So many people fell ill, couldn’t afford health care and they died .. All these because o useless government policies.. Same government officials will travel abroad for any little body pain, with the taxes you pay directly and indirectly o.. I just wish Nigeria will unite ,but that I know is impossible.. Some don declear Oro festival already That's what I tell them. If the death is not by soldier bullet it will still be by herdsmen or insecurity or unaffordable drugs or failed electricity in hospital emergency or because goods cant be afforded due to high exchange rate so why not just go out and protest. |

It was always like this among the OYINBOS too until NATURE came and do its work.
TYRANTS and powerful people don't back down easily, they always sees the masses as ants which should be stepped on and crushed if you dare challenge them. Let me not deceive you, Power is very sweet and intoxicating. Go and read up about human beings and be fufilled. Very wise post. Learnt a lot from this and will definitely be referring to it. Satan told Adam and Eve: "And you will be like God" when they eat the fruit in the garden of Eden. That's why up to today men see themselves as god with any small power they hv. The family will mourn them and curse the day the choose to be foolish
EndSars comes to mind At the end of the day it's all about who is most affected. The poor and hungry will come out and protest and don't mind getting killed because even if they are not killed by bullets they would be killed by hunger or security or bandits anyway and it's still the same death. I read of a family eating grass meant for animals and Maggi in the North. The middle class which no longer exists some of them who hv become poor will come out to protest too. Only the rich or those that are still comfortable will stay in their house. You talk of family some are in IDP camps some family members hv been killed by insecurity. |

Let them try it, so far this protest is peaceful and the government tries any rubbish to set the protesters up they will see the mother of all protests.
Endsars will be child's play. This time it's the government officials (from local government to federal) that will feel the wrath of the citizenry.

Are there no puppet regimes outside Africa?
Many people in Bangladesh, India, Brazil, Sri Lanka etc, regard their governments as puppet regimes of the west.
But they haven’t said it’s because of their skin colour, so why do you have to make every problem Africans have, a problem of their skin colour?
It’s because you’re brainwashed and programmed to feel racially inferior, and that means you are mentally sick.
You can NEVER develop as a people from a position of self-imposed racial inferiority.
You MUST understand that you are the EQUAL of every race on Earth, and THEN act on that belief. I will address you later |

Tellmeastory: YOU ARE SICK IN THE HEAD.
Name the Industries the colonialists built.
Name the infrastructure they built apart from the 2 rotten rail lines they built from north to south to siphon our resources.
Name the power plants they built.
Are you aware that Nigeria’s first power plant was Kainji Dam, commissioned in 1964 by Prime Minister Tafawa Balewa?
Are you aware that prior to that, the British invaders were using imported industrial generators which they used to power just the GRAs they were living in?
So they ruled you and exported your resources for a century, and built NO POWER PLANT AND NO UNIVERSITY, NO MAJOR HOSPITAL, NO EXPRESSWAYS, NO FLYOVERS, NO MALLS, NO AIRPORTS, NO STADIUMS, NOTHING.
Why?
BECAUSE THEY CAME TO STEAL, NOT TO BUILD.
And where our leaders today might steal 20 to 30% of our budget, THE BRITISH STOLE 97%.
THAT IS WHY YOUR GRANDPARENTS WERE STARK BAREFOOT ILLITERATE VILLAGE PEASANTS.
Now run along, grow a brain, and quit being a happy, dumbass slave to European colonisers. The white man can do nothing in Africa without black enablers. Even today african leaders agree to become western puppets. Blacks! |

Politics › Re: Shelve Protest, Give Me More Time: Tinubu begs youths amid Aug planned protest by BigBashiru: 5:25pm On Jul 23, 2024 |
GreatKingg: In as much as I support the reform being carried out by this administration, I don't think it is wise enough to tell the citizens not to protest peacefully. Peaceful protest is part and parcel of democracy - which we currently practice.
Moreover, Tinubu and his goons protested against GEJ. If I'm not mistaken, it seems they even led the protest, not just a regular protester. They now sound more like hypocrites - urging and begging people not to protest peacefully.
Now, my only problem is Nigerians don't know how to protest peacefully. It is difficult for a peaceful protest not to be hijacked by criminals in Nigeria. That is my only fear in this.
The administration should not be afraid of a peaceful protest. But the fear of the mayhem(s) that has always followed the so-called peaceful protests in Nigeria is scary. A lot of criminals are waiting by the corner to unleash mayhem on people and businesses, all in disguise of protest.
All in all, the government should communicate clearly with its citizens, assist the poor and the needy in this difficult period of the reforms, and more importantly, cut down on government cost.
I was so disturbed and concerned when news broke the other day that the Nigerian government released N90 billion to subsidize the cost of the 2024 Hajj pilgrimage for citizens. This is not only wasteful, but so unreasonable in a country where over 50% of its citizens live below the poverty line. The government really erred on this. Imagine what that amount could have provided for each family in this difficult period.
But on a second note, Nigeria is a very religious country. The subsequent government tries to assuage different religious groups so as not to be labeled anti-christian/anti-muslim. At the end of the day, we (both citizens and leaders) are our own problem.
As I have always maintained, we need re-orientation as a nation. Reforms must always hv early signs of success as a sign that will persuade ppl to wait. |

The worst are those who intentionally elect incompetent people into power just because of tribe and religion. Things will get better if each region manage themselves. Just like in middle east, there are some countries that support radicalism while others don't. Imagine joining a radical people with none radical people how will they grow? I doubt if things will change, people are getting more wicked as the day goes. For example, fraternity was set up in higher institutions just for socialization and to fight for student rights. But it degenerated to a deadly situation. It seems humans rather than making effort to be good are focus on who can be more wicked. All these reflect in how things work in the country. Our mindset needs to change. Tinubu was not elected. The election was rigged. |

The werey Protester called Tinubu organized and led protesters into the streets against IBB in the 90s and then led protest against Jonathan govt in the 2011s. Now he is afraid of protest against his useless incompetent govt. The protest must hold against his govt so he also gets a dose of what he dished out.
