Hi Prada1,

I didn't re-do my medicals as the one I did in January this year is still valid.

prada1:
Congratulations ma. Did you do another upfront medicals or did you use the former one you had since medicals is for 1 year.

Hi Buckyfof,

Justmellow assisted in modifying my SP to show career progression. He can be reached via his handle here "JustMellow" or "gcmswriters" on Instagram.

buckyfof:
Please how did you tackle “purpose of visit” as that’s the only reason I was denied
And how do I get to just mellow
Thanks

Hi RollyA,

I did a breakdown of the inflow of funds in my LOE and attached the transactional account statement where the inflows originated from to show source of funds. I also had to attach a manual bank statement and highlighted the transactions that were of concern.

RollyA:
Hi, what did you do differently in your second application to address the concerns raised in respect to personal assets and financial status?

My special appreciation goes to God that made my dreams come to reality. He deserves all the glory. I also want to appreciate @JustMellow (gcmswriters) for his guidance and prompt approach in handling my LOE. I reached out to him when I received my notes thinking I could explain the lumpsums before a decision was made but refusal came some days after. JustMellow assisted in writing my LOE to address the financial concerns as well as reconstruct my SOP to address purpose of visit (studied engineering but going for business management course). God bless you and cause his face to shine upon you. Going for a 2yr PG certificate.
Thank you to everyone for their selfless contributions on this thread. The advices, comments and testimonies kept me going even when it looked like all hope was lost. Thank you for the congratulatory messages. God bless you all.

PS: I was able to reapply 3 days after my initial refusal because I already had my GCMS notes and had addressed the concerns in my LOE. All PPR hopefuls will testify soon by God’s grace.

Thank you Jesus. I will be back with full details.

Thank you Frankrobbn1.

Frankrobbn1:
Below are my answers to respond to your enquiry;

1. She (American Citizen) doesn't require a visa to accompany you to Canada. You can travel with her once your study visa pulls through.
2. Please DON'T state that she will be accompanying you to Canada as at the time of your application. This will adversely affect your ties to your home country.
3. Upload same Letter of Acceptance in the column.

I hope this satisfies your enquiry

It will end in praise

Thank you so much. God bless you.

JustMellow:
Hello Bhooomie,

I will go straight in permutational order to your query.

1. You don't need to apply for her.

2. Not necessarily, but mention it briefly since the VO might be curious to know about her wellbeing if you get approved. However, due to COVID-19, you have to seek approval from IRCC on her behalf for "Authorization to Travel" in order for her to be able to travel with you if your application is approved.

3. Request for the letter from the school. If its not forthcoming or if there might be some sort of delay, upload the page of the admission letter where co-op was ticked.

Best of Luck
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by Bhooomie:
Hello All. I have been a silent reader and about to submit my application but have a few questions:
1. I intend to go with my only child (1 year old), and she's an American citizen. Do I need to apply for her or there's no need?
2. If I do not need to apply for her, do I need to state it in my SOP that she will be coming with me?
3. My school only gave an acceptance letter where its included that my course includes COOP. What do I upload in the "Evidence of work requirement section?

@Lekkiboboe, @Justmellow @Fratermathy, Answers will be appreciated. Thank you for all you do on this forum.

Hi Chemical Engineers. I"m a graduate of Chemical & petroleum Engineering and about undergoing my NYSC service in Lagos. Please I need an idea of industries in Lagos that accept Youth Corpers where I can serve for a year and also have a chance of being retained so I can start a career in my field. Awaiting your responses. Thanks!
