TravelRe: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Beverlyhills: 9:08pm On Mar 08, 2022
Been Single isn't a Criteria for visa rejection.

Remote jobs have their Pros and Cons. In this scenario, the notion you can work efficiently from anywhere has to be overcomed considering you have no travel history even though in some cases can be overlooked.

If your Company can do a Guarantee that you will definitely return after the offsite meeting then you stand a better chance.

They may ask why you cant Zoom in for this meeting.
Again this depends on your Capacity and your Level.

Its all in the Hands of the Employers in France to do the needful with a strong worded Letter sighting the utmost need for your presence. Evidence of official Correspondences

Are they sponsoring the trip? Was the first form properly filled ?

quote author=Marybeth262728 post=110866420]@Beverlyhills I have sent this reply to my company. They will modify the invitation letter and send a letter to the embassy as well on my behalf.

Is there anything else aside this i can use to aid my application.

Hi Marybeth,
Its One Pointer

1. Your Company is in France and you work remotely- the Visa officer has unanswered questions as to why you can work remotely but need to be physically present to engage in an Offsite meeting.

This is the Doubt he or she has.

In this invitation letter, what was written? Duration of this offsite meeting and why your physical presence is of utmost importance to your growth as well as the company?
Was a copy of this Invitation letter sent to the Embassy as well as OR its just the copy they sent you?
Your Company should also guarantee that after this offsite meeting you will definitely return back to Nigeria .
Marybeth262728:
Hello , I have been following the thread here
I applied for a business visa first timer
My company is in France and I work remotely. I was invited for an offisite meeting, I got my passport today but was rejected.

These are the documents I submitted
My passport
The completed Visa Application Form
My Bank statement
My Payslips
Invitation letter from my company(Mindee)
Confirmation letter/ Employee agreement
Appointment letter
Employees Directory
Certificates relating to my occupation
Cover letter with travel itinerary explaining purpose of my trip
Letter explaining the previous rejection
Travel Medical Insurance policy
Proof of Hotel reservation
My Flight Reservation
Covid Vaccination Card

And I was rejected with these reason
Information justifying the purpose and condition of intended travel

And

There are reasonable doubts of your intention to leave the member state .....

I need to reapply again as this travel is urgent and essential for me.

What do you think I can do differently in my new application

Do I get my company is to send the embassy an email directly, would that be beneficial to me.

Please I need advice.

Try to be sure the receipt states 12th .

Ask your agent or check through your Calendar planner if you have one.

Try looking for the old Biometrics slip handled to you and input the date.

Ignore the last biometric visa section, because you weren't issued one.

meljoe:
Yes I did , picture was taken and is it a must I remember when I did the thumbprint ? I can’t remember the date ohh , they are asking for it and they are asking for number of last biometric visa ?
TravelRe: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Beverlyhills: 10:52am On Mar 04, 2022
Yes , i believe you went for Biometrics the last time at VFS?

3m isnt sufficient for 2 Adults. When you state you had N 500k was this your First or Second Visa.

Do a rough estimate and see if it works for

Flight - N 350,000 x 2= N 700,000( KLM- Eco) this is an example.
Hotel- N 450,000 (Depends on the Arrondissement you choose though) maybe cheaper
.
Feeding & Shopping- N ??

This is taking almost N 2,000,000 already.

You have kids back home, a business and expenses to take care of after the trip.

As Said already run the business for more funds
. Except you have some money market funds which can be liquidated to cash then you are good with the N 3M.

HRprof:
As far as you are doing business it is possible to use all the money in your account for business purpose sometimes is not an issue since there is constant inflow and outflow in the account.
Ensure the salary you pay yourself from your business account reflects to your personal account . The reason for including your business statement of account is to show your business impact but your personal account will be considered. Also include your husband account statements if possible.
Explain in your statement of purpose letter that you are the sponsor for the trip
3m account balance is okay and if you get other documents right it might fly.
If your account is not build enough for the whole family trip you can consider you and your husband trip for now.

Please when applying for a Visa, anything and Everything you feel helps show your Ties back home even if its a CV , association Certificate Include it...

The Visa Times are getting tougher. It was abit easier before 2020.

Take a clue from Gloryjoyeux..

No Document is Irrevelant .. what worked for Mr. A may not work for Mr. B.

The list is endless.
TravelRe: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Beverlyhills: 7:37am On Mar 03, 2022
No 8 is totally right. Family proof here in the case of a married person is their marriage Certificate, birth certificate of your kids.

If you are Single, please attach pictures this goes to show you have a family here.

No 9, if you have paid Personal Tax on Direct Assessment please include and if you dont have some Tax filings ignore it.

quote author=HRprof post=110696238]

No 8 is not necessary
No 11 is not compulsory but if you have no problem. I applied with my CAC without Tax document and I still get it.
TravelRe: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Beverlyhills: 8:11pm On Mar 01, 2022
Don't rush it. Take a step back , this requires some planning. At the moment, France seems to be the easiest at the moment . Avoid Visa Shopping.

With the list you provided, i bet some other country will grant you easily.

Thanks Beverley hills

When can I reapply ? and to see appointment date for first timer is war too lol

Which Schengen country I can apply too
TravelRe: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Beverlyhills: 7:31pm On Mar 01, 2022
Hello Gentlesoul,
Its a hard one but dont give up.

its a Generic reponse with incoherence. Has nothing to do with the Hotel but more of the purpose of visit / travel history.

Post Covid Era has changed a whole lot..
TravelRe: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Beverlyhills: 8:48pm On Feb 28, 2022
You can reach out to VFS Abuja via email to find out the true situation of things so they can be allowed to submit on the appointment day.

You can do a part Sponsorship with their flights. They should take care of others . You can do a Bank transfer indicating Flight Payment for Birthday Getaway seperately to their account .

You should include a letter of Sponsorship in regards to the flight bank transfer to them stating that even though they can afford to foot their trip cost, you would want them to have the said amount because you really want them to come celebrate and bond with you.

Remember to include the evidence of this bank transfer.

Considered Travel history to an extent. However, first time application to the Schengen region Post Covid era has greatly changed from the norm.

Fully Sponsoring them with little or no travel history may not go down well with the Visa officer.

Get your Flight bookings to show multi trip routing to LOS- LHR-CDG-LOS.

Include copies their French visas , proof of Sibling relationship like Pictures etc With your sister.

Back it up with a detailed Cover letter. Any planned itinerary should sync with theirs . Try to check what her itinerary was as at the time of Application.

akayd:
Good morning guys,

Please i need help on how to go about the visa process for France.

So, I want to go to France from the UK next month for 4days with my sister and her family.

If you dont have the NIN kindly disregard it. You can make your own plan without any tour reservation.

Hello Mama2Gees,

Do your Elder Siblings have any previous travel history?
TravelRe: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Beverlyhills: 7:05pm On Feb 28, 2022
You have to check often as time slots open up .

ditha:
Please I noticed that the Abuja vfs booking doesn’t list first time or frequent travellers in their drop down list. Does it mean they welcome first timers?
TravelRe: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Beverlyhills: 7:04pm On Feb 28, 2022
Hello ditha, i would advice you both plan somewhere that's visa free like Seychelles, dubai, lebanon etc. Subsequently when your hubby has some travel history then you both can plan France.

ditha:
Hi everyone, my husband wants to get a France visa from Nigeria, I am in Canada, so we want to meet in France for summer. I am still reviewing the information here, but I just want to share the documents we currently have. He doesn't have any travel history. he has a registered business in Nigeria. I have enough ,money to cover the trip for both of us, can I be the primary sponsor for him?

Simply state it the same way you just did here and state why you choose france to Greece.
Your duration of stay in France - 1 year and 6 months in Germany for Completion.

Short and concise.

Draft something and post it here , we are here to assist you modify it if need be.

Keep out personal details.

Iwuchineme:
Yeah all my visa application docs for studies came from france except the course fees receipts which was issued from germany as the main campus but my program end date written there is for when i will be done generally in germany not when i will be done in france...It's written July 2023 but i will be done in France in Jan 2023 then move to complete....How to explain that in cover letter is what i am confused about
TravelRe: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Beverlyhills: 7:11pm On Feb 20, 2022
Hello Iwuchineme

1. You are staying longer in France so you have to go through France. Campus France would not attend to you atall if you were to apply through the German Embassy.

2. Your Cover letter: Pick a Paragraph to explain this to the visa Officer in very simple English language.

Alot of Students do such interchange every year within the Schengen region.
TravelRe: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Beverlyhills: 5:46pm On Feb 20, 2022
Use Binder Clips or Paper clips.

Just a quick question from gurus in the house

Can I staple any documents that more than 1 page if I want to submit at the vsf on my appointment date?
TravelRe: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Beverlyhills: 9:16am On Feb 20, 2022
1. Its not sufficient just to state your plan, it should be backed with an unpaid flight or train reservation.

2. Yes , you should include that . If you can do a multi city routing to accommodate your plans - LOS - CDG- LHR- LOS or LOS- LHR- CDG- LOS. Your Choice.

3. A short stay Tourist visa -Request for that in your Cover letter ,explain in simple terms that you would need visits in April and September..

4. Attach in the necessary Documentation, the list is endless.

Good morning and special thanks to those taking time to reply others. God bless you all.

Please help with the following:

I have a valid 5 year UK visa. I already booked (and paid) for a ticket to London for Easter holiday. I want to do a 4-day trip to Paris from London and plan to go by Train (2 hours plus).

1. Is it sufficient to state this without evidence of flight booking or is it a must to include flight booking or training booking?

2. Do i need to include my flight ticket to London in the application?

3. I will like to use the Visa again in September. Which Visa type should I apply for that will cover the trips in April and September?

I already made hotel reservation (Paris) and I have valid Canadian Visa.
