Arsenal is doing much better without him and will continue to be without him. Arsenal is well placed on the table and will continue to do well.

I’m a fan of Aubameyang but truth be told. He messed up. Let’s acknowledge that first. He should focus on rebuilding not just his form but his character as well.

Aubameyang had self inflicted problems at Arsenal. Scoring 100 goals at Barcelona wouldn’t change that fact. He is a brilliant player no doubt but he had disciplinary issues that should’ve been prevented or handled differently by him alone. He was well respected, on a mega money deal and treated like a king at the Emirates. He was lucky to have been at Arsenal and under a novice Arteta. He would’ve had worse issues with many managers.

I’m sure he would have reflected a lot on his experience at Arsenal.

His leaving Arsenal was not just good for him but to Arsenal as a club. His form was poor before he left. He was fluffing chances he easily would’ve slotted in, he wasn’t the Auba that was banging in goals at Dortmund. Arsenal position on the table was not good. All that changed when he was suspended. There was a resurgence, young players took more responsibilities. They were creating chances, scoring goals and winning matches.


All the best to Aubameyang and I hope he ‘checks’ himself at the Nou Camp. Before him, there were Toure, Keita, Eto etc. If he starts misbehaving, Nou Camp wouldn’t be the best place for him. He’d regret why he left Arsenal.
