malton: Dumb animals who do not know when it is wise to speak what.
I respect old people no matter how annoying they’re being.
But you see, Ango Abdullahi and his cohort always talk stupid. Of all the things he has been saying since I was old enough to think for myself, I can count on one hand the number of times he has made sense.
He has shiiit crazy opinions on everything. He thinks that by the virtue of having lived through the era of northern hegemony, he can talk however much trash he likes.
On top of losing physical abilities, the man seems to have lost logical abilities too.
When it's them ruling, the Hausa/Fulani pretend not to understand the concept of taking turns. Now, all of a sudden they know the concept better than everyone else.
The thing I hate about these puerile, profoundly useless northern old guard, is that they demand to have their problem seen to immediately as if addressing their maids. From giving ultimatums to issuing threats, and now this? Who the fu#k do they think they are to decide who gets what?
If Osibanjo decides to contest today, he'll win, and there's nothing you bastards can do about it.
Hella annoying and idiotic fellows! Whoever made them the mouthpiece of the people. Chop knuckle guy. This is what I call TOP TOP sense making. This deranged northerners see Nigeria as their conquered territory. They are currently the source of our problems. Power belongs to us all. If Prof. Osibanjo or any other candidate be it IPOB or Afonja decides to contest due to popular demand who the heck are they to say no. The best they can do is produce another semi illiterate to rule. Very stupid megalomaniacs who think they have the sole right of leadership. If they are hell bent on ruling let them break off from the nigeria and be ruling their desert and cattles. This country is nobody's sole property. May the best man for the job win, be it yoruba, ibo, hausa or wherever |

MrAwePresident: Of the greatest gbo gbo
You that they accepted you don't know it is rejectee not reject.
Kettle calling pot black... It's evident that we are both products of the same school You seem to be intellectually impaired. A rejectee is someone who has been rejected. You claimed to have gotten admission into the school at your first attempt. It sounds like you opted not to enroll as a student of OAU. If that's the case how can you be an OAU REJECTEE if the school didn't reject you. Me calling you an OAU REJECT is a coined banter phrase. |
Education › Re: Oau : 10 Reasons Why Its Not The Best University by bhankyskillz(m): 8:16am On Feb 05, 2017 |
MrAwePresident: 4a Grading system Because of the importance of this point I will break it down into 3 parts
OAU as at first year in the University, especially if you are a tech student will give you 5 unit courses. Most first year students won't understand the importance of the units of a course until it's too late. Most first year students will spend more time preparing for a 1 unit course than they will spend on a 5 unit course because they don't fully understand the concept of units. Once they fail or score low in a 5 unit course there GP will need extra effort to recover. Unlike Unilag that have 3 units as the highest number of units for a first year.
4b. When a student fails a course. The F will be calculated in the GP, Even if they retake the course and score an A. The effect of the A will be like the effect of a C on their CGPA.
U. I doesn't calculate F in your GP
4c Nobody has any idea how scripts are marked or even marked at all. You can read and write all the answers you believe are the right answers but low and behold they will provide one with a surprising score and you dear not complain It's really shameful. You actually can't tell the difference between DARE & DEAR. No wonder you're an OAU reject. You need Brighter Grammar |

All this people posting disclaimer from nysc. What's the source. Cos its not on their website nor on their facebook or twitter accounts. These are their verified means of communication. All these nonsense that ends with signed by management. Where is it coming from. It all looks like the figment of someone's imagination |

Lagos state has all these things but its 10 times more expensive. does that make Osun state better than it. And everybody wants Lagos regardless of the high cost of transportation, accommodation and feeding oluwafirefunmi: I am a resident also. Professional bodies have a strong hold in Osun too. I took classes for both ICAN and CIIN in Osun and it was way better than what Ibadan had to offer. Also putting into consideration light, water and the steady developing social life, Osun state pls. Ibadan is too expensive is all I'm saying. Even transportation is expensive. |

Finally Oyo residents are talking. No offense to Osun state but Oyo state is head and shoulders above it. I have lived in both states. If you want leisure go to the cinemas. you want to shop head on to shoprite. If you want excitement find your way down to options night club, 411, tarmac just to mention a few. If you love nature, head to Ibadan zoo or agodi gardens. professional bodies like ICAN NIM CIPM MAN, NIESV have strong holds there. Financial institutions are so many, telecommunications companies are there, real estate firms are there, food making and beverage companies and a whole lot of human resource manager's setting up shop in oyo, just to mention a few. Osun state has got nothing on oyo.. |

MissOyin: Hey guyz, Hope everyone z good
BTW: Oyo nd Osun both ve their advantages nd disadvantages.
Osun: there r cheap houses there, d standard of living is low bt the state z boring and they r mainly civil servants there. Few private companies. The only places nt boring there r osogbo nd Ile-Ife nd houses there r quite expensive because of OAU nd Oduduwa universities. Talking from experience.
OYO: oyo town houses r also quite cheap bt houses in Ibadan r expensive. Also things r quite cheap there also. Finally both Oyo town nd Ibadan r more lively dan osun. Most especially no town in osun states can be compared to Ibadan based on everytin.
I rest my case Couldn't have put it better myself. If not for OAU that ile ife will just be a ghost town. |

i lived in Osun for good 8 years and surveyed the clime. so i know what am talking about. There's nothing developing there. Worker's are suffering. I met corpers who just couldn't wait to end their stay all because they made zero progress. My landlord had to reduce house rent just so some tenants could pay. Osun is more of a village than oyo. Oyo is ten times bigger than osun with better economic opportunities and more industry's to support. But then again every state has its villages and remote areas. But the best of ibadan is ten times better than the best of osogbo there's no argument there. Feel free to mention the booming businesses in osun. as for fun? dont go there. how many fun spots exist in osuns stronghold. Am sure oyo people will fault you there. @phoebe you lived in both states. Defend your homeland. oluwafirefunmi: This isn't true. I've lived in both Osun and Oyo, and I'll pick osun any day any time. Oyo is very dry, and local. Osun is developing better than Oyo is, there's more business opportunities than there is in Oyo. You have to put everything into consideration. |

MegaBoolean: What of Oyo State? . Well oyo isn't that bad. still better than osun. If you want something serious for your nysc and you want to make a career stay away from osun. If you just want to while away time then osun fits that bill. But then again we all have different destinies. But its better to make an informed decision. I feel people should pick states not based on electricity or cheap foodstuffs or accommodation but on more substantial parameters. For we men NYSC is a time to think long term. Can the state in question benefit you career wise, can you also have an impact on your community. Do you plan on whiling away one year and return back home unemployed. |
