Oke00700:
Hi guys, I’m new here .

I intend to study in France for my masters . I am looking to study management related courses. I am also applying to universities in Dijon , Toulouse and BORDEAUX

I wanted to ask you about your experience studying there?
I have searched the whole of YouTube for a Nigerian experience but can’t find.

Could you please enlighten me about studying there? Is it worth it? In terms of getting a post graduate job & pursing residency after?

I’m looking to work part time jobs there to pay of my rent and expenses . I have money for tuition which is currently €3770 per year (Two years)

Is it easy to get a part time job without knowing how to speak french?

I’m already applying to enrol for a french programme here in Nigeria until I leave for studies.

I’m considering the U.K. and France but France because the tuition is cheaper.

Also what documents do I need for visa application?

Should I pay tuition fees before or after I arrive in France?

Can I use my brothers account with more than 10m?

I also have 2.8m in my account.

Also has anyone gotten a scholarship to study in France? How did you get it please

Please help

Thank you

You need to decide on which to go for.

If you aren't working, do you run a business or are you a student? You need to prove your ties to Nigeria.

Use the photograph dimension as shown on the website. Any professional photographer should be able to size and give you a soft copy to upload.

Please can anyone direct me to where in Lagos or Osun an accurate picture for the DS160 can be taken. A friend went to take a photograph today and it was instantly rejected upon online submission.

You can try but that may lead to an express denial.

Isnt there a way to reschedule your US interview?

Please I want to know if anyone has an idea if I can request that my passport be given to me at the Austria embassy after the interview. I have an interview at us embassy 4 days after the interview.

Is this your first application or you frequent the area?

When did you submit? Give 15 working days

Please if a passport summited for visa is taking long to being approved is that a good or bad signhuh
TravelRe: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Beverlyhills: 8:00am On Feb 06, 2020
First your girlfriend needs to visit the town hall to get the attestation d'accueil to show her apartment/flat can accommodate you.
You need to provide your documents to prove your ties to Nigeria .
If all is in place, you should apply for a tourist visa.

I would advice though: you stand a better chance applying on your own without an invitation. Get all your documentation right.

An invitation doesnt guarantee a Visa you must meet the criteria.

Acedough:
Hello guys, I wish to apply for a French visiting Visa from Nigeria. I have a girlfriend who is student over there, she'll provide an invitation letter. Ignore the visapro number - Not Applicable

hardywaltz:
Good day
I was filling the visa application form till I got to a place where they wee asking for VISAPro number?

Please who knows what exactly a visa pro number is?

Ps: I am traveling to Amsterdam in May for a Seminar which I have paid for and they gave me invitation letter.

On the visa application form I stated Business as reason for the travel.

But I don't understand what a VISAPro number is
TravelRe: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Beverlyhills: 8:35am On Feb 04, 2020
You are your own employer. Avoid those agents for your own sake. Having a clean immigration record is priceless. I would advice you start building your travel history if you havent already. The schengen region needs some proper planning and documentation.

Dont be in a hurry, register your business name with CAC i think less than N 20,000 would do the magic.as this will greatly count for you as a tie since you arent married nor own a properties.Get some taxation done as well. Europe is always there but having a stained immigration record is hell.

ILOVEGARRI:
Hello good people,
I have gone tru all the requirements to apply for a french visa by reading this thread, such an eye opener indeed.
But here are my issues,
Looking tru all the requirements,
I can provide only health/travel insurance and a well funded bank statement(with great cash inflow and outflow)with a well penned letter of introduction.(with good itinerary)
But due to the fact that i am a trader(with no registered biz name or cac documents)as well,i have no employer nor pay slips or salary accounts.
As well, not married, and i dont have any properties.
All i truely intend doing is to visit france majorly, spain, italy etc for 1-2 weeks for purely tourism purposes(gain some level of exposure)only and come back to nigeria(my hustle here pays more than living illegally over there)
What are my chances and how do i go about my visa application?
Agents told me to pay as high as 300k and they would help me process it,but i feel its not a do or die affair, read the thread from page 1 and i see its what one can do his/her self without enriching anyone or bin scammed

So i need advice of experts on here to kindly put me through.

Thanks,i look forward to the replies

Schengen Visa Info
11 Dec 2019
Schengen Countries Confirm: New Visa Code to Be Implemented as of February – Visa Fees Increase to €80
Schengen Visa

All Schengen Visa applicants lodging an application file from February 2020 and on, will be subject to the new Schengen Visa Code, which among others foresees an increase in visa fees by 33.3%.

The updated Visa Code was adopted by the EU Council in June 2019, and it applies to all European Union Member States and associate countries that participate in the Schengen Agreement.

The new code also foresees the extension of the available application period from three to six months prior to the trip and a harmonized approach to the issuing of multiple entry visas to regular travelers with a positive visa history for a period, which increases gradually from 1 to 5 years.

In an exchange of emails, officials of several EU countries implementing the Schengen Acquis confirmed to Schengen Visa Info that the reformed Visa Code binds all Schengen member countries in starting its implementation in the same period.

“Since Regulation (EU) 2019/1155 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 20 June 2019 amending Regulation (EC) No 810/2009 establishing a Community Code on Visas (Visa Code) is binding in its entirety and is directly applicable in all EU Member States in accordance with the Treaties, all Schengen countries, including Lithuania, will apply it from 2 February 2020,” an official from the Information Monitoring and Media Division of Lithuania explained for SchengenVisaInfo.com.

A German Federal Foreign Office spokesperson also confirmed that the German mission will apply the reformed Schengen Visa Code from February 2, 2020, as well as officials from the Visa Unit of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland, the Press Office Foreign Affairs of Belgium, and the Foreign Ministry of Denmark.

“According to Article 3 of the EU Regulation 2019/1155 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 20 June 2019: This regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union. It shall apply from 2 February 2020,” a specialist from the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Estonia further highlighted for SchengenVisaInfo.com.

This means that as of the first Sunday of February 2020, Schengen visa applicants will need to pay a fee of €80 instead of €60 per application as it has been so far.

At the same time, applicants will be able to file an application 6 months in advance of their intended trip to the Schengen area, unlike now, when this period is three months in advance. The latest that an application can be submitted, however, is two weeks.

The new visa code obliges Schengen member countries to outsource visa admission to another Schengen member country, or a visa processing service center in those countries they do not have representation so that visa applicants no longer need to travel to another country juts to file an application.

Thank you very much for the insight..... can i pull through with the UK embassy instead?
TravelRe: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Beverlyhills: 2:59pm On Jan 22, 2020
it means the decision-maker has concluded that the application contains serious problems. Since italy gave that reason after 2 visits then , you should have cleared it out with them before going off to another embassy. Visa shopping doesnt look good.
Give them some space, there are 195 countries in the world. Visit some other places.... come back in some months.....

If you have some business deals in the schengen area then you can give it a shot....

Tourism (Information submitted justifying the purpose and condition for the Intended stay not reliable) that was the only reason given. thanks

TravelRe: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Beverlyhills: 8:15pm On Jan 09, 2020
Improve on your travel history and bank balance abit before applying. Workout your purpose of stay as well.

Schengen visa applications require proper preparation and documentation.

emily111:
Good evening house, please I’m new to this. I want to apply for France visa for a visit of two weeks.

My travel experience is Dubia for 3 months visa and I spent 2 months and 2 weeks , I went for a short course. In 2018

After coming back from the course I register my own company with CAC February 2019 and I got a landed property for my business, I invested in my company. The sales is not that much but during the festive season I made a lot of money and kept 400k which is my gain in treasury bill for 3 month my capital as been pump back into my business and left my bank closing balance at 40k I don’t know if I can apply for the visa now because I plan to travel for May this year.

I don’t want to use any agent and I want my application truthful I would be glad if you can help me with the required documentation and visa fee.

Please any advise would be welcome.

TravelRe: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Beverlyhills: 11:13am On Jan 07, 2020
Sorry for that refusal but the funds in the account were they regular transactions or transactions meant to boost the account? Note denied on the grounds of insufficient funds you have to prove a coherent inflow and outflow on the account used. Appealing is a waste of time. I would advice you reapply with a more coherent account statement and better with a different sponsor.

Try getting some drugs... vitamin C 1000mg is highly effective.

Morning guys.

We thank God for Journey mercies.

We all came back sick, may be because of the cold, cos most of the Parisians were coughing at public places and we probably contracted from them.

It was a mixed experience sha. huh
TravelRe: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Beverlyhills: 7:54pm On Jan 03, 2020
I am aware it's been there. That's one hell of a multi city travel . Kudos

OmoBendel24:
It has been there since even 2018. We got it on ours, I did a multicity travel with my family that year; LOS-CDG-FRA-CDG-MAN-LHR-JFK-YYZ-LOS (between 1 and 3 nights in all these cities except for New York were we did most of the time) and it was over a month past the date of the appointment before we came back. I did write them, and they acknowledged same. Somehow didn't bother to show up as the letter I wrote them, that particular travel history on our passports and boarding passes will help in future on why we couldn't turn up. My wife was able to get another visa from them just last summer despite my fears.

I encourage no one to try such, I don't know what magic worked for us, not a good position to find one's self, quite draining when you put in another application and there seems to be a delay. By all means turn up at VFS after your trip.
