HELP IS NEEDED URGENTLY. I am having a bad day. I recently bought a car and later found out that thet put I a 10pin gear inside 13 pin gear. My issue is.. can anyrhing be done to make the drive feel like a 13 gear? I also notice that if I put the car o ln drive. I have to put my legs on the brake pedal unless the car will move forward. And please what is the cost of a 13 pin gear for toyota camry v6 engine. Can my 10pin gear plus cash be swapped for a 13 pin?

IS IT NOT NORMAL FOR cars to move while in drive?

Yes. it can be used for uber. fuel efficient, ice cold ac etc. you can even install correct gbedu et all.. . .

just bear in mind that the AC and gbedu is for your own personal enjoyment because riders will rate you low because of that car and uber will deactivate you before you can say Okitam, and you are back to square one on this thread, reading only comments. grin

You can start stand up comedy.

But why most I sell the vehicle if I still need to buy another vehicle? Why can't I just use this Rx330 for the uber personally

Rx 330 is 3.3 litre V6 engine. You spend more on fuel
Rx is Lexus a luxury Toyota brand, maintenance is super expensive.
But since you just want to use it to make quick money you can try it.
May God give you another job but in if you want to do uber business sell your RX330 and buy a Corolla and 407

Be careful with artisans.
One of my cars had electrical issues and my rewire wrote a list of things to be bought. To cut the long story sort, out of 70k I told him I will give him 65k. I gave him 60 advance payment and 5k upon completion and must be satisfied. He removed the faulty parts (my thumbstart had issues, alternator and co) and said he would take take them to ladipo to get the exact type. I codedly marked some of the parts he took. He went to the market, got back and wanted to start installing the supposedly new parts he bought. I got there just in time only to realize that he ended up not buying most our parts.
Be careful, always make out time to inspect whatsoever is bin replaced in your car as these artisans gat a way of deceiving people especially if u are the type tgsf dot inspect whatever they do.
Imagine my mechanic telling me to buy two power steering oil, I bought just one, stayed with him until he was done and I still had a handsome amount of oil left.

Create time and Stay with your Mechanic even gashush

Simple as this, I get more of offline trips cos of my luxury car and am telling you that's what give me the courage to buy a corolla because I was making good money even with the high fuel consumption. If you think you can do it then do it. With my experience now, if I deceive to use a luxury car for UBER I'd make more than am making now with corolla.

you mean decide?

you are killing yourself gradually. you are killing your acceptance rate. this is not smart as you erroneously think. you will soon be deactivated for low acceptance rate.

pele o

i doubt if Uber deactivate for low confirmation thats what its called (not acceptance), they deactivate for high cancellation rate. Uber deactivate for confirming a trip then cancel

Your account has been deactivated

Due to a high rate of canceled trips, your partner account has been deactivated. We've previously notified you about your higher than average rate of cancellations.

This means you cannot go on the Uber platform to receive or accept trip requests.

When a partner has a cancellation rate that is higher than the average of other driver-partners in the city, Uber may deactivate this partner's account.

We understand that account deactivation can be a frustrating experience. The decision to deactivate a driver-partner's account is made because riders rely on driver-partners to complete accepted trip requests. Excessive cancellations make it difficult for nearby riders to reliably request and receive rides, and can also result in more inconvenient requests for other driver-partners. This has a negative impact on the functionality of the Uber platform.

Roughly 2 days in the business so far, from my little experience, if a rider's rating is low I will allow the request to wash down the drain. If every driver can be doing that then those sassy lowlife oloshos will learn the hard way how to be polite.

how do i see my rating

I was driving a Lexus RX330 for UBER when I started and to step up he came I bought a 2010 Corolla in July and I can tel you have saved 1m as at last week.
I service my car every 2500 miles ,I make sure I keep my car in very good condition. I don't drive on bad roads like Egbeda, Aguda, some arts of lekki. I work from 8am - 5pm. Don't let anybody discourage you, you are not a failure! Someone will tell me he owns his car but if I should be on HP today, I will do it the same way. Do what is best for you.

It is your car and consciously you take extra care of the car while driving
last month is used Uber. The car was a camry 2010 and was very neat. the driver was extra careful i had to ask him why he driving that way. His response was "its my car and my only source of income what do i gain if compete with others on the road including danfo drivers and damage my car" Some drivers may drive your car like its their own but many wont. i can never put anything above 2007 on uber or taxify in Nigeria.
my reasons are these.
BAD roads.
bad drivers
bad mechanics
cheap rates

the airconditioning of a toyota corrola 2012 uses a variable displacement compressor.

If you are going to replace it with the stock setup, only compressor will cost 150,000.

Getting a tokumbor VDC is not an option, it will fail.

Other option is to instal a hillux 2008_15 compressor it is fixed displacemnt. Complete package for that will set you back over 70k

Question is wat the hell did they do? grin

What do you mean by stock?

Imagine having to change Alternator engine or transmission in such vehicles

And why are you so sure tokunbo will fail?
