Is the gear stick loose while selecting? If it is, check your shift cable

The gear stick isn't loose. the technician confirms its intact. He has even washed and replaced the filter all to no avail.

The sensor that tells the Car which gear you selected might be dirty if it is showing R and D as on you can try removing the bezel and take a look at the dirt that may be causing the problem

I am still on the matter, invited my mechanic with electrician to check, they have checked the electrical wiring and the mechanical parts i.e the shaft whether its pulled and the likes. Their suggestion now is to have the car towed to gear specialist for repairs.
I am of a different view that the gear isnt faulty (i may be wrong) since it is shifting, displaying on the dashboard, no clicking, squealing noise, smell and the oil level is maintained. What do you suggest? I really need help.

I beg to disagree with these your assertions. We should be grateful to God for having this administration with a will-power to fight any corrupt office holder(s) even her cabinet members.
I challenge you to mention any former administration who had ever suspended her SGF (or any minister) on corruption grounds. We knew how long it took the immediate past administration to relieve "Aviation madam" of her post even when her "sins" were more glaring than for the blind to see..... stealing is no corruption indeed.
I believe, as a proponent of justice and equity that the SGF shall be prosecuted in a competent law court if at all these findings about his conducts are valid.
