Scriptural reference for the mission as given by Jesus Christ can be found written of in the 4 Gospels - Matthew , Mark, Luke and John. There the New Covenant Law of God, Jesus Christ, in the Kingdom of God is written of in details for those who really want to know the Truth.

In there, you learn that Jesus Christ never instructed any man to build Him kingdoms in this world or in his name. Even where His Church is concerned, Jesus Christ declared in Matthew 16 that He will build His own Church- by His hands - not the hands of men even the ones you call your pastors and Mog.

In the Gospels, you find written that Jesus Christ alone is Master/Head, Teacher, Shepherd, sole Leader/Authority over each and every individual who belongs to Him. No man is called to lead or teach anyone who belongs to Him because God alone is the only authority and administrator of His Church. It is all written right there in the Gospels for those who sincerely yearn for Truth, available in public domain for almost 400 years too.

Well, you have a point but I have other view about this based on the word of Jesus you highlighted above that Jesus said He will build His church. I'm curious, Jesus is no more here, is he going to come back and build the church or he committed it to peoples hand. The last time I checked, he manifested Himself to Paul the Apostle Himself on his way to Damascus and Paul established many churches, is that not Jesus building churches through men? What about Peter and the rest.

Yes, ignorance is most definitely the reason why many so-called Christians don't know Jesus Christ and the actual mission that He gave His followers apart from what they see in today's world. Way too many are convinced that any lie they are fed by their pastors amounts to the Truth of Jesus Christ - a real shame.

I think those that know should educate us to be really sure that they know, using scriptural backings because many think they really know but the reverse is the case.

The Presidency, today on Monday stated that the 43 farmers that were killed by Boko Haram on Saturday did not have military clearance to be on the rice farms when the attack happened.

The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, said this in an interview with the BBC on Monday.

He said while not blaming the victims for the incident, the truth must be said.

Shehu said, “The government is sad that this tragic incident has happened. 43 or thereabout of innocent farm workers, most of them had their throats slit by a heartless band of terrorists. People need to know what it is like in the Lake Chad Basin area.

“Much of those areas have been liberated from Boko Haram terrorists but there are a number of spaces that have not been cleared for the return of villagers who have been displaced. So, ideally, all of these places ought to pass the test of military clearances before farmers or settlers resume activities on those fields.”

When asked if he was not blaming the farmers for going to the area, Shehu responded, “Not exactly but the truth has to be said. Was there any clearance by the military which is in total control of those areas? Did anybody ask to resume activity? I have been told by the military leaders that they had not been so advised and certainly, therefore, it was a window that the terrorists exploited.”

The President’s spokesman said terrorists had planted land mines in several places in Borno State and nobody ought to go to these places until the military has cleared such places.

He added, “The military is not present in every inch of space in that area. Even if the people are willing to go back, a lot of those areas have been mined and mine clearance needs to be carried out and those areas must be cast as being ok for human habitation or agricultural activity.”
