Ronaldo joined a struggling real madrid team that just invested in new players ... Barcelona was dominating, Ronaldo tried to adjust to a new system which wasn't easy...kaka and benzema that also came in at the same time struggled for years till they sold kaka back to Milan... Ronaldo then got injured and missed over a month due to the injury he sustained... its never easy for players that join a new league in their first season ...real madrid were really at their worst at that time
