the court his client wanted to be able to communicate with her husband of four years, who was in custody, via telephone.
"It's understandably distressing not being able to check on each other's wellbeing," Mr Almeida told the court.
"The calls to prison are monitored and are readily monitored and can be monitored for any mischievous purpose that may be alleged."
Mr Almeida told the court his client had been compliant with her bail conditions and if she had wanted to make contact with the alleged victim, she would have already done so.
"Had there been a sinister motive or purpose to make contact with the alleged victim that could readily have been done with her mum, who is also on bail," he told the court.
Magistrate Roderick Jensen refused the application to vary bail, saying communication between the husband and wife could "frustrate the prosecution case" and there was evidence of "prior communication" which was relevant to the alleged offending.
Another relative accused of breaking into and assaulting another person days before the alleged attempted murder also applied for a variation to his bail.
His lawyer Craig Caldicott asked the court to order a home-detention compliance report in the hope his client would be granted greater "freedom of movement" with monitoring for work purposes. The matter returns to court in June. |

Foreign Affairs › Islamic Terrorism: 11 Killed As Bomb Blast Rip Through Kabul by BetterHeadline(op): 3:38pm On May 26, 2022*. Modified: 3:54pm On May 26, 2022 |
The Religion of PeaceAfghanistan: At least 11 killed as blasts rip through Kabul, Mazar-i-Sharif Nine people were killed when three bombs placed on board separate minibuses exploded in Mazar-i-Sharif city, while two people were killed in a blast inside a Kabul mosque.
Kabul: Four bombs ripped through minibuses and a mosque in Afghanistan on Wednesday, killing at least 11 people, officials said.
The number of bomb attacks have dropped across the country since the Taliban seized power last year in August, but several deadly bombings had rocked the country during the holy month of Ramadan.
On Wednesday, at least nine people were killed when three bombs placed on board separate minibuses exploded in the northern city of Mazar-i-Sharif, police said.
"The bombs were placed on three minibuses in different districts of the city," Balkh provincial police spokesman Asif Waziri told AFP, adding that 15 other people were wounded.
Another bomb exploded inside a mosque in the capital Kabul late on Wednesday, killing at least two people and wounding 10 others, the interior ministry said.
Kabul's Emergency hospital tweeted that five people had been killed in the mosque blast and 22 others wounded.
Several ambulances rushed to the mosque in Kabul to ferry the victims of the blast, witnesses said. The ministry said the bomb was placed inside a fan in the mosque.
It was still unclear whether Wednesday's bombings targeted any specific community.
Dozens of civilians were killed in Kabul and other cities during Ramadan that ended on April 30 in Afghanistan in the primarily sectarian attacks -- some claimed by the so-called Islamic State group.
On April 29, at least 10 people were killed in a Sunni mosque in Kabul in an attack that appeared to have targeted members of the minority Sufi community who were performing rituals.
On April 21, a bomb at a Shiite mosque in Mazar-i-Sharif had killed at least 12 worshippers and wounded scores more.
The deadliest attack during Ramadan was in the northern city of Kunduz when a bomb tore through a mosque also targeting Sufi worshippers on April 22. At least 33 people were killed in that blast and scores more were wounded.
The regional branch of IS in Sunni-majority Afghanistan has repeatedly targeted Shiites and minorities such as Sufis, who follow a mystical branch of Islam.
IS is a Sunni Islamist group, like the Taliban, but the two are bitter rivals.
The biggest ideological difference is that the Taliban pursued an Afghanistan free of foreign forces, whereas IS wants an Islamic caliphate stretching from Turkey to Pakistan and beyond.
Taliban officials insist their forces have defeated IS, but analysts say the jihadist group remains a key security challenge. |

Crime › Nigerians Are Under Attack From Islamists by BetterHeadline(op): 3:49pm On May 25, 2022*. Modified: 12:34pm On Apr 29, 2025 |
The Religion of PeaceNigeria’s are under attack, but does the West care? The scene is medieval in its horror: a woman stoned, beaten and set on fire by a mob shouting 'Allahu Akbar'. But this didn't happen hundreds of years ago: it took place a week ago in Nigeria. The victim was a Christian student named Deborah Samuel, from Sokoto in the north west of the country. Samuel's 'crime', for which she paid with her life, was to have allegedly posted a ‘blasphemous’ comment on a WhatsApp group against the prophet Mohammed.
Even in a nation riddled by decades of ethnic and religious conflict where thousands of Christians have been killed, the incident has sparked uproar. But this outrage has mostly been confined to Nigeria itself; much of the Western world turns a blind eye to the horrors unfolding in Africa.
In the last year, more Christians have been killed for their faith in Nigeria than anywhere else in the world combined. In 2021, at least 6,000 Christians died for their religion; eight in ten were Nigerians, often at the hands of jihadists.
Like or loathe Donald Trump, under his administration, the United States at least took a keen interest in the plight of Christians in Nigeria. The country, along with China and Iran, was added to the U.S. State Department’s list of ‘countries of particular concern’ regarding religious freedom. This formed a plank of the U.S. government’s aim to tackle religious persecution across the globe. But remarkably, under the watch of Joe Biden, Nigeria has since been taken off the list. Biden is under pressure to reverse this decision due to the surge in anti-Christian violence. But whether he does or not, it's remarkable how little attention he – and indeed other Western leaders – are giving this issue.
Earlier this month, Isis released a video showing 20 Christians being executed in the north east Borno state. Across Nigeria as a whole, approximately 90,000 people have been killed by insurgents (or government forces) since 2009, with around 40,000 of these killed in the Boko Haram insurgency.
Between January and March this year, more than 560 Christians were killed for ‘faith-related reasons’ and at least 531 abducted, according to Open Doors. This horror looks set to worsen. A spike in attacks is anticipated over the coming months during farming season, which is historically associated with land grabs, and the destruction of harvests. For people reliant upon these crops, famine inevitably follows. It’s an endless cycle of violence, murder and mayhem.
The perpetrators of these crimes aren’t just the seasoned jihadists of Boko Haram. An Isis off-shoot, the Islamic State in West Africa Province (Iswap) and the lesser-known, but equally brutal Islamic Fulani militia (or ‘herdsman’) in Nigeria’s Middle Belt, are also to blame. In that troubled region alone – which marks the divide between the principally Muslim north and the mainly Christian south – an estimated 15,000 killings have occurred since 2009; countless others have suffered life-changing injuries. This organised, systematic, and coordinated butchery, which is wrongly assumed by some to be merely a ‘farmer-herder’ conflict, has resulted in the mass displacement of thousands of Christians. Fulani militia specifically target Church leaders, Christian villages, and symbols of Christianity. Luka Binniyat, from the Southern Kaduna Peoples Union, is clear about the purpose: ‘We are faced with a war of conquest and occupation. This is an expansion of Islam by force. They are changing the demography of the region.’
Yakubu, a father of four from Miango, Plateau state, was one of those who fell victim to the mob: ‘Fulani militia hit my son in the head with a machete. My son raised his hand to block the attack, and they hacked his hand. My two daughters started screaming, and they attacked them with machetes too.’
This frenzied attack left the boy’s right eye hanging out of his skull; 14 people were murdered that day. In one village in Southern Kaduna earlier this year, a 98-year-old women was thrown into her burning home, mocked prior to her slaughter with the fiendish utterance: ‘You look cold, grandma. come this way.’
Inevitably, too, some Christian and secular vigilantes are now hitting back against Muslims. There is a real danger of Nigeria descending into religious civil war.
If the United States has turned its back on Nigeria, how has the UK reacted to the upsurge in violence? Worryingly, the government’s policy on supporting internally displaced people in the Middle Belt remains patchy. Much of the aid handed to Nigeria goes to the country's north east and north west. Not enough is going to help those in the Middle Belt, who face the daily risk of religious violence.
The trending #BringBackOurGirls put the spotlight on Nigeria back in 2014, but that hashtag made little difference to Christians living in fear of their lives.
Tory MP Edward Leigh’s intervention in the Commons last year on the state of apathy over Nigeria remains sadly relevant: 'Can we not proclaim the fact that black lives matter everywhere, not just in the West?', he asked.
While the focus of the Western world rightly remains on the suffering of Ukrainians, we can ill-afford to forget the nightmarish plight of Nigeria’s persecuted Christians. |
Crime › Muslim Man Stabs His Sister 28 Times For Marrying Against Family's Wish by BetterHeadline(op): 3:41pm On May 25, 2022 |
The Religion of PeaceERBIL, Kurdistan Region - A woman was stabbed by one of her brothers dozens of times in Erbil late Monday over a dispute dating back to 2014. The woman told Rudaw on Wednesday that this was the third murder attempt by her family. Footage obtained by Rudaw shows Zulaykha Hussein, 23, being stabbed by one of her brothers 28 times in Erbil province’s Ainkawa district after refusing to follow him. She told Rudaw’s Sidad Lashkiri on Wednesday that she sustained injuries to her face, head, hand, back and legs. She was rescued from the gruesome ordeal by passers-by, and her brother ran away.
Hussein, who preferred to be identified and show her face, said she has now filed a lawsuit against her brother, who remains at large.
In 2014, Hussein married a man against the will of her family who then threatened the couple. However, the family allegedly agreed to leave them alone.
“I have survived three murder attempts by my family. They initially wanted to kill me with a gun while I was in Zakho. I ran away, but I was hit in the leg,” she said. “The second time [another of my] brothers came to my home and tried to suffocate me with a rope. This time another brother of mine tried to kill me with a knife.”
Hussein, who is originally from Zakho, asked why her family agreed to leave them alone but then made their lives so unbearable.
The woman’s suffering surged when her husband committed suicide late last year after going bankrupt in a business. She was detained for months for suspected involvement in his death. His parents suspected that she had a hand in his death, she explained, denying any involvement. Hogir Aziz, Erbil police spokesperson, told Rudaw that they have launched an investigation into Hussein’s stabbing and an arrest warrant has been issued for her brother.
Adding to the woman’s trauma, she told Rudaw that a number of her children had died. Now, she is the sole parent of a five-year-old daughter.
Kurdistan Region Deputy Prime Minister Qubad Talabani said in a tweet late Wednesday that he was “appalled and outraged by yet another attack on a woman by a family member, this time in Erbil,” and that “There is no excuse for violence against women.”
He added that the Region’s interior minister and security forces “are doing everything to bring this criminal to justice.”
Several femicides have been reported recently in the Kurdistan Region despite the Region’s efforts to end gender-based violence and so-called honor killings. A woman was allegedly killed by her husband in Erbil on May 9 for a disagreement over “familial issues.”
“We must bolster efforts to challenge the toxic masculinity and patriarchal social norms that continue to result in violence. Together we must advocate for the prosecution of perpetrators and the strengthening of the Kurdistan Region Law to Combat Domestic Violence,” a February statement from the Erbil-based NGO SEED Foundation urged. Crime › Gang Of Muslims Assault Woman For Wearing Jeans by BetterHeadline(op): 3:08pm On May 21, 2022 |
The Religion of PeaceA group of thuggish supporters of pro-jihadist Jamaat-e-Islami and pro-Caliphate Hefazat-e-Islam assaulted a female college student in Narsingdi district in Bangladesh for wearing jeans and tops. According to media reports, the female college student was travelling by railway along with two of her male classmates. As the train arrived at Narsingdi railway station, a group of thuggish supporters of pro-jihadist Jamaat-e-Islami and pro-Caliphate Hefazat-e-Islam charged the female as to why she was wearing jeans and tops in a Muslim country.
They even said, the female was violating sharia rule and causing insult to Islam. As the male classmates of the female student protested the matter, the group of radical Muslims began physically assaulting the female student along with her male companions.
They also charged one of the male companions as to why he had tattoo in his hand. This incident took place in broad-day-light while several people had videoed the entire incident and uploaded on social media.
As the situation deteriorated, the female student had to run and take shelter inside the office of the station master to save her life from the unruly attackers. Railway Police rescued the female student along with her male companions and boarded them in a Dhaka-bound train. But the law enforcement agencies did not take any action against the attackers.
Following the incident, the victim female student asked the station master as to whether wearing jeans and tops is a crime in a secular Bangladesh.
According to media reports, in the recent days a group of radical Muslims, mostly belonging to Jamaat-e-Islami and Hefazat-e-Islam are bullying females for wearing jeans and shirt and jeans and tops and even for not wearing hijab and burqa. In some cases, madrassa teachers and students are also targeting people for wearing “un-Islamic” attire. |

Muslim Police Officer Supports Killing Of Deborah, Says Muslims Not In Support Are Kaffir. The Religion of PeaceBelow Are Some Islamic Verses In Support Of Killing Alleged Blasphemersmuhammad couldn't stand criticism so began to rally his followers to kill his critics. Here he advised his followers to veil their women so they will be easily recognized and left alone, while encouraging his followers to molest, rape, and kill the unveil women of his critics. “Indeed, those who malign allah and his messenger, allah has cursed them in this world and the hereafter . . . And those who malign believing men and believing women undeservedly, they bear the guilt of slander and obvious sin. O prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to draw their veils close around them. That will be better, so that they may be recognized and not molested. Allah is always forgiving, merciful. If the hypocrites and those in whose hearts is a disease and the alarmists in the city do not stop, we will indeed urge you on against them, then they will be your neighbors in it only for a little while. Cursed, they will be seized wherever they are found and killed with a slaughter .” (Qur’an 33:57-61) muhammad murdered his critics. He even murdered their children. Abu ‘Afak was a poet who was over one hundred years old, and had mocked muhammad in his verses. Muhammad asked his companions: “Who will avenge me on this scoundrel?” One of them murdered Abu ‘Afak in his sleep. Likewise with another poet who mocked him: the poetess ‘Asma bint Marwan. Muhammad on another occasion cried out, “Will no one rid me of this daughter of Marwan?” One of muhammad’s companions, ‘Umayr ibn ‘Adi, went to her house that night, where he found her sleeping next to her children. The youngest, a nursing babe, was in her arms. But that didn’t stop ‘Umayr from murdering her and the baby as well. Muhammad commended him: “You have done a great service to allah and his messenger, ‘Umayr!” (Ibn Ishaq, 674-676) muhammad murdered his critics. Here we learn that mocking muhammad is the same as mocking allah. Then there was Ka’b bin Al-Ashraf, another poet whose crime was mocking muhammad. Muhammad again asked his companions: “Who is willing to kill Ka’b bin Al-Ashraf who has hurt allah and his apostle?” One of the companions, Muhammad bin Maslama, answered, “O allah’s apostle! Would you like that I kill him?” When muhammad said that he would, Muhammad bin Maslama said, “Then allow me to say a (false) thing (i.e. to deceive Kab).” Muhammad responded: “You may say it.” Muhammad bin Maslama duly lied to Ka’b, luring him into his trap, and murdered him. The Religion of PeaceMuslim parents protest after primary school gives children pork instead of vegetarian sausages Angry parents are demanding the school in West Bromwich to explain their "mix up" Muslim parents have protested against Ryders Green Primary in West Bromwich after the school served children pork instead of vegetarian sausages for their lunch.
Angry parents took to the school gate to demand the Claypit Lane school explain the "mix up" as pork, which is banned in the Quran, was served to children at the school where around 70 percent of pupils are Muslims.
A parent told Black Country Live her daughter had noticed the sausage served with mash potato "looked different" to the normal veggie ones.
The parent said: "The teacher said the catering company had confirmed all the children in the school, who had ordered veggie sausages, were given pork. We have to order online, a week before, what our children want every day.
"The whole school was affected. Whoever ordered veggie sausages were given meat.
"For my daughter to be given a product that is against our religion is absolutely disgusting. About 70% of pupils are Muslim."
The local authority in charge of schooling Sandwell Council has spoken to parents with school and catering company.
A spokesman for Ryders Green Primary School said: "On Thursday, there was an incident involving the catering company that provides our school meals which meant some pupils were served meat rather than the vegetarian option they had chosen."
"We have taken this matter very seriously and have formally complained to the catering provider and the Food Standards Agency," they explained." |
