Distributors and dealers sell cheaper because they want to meet targets.

They now cover for loss of selling cheaper from incentives mtn glo etc pays.

But also note that while still looking for answers and taking advices of people here as regards yoghurt and what not their are other forms of things that could cause abdominal pain that one may not see on CT or US. Then again anything that could cause pain when a clinician applies pressure on the abdomen should and could be detected by conventional means of examination.

I did a CT scan with contrast. I have the plate and film. The radiologist, who owned the centre was a prof at UNN.

He said my ailments were in my head. And asked whether I wanted MRI. Although he didn't have the machine in his clinic.

The consultant gastroenterologist at UNTH said the CT result was okay. That everything is okay structurally. He wasn't patient enough though to check other things.

Although he gave the impression that other things could be wrong.


I am just tired.

Everything was normal according to the surgeon at UNTH where it was done. Nothing was found.

It was upper endoscopy.

It's not that commercial Hollandia yoghurt, it's natural yoghurt with particular bacteria in it.

I think they sell "Activia" brand on Jumia, you can check there

Yes, I have been placed on the bed and examined several times by pressing my abdomen to feel where the pain comes from.

But it's not really from one place. It's just like touching a part of pot on fire to check where is hot. My whole stomach hurts.

Not really. I think abdominal issues are complicated. Even abroad.
So you might want to do some tests depending on your symptoms to rule out some options.

CT is supposed to pick up the nerve (and stones). Have you tried MRI?

Ultrasound should pick up the stones. Have you tried seeking a second opinion?

And have you eaten live yoghurt culture to get your gut flora back to normal after all those antibiotics?

Have you checked your prostate?

Didn't do MRI.

I did 2 ultrasounds at separate places including a teaching hospital.

Did endoscopy too.


Could you recommend any yoghurt brand?

Is it different from normal yoghurt? Like Aqua Rapha yoghurt?

They keep treating typhoid fever because test results shows typhoid. Some of them are even saying is psychological. I met one long time ago and he gave up on me.

I just wanna travel out for a better treatment. I will save up for that.

Yes, exhausted the drugs for h pylori. No improvement at all.

Is it because he is sick now?

Please who can help me ask the mods what I have done wrong to warrant not being answered here

This is quite interesting I must say..
If u don't get relieved, no matter how minute, from either of antacid, proton pump inhibitor (like omeprazole) or H2 receptor antagonists ( like cimetidine) then it's time to stop thinking about peptic ulcer.
H. Pylori can be present in normal individual without peptic ulcer. And it's not the mainstay for diagnosing peptic ulcer. Endoscopy still remains the key element.
So let's puncture this.
What part of the abdomen is the pain?
Upper or lower right or left?
Do u urinate too frequently when this pain is intense?
Do u feel pain while urinating?
For the pain to aggravate to the groins it could be a ureteric stone.
Unfortunately the ultrasound scans might miss it.
The CT scan could miss it too unless it's a non contrast CT.
Xray too could pick it depends on the type of stone.
So the best investigation is a non contrast CT.
All the same, online diagnosis can't be relied on. Go to a good doctor, discuss my possible diagnosis with him. He takes a comprehensive history and guides you on carrying further investigations.
And if it's not ureteric stone, then I might be forced to join the band of other doctors who think it might be psychological.

I don't get relief from ppi, h2 receptor antagonists etc.

I have no difficulty or pain urinating. None at all.
The sensations or hotness, (more of like hotness) gets to my groin. I feel my whole body from neck to legs hot.

As per part of pain, it's not as if, it's a particular area in the abdomen. No particular side. I have been examined too physically by many.

I FEEL THE HOTNESS or cramp EVERYWHERE. It same hotness that radiates to my whole body.

It's feels like someone is pouring methylated spirit on open wound.

I feel worse if i bend to tie my shoes or pick something on the floor. Feel worse if i try to pound with a mortar, or if a bus hits a pothole. Anything that causes bodily movement like running etc.


I feel worse if i get bad news too or lose substantial sum.


I am confused and tired. I havent gained weight too but lost some.

I know online is not hospital but I have met over 50 doctors at different times.

I just want to see if I can get a clue then find doctors offline I can suggest to.

I strongly believe its not pyschological, I know what i am going through.

Thr Ct scan was with contrast. UNTH further confirmed h pylori 3 days ago. Making it 3 different labs. Blood samples were used in all.


I observed that having diarrhoea that leads to watery stools gives me a small relief.

There's a tipple and as well a quadruple and these drugs are very effective not minding the stubborn nature if this organism.

Combine ppi, clarithromycin, amoxicillin, and metronidazole for 10 days. Then watch what happens. If you haven't gotten full relief,
For the next ten days, substitute clarithro for levoflox and take combination for the next ten days and God willing, you will be fine.

It got worse like this because you relied on single line therapy all along which is not advisable with h pylori.

Probiotics are underway for the treatment of this condition but till then.

Be sure of your food and water, always buy Eva if you cant boil and refrigerate water for drinking and make sure ur food is cooked or put in microwave.

if endoscopy and fecal occult blood test confirms negative for ulcer, then it's likely you dont have it. this h pylori is well known for its recalcitrant behaviour and you will be needing an aggressive antibiotic therapy which will be administered in combination. clarithromycin and augmentin have high success rate.
