There are bad reviews and there are bad reviews. With this review you've just posted of Delta airline, I'll still go with them. Yes, it sure looks like they fell short, in a way, in the area of customer service but you need to factor in a number of circumstances when you choose to fly with an airline. There's no glaringly obvious terrible event or person in this review. But then, there's no established metric for quantifying what exactly is 'terribly bad' in terms of customer service among airliners. My judgment may be subjective.

That said, I posted that review of Royal Air Maroc because I found it very disturbing and didn't want any NLer to experience such. If I find a similar review of Delta, I most definitely will let this e-family in on it.
Delta Airline is a good airline although no airline is 100% perfect hiccups here and there

Another Good Story cool

5th April, 2017

It was a quiet hot afternoon in the city of Ikotun, Lagos state. I was in the living room of my apartment perusing my admission letter. I had just been offered... (Make I no bore una biko) lol.

Fast forward to the morning of this day. I woke up by 2:20AM to use the restroom. Sleep must have remained there because as I got back to my room and jumped on my bed, I didn't get of any of it for the rest of the morning.

While on the bed, I peeped my WhatsApp to see uplifting messages from this awesome gentleman, cmbagwu. He's been of immense help during this period of my preparation for the Interview; from giving me mock interviews to answering all my questions on WhatsApp. Big ups to you, man. Alright, cutting to the chase.

Left my place at Ikotun at about 4:30am. Got to the embassy an hour later. We were made to wait till around 6:15 or so. Security checks followed. That took about 15 minutes. Finally, I saw myself waiting in line to be interviewed. I was number six on the queue.

The window closest to the biometric screening point was the first to resume. A bulky Caucasian female who looked like she might be in her mid-fifties. She approved the first person she interviewed. She denied the second. The second sef no try at all; one girl like that. When she was asked, why do you want to advance to the Masters level, she replied somewhat incoherently, "I like school, education is passion, sorry, my passion, I like education and school". There and then, I silently began hailing all the beautiful minds I met on this thread.

Window 1 was the next to resume. The young man before me was instructed to head there. I was instructed to wait behind him. Dude was denied. Sad something. He wanted to attend a UN conference or run away from Naija, can't say. But I was next in line, standing in front of the VO of Asian descent. The following exchange took place.

VO: Good morning
Me: Good morning (in a uniquely fake american accent)
VO: Passport and I-20.
Me: {tried to hand them to him, instead of just dropping it for him to pick}
VO: Drop them
Me: Eh?
VO: {Called the attention of the CGI Lady} Did you forget to remind them to drop their documents and not hold on to them?
Me: {I felt my intestines form a knot in my stomach as the CGI lady gave me a guy-you-fall-my-hand look}
VO: Why are you going to the US?
Me: I'm going for a Master of Public Administration at East Tennessee State University, Johnson City, with a concentration in Economic Development and Planning.
VO: When did you finish?
Me: 2013
VO: Have you been to the US before?
Me: No. I've not had a reason to. {I was surprise here because after telling him I finished school 2013, I expected him to ask what I've been doing since then. He didn't}
VO: How will you fund your education at ETSU?
Me: I was awarded the International Merit Award by the school which would defray 50% of my tuition costs. My Uncle would foot the rest.
VO: What's your Uncle's name?
Me: Lagbaja Omolagbaja
VO: What does he do?
Me: He's a Marketing Manager with Shell
VO: How long has he been with Shell?
Me: Over 15 years
VO: Oh. {Typing away}. I'll be approving your visa. Bla bla bla

That is it o, my people. Here's my two cents on how to be successful at the interview. Make sure you answer your first question very very well and be as eloquent as possible.

Shout out to all those who contributed to making this possible. Drhopeful, Time2Smile, Scholastica16, happyday, tescoman90, texrem, LagosismyHome, Mayflowa, phdmscbsc, igbonerd, electronic, iCool, seeker88, Okusi, Topiipii, Christian129. The list goes on and on.

I hope this helps somebody or posterity. Thank you all!
congratulations tobe. Good to see your transcript

Funny enough this issue is just miss interpretation of words. I only stated those information not in anyway to deny your information which is true. Indeed getting a GA:TA is not easy but I only said that to explain tho i did not get the GA i got something else. Its not a quarelling stuff, i never insulted you nor say u were lying. I said something innocently and someone is insulting honestly i am pained because this was never my intention of insulting someone

then how does that dispute my findings? What's 50%? Can you afford the rest 50%. I'm talking about Graduate Assistantship with 100%tuition remittance and stipend you dey yarn dust.
wow really. Maturity is something I think is needed here. I only replied to the guy who asked about funding and told him what i got. Would it have been nice if I just kept quiet and not contribute when i have learnt a lot from people through this platform Now your telling me i am yarning dust for simply putting out my information. Secondly i did not give that statement to your own interest it was only to the person who asked. Please let's apply caution when talking to people here.

Hello guys, I need your advise on what to do as regards sending my transcript from University of Benin to ETSU where I intend doing my masters program.

I travelled from Lagos to Benin earlier this year to request for my B.Sc certificate as well as my transcript to help facilitate my application. I learnt application and processing of transcript is now done online via ET-Xchange ( an online transcript processing firm) . I registered on the site and filled the online form, ordered and paid for the transcript on March 22nd and it was clearly written it will take three weeks to apply and send the transcript to ETSU.
To my surprise , after three weeks, the status was still on "processing". I called their customer care and they seem not to know the reason for their incapability.
Now its already six weeks and no explanation from them.
Now I am really confused on what to do. Is there any other method I can use to send my official transcript from uniben to ETSU?
Those who have done it should please advice.
send me a PM. I finished from uniben and i have my transcript

Filled the DS-160 as well as paid the visa application fee. School resumption is Aug 10 and I have plans to schedule and interview next month is that too early? Also, I just passed out from nysc and currently unemployed can that affect my visa approval?
