its a two way situation here. i wasn't interested but i saw that you are confused. its not a matter of nigerian situation but truth be told i would advise you travel for your msc but choose a course that is in high demand ,do serious research. Bank work na cha cha oh. a lot of instability, saying from experience. the money might be much but do we really have education in nigeria thats the question?

True talk. There is high discrimination there.you cant match more than primary health if you eventually scale true. Infact canada will tell inspite of you schooling, there is no assurance of residency, In Usa even if you school there to even enter med school
They will tell to pay 4yrs in ewcrow, uk will tell you that after matching their citizens they will consider img. They should be deceiving the gullible masses. We should tell ourselves the truth e no easy anywhere.
Kabaka100:

Especially with that board exams wey dem go take like five times and still no go fit pass am. The residency issue na another wahala wey u no wan talk about

Na to pass, na matching for residency as an img, very very difficult. Even oyibo dem neva match.na factory work dey call them. Only small assurance was if they schooled there . Hw many nigerians can afford 20-37million naira a year as cost of attendance excluding 4yrs of non med school oh because to be a doctor, you must spend 8 to 9yrs.
rentAcock:
Na so. They think it is that easy. All the gra gra of getting a visa alone will discourage many. How about my church member who was a doctor in Nigeria? The guy sold his house and traveled to the US with his family over 16 years ago, only to hear that he has given up on his dream of practicing as a medical doctor in the states and has settled for menial jobs like nursing assistant. People are lured by the nice salary doctors earn overseas like how some doctors earn over $200,000 a year and with specialty that number balloons to over $300,000. What they don't realize is how difficult it is to get residency. So many American trained medical students are even finding it difficult to get residency let alone foreigners. Moreover, they sometimes require them to take some other exams or fufill a course requirement which many fail to accomplish.

If these doctors are threatening to leave the country, they should let them, after all, there are many students praying to gain admission for medicine to replace them.

bros you have said it all. Its not all about passing but matching for residency. Very very difficult, the only chance is if you school there and medicine in US and UK is mostly 8 to 9yrs. 4 yrs for undergrad and 4 to 5 yrs for med sch. How many nigerians fit afford $65000 to $100000 in tuition.

American cgpa is graded over 4

On the contrary.. it shows the child is low grade minded. If the school she could get admitted into had the best graduating student finishing with a CGPA of less that 4; a weak Second Class Upper.. need i say more?
