Politics / Re: Protests: President Tinubu Will Address Nigerians On Sunday by BigBashiru: 9:08pm On Aug 03
Staywithbina:

I already know What the speech will be like ,first he will try his best to show Nigerians he has no sympathy for them ,secondly he will now tell us we have to brace hard for more policies to come and lastly he will now compare Nigeria with some yeye smelling country and tell you why you and reason you should be suffering, then akpabio the next day will make a stupid joke of Nigerians ,

He will not admit he made a mistake with "subsidy is gone". He will say its a short period of suffering before things turn around and that you should "exercise patience" - I hate that phrase.

Lol... You mean his recorded and highly edited speech will be televised on Sunday! grin

Seems it's forbidden for this nation's president to hold a Live Press Conference.

It would havebeen great if journalists who covered the protest were allowed to ask him questions.
Politics / Re: Protests: President Tinubu Will Address Nigerians On Sunday by BigBashiru: 8:46pm On Aug 03
I wonder if he has woken up by that 7am. Biden is older than Tinubu yet talks to people live. The mf rigged his way in and is probably going to deliver pre-recorded messages.

shocked

So he waited for HE Peter Obi to asked him to address the nation before he can make a move. Peter Obi impact is unmatched abeg.

However, they Should tell us the truth at once because we're not as dûmbed as his zombie supporters. Simple, the editing, cut and cropped video of iragbiji dullàrd addressing the nation will be ready on Sunday, currently he's still acting based on the script.

Rumor has it that he's tormenting the crew working with him because of his high level dementia. He easily forgot what they asked him to say.

Similarly Tinubu just speaking big English filled with "we will", future tense and "exercise patience" without any deadline dates will not work. Nigerians should stand up for their rights.

What would he gain?

Isn't it more surprising that the 3 domestic staff could in one week of working together already plan to kill their boss?

It's crazy!

Nigerians are criminally minded.

cut across all major markets and street traders

If not then it's just a waste of time as usual.

And the protocol to get the discount will be so long and long winded that it wont be worth pursuing it.

When will Nigerians learn the antics of the SE.

This was how Azikiwe positioned his people for a bloody ethnic cleansing they called a coup in January 1966. Same Azikiwe sneaked out of the country just before the coup leaving his friends from other regions to be massacred

CharlyBoy and his cohorts gaslighted the country to a protest that is already turning violent and destructive only for him to run away and hide in a corner and watch the country burn.

The most treacherous people are SE

The international community does not see igbo hausa or yoruba, they see blacks. You are a black man.

Many people think things cost globally is the issue, but in other countries, government cut their expenses, money is on ground to get what u want if u are working. Work is available if u are ready to work, but reverse is d case of Nigeria. Things are cost, no money to get those things, people are ready to work, but where is the work. The little one people are managing to survive, management are treating them anyhow. Even white people will came, invest, have good plans for workers, yet, Nigerians heading those organization will make sure life is difficult for workers with believe that if u don't work, another person will be employ when they know that we don't have good government. Case study, Yale factory for Ibadan. What is the governor do about the investigation of d issue, rather, things went back to normal without head roll. People are suffering and yet, smiling. Even online warriors, will get to one corner and be crying. They know what they are doing is wrong, but they have no option because that's where they see their daily bread. God will safe this country.

There is work in Nigeria just that blacks are evil and lazy. 3 domestic staff killed their boss in ikoyi this week and stole her belongings. These ones will later be shouting no work. What happened to begging the woman for money? Blacks!!!

That was a blunder in statement by Peter obi

To a certain degree yes a blunder i agree but depending on how you see it tactically its strategic. It says to his corrupt opponents : "i have now declared him president". Now they can leave him alone

the man has so much pride, and that pride might become his undoing. He underestimates what hunger and nigerians can do. If hardship continues, the next set of protest may be organic and bad.

Very true. Proverbs in the Holy Bible makes us understand that pride goeth before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall. We saw this play out when he is the president of ecowas. He thought mali, niger, burkina are his servants. Ge said he will use force against them if they remain "recalcitrant". All 3 have pulled out of ecowas.

He is a seasoned politician who lives within the law irrespective if it dosent favour him I like Ur pay master a common forger 🤡! history will justify him

Exactly. Peter Obi has already calculated and seen that the system is corrupt. So he has acceded to their corruption for now. What i like most about Peter Obi is that he is focused only on results delivery and on the betterment of Nigeria whether he is president or not while the current druggie occupier just wants the seat just for the sake lf having it.

Ex VP Osinbajo has always been my preferred candidate. cool

Isnt it obvious that Peter Obi is a very wise man? He doesnt want friction with the corrupt ruling class. As he has said befoee becoming president isnt do or die affair for him. He is a very wise man who understands this world

Tinubu should just open his mouth and say "Subsidy is Gone Back" and the protests will end.
Nigeria is rich enough to subsidise fuel at ₦200 per litre.

Then slash into half all salaries and allowances of Senators, House of Reps, Govs, and all top Govt officials and cut down on Govt wastages.
Then scrap either Senate or House of Rep.
Then scrap all those many unproductive Govt agencies.
Then scrap all those many useless SA's and PA's.
...

Exactly. Governance isn't hard. The issue now is if he Says subsidy is back it will be obvious he didn't hv a plan + didn't know what he was doing. Also his ego won't let him

An Executive for that matter with wife and potentially, grown up children. What a disgrace!!! His career just ended like that. He would be full of regret. Executives and senior personnel always take advantage of pretty secretaries, office assistants, delivery ladies, lower cadre pretty ladies and even cleaners. One GM then was lashing a cleaner. Cleaners usually came on time during my time and the man also came to work on time, daily. But I guess theirs were mutual as the lady in question was benefiting. She was even later staffed as a contractor with the company.

Men gravitate towards young women. They hv the youthful exuberance and invoke lust. Probably the wife of the executive was an oldie and him Don see young woman. Nelson Mandela remarried a young babe with fresh skin.

It's a harsh reality but it's the truth.

The president, Senate, and House of rep members including the judiciary will be so ashamed right now.

Imagine other presidents in other countries seeing what's happening in Nigeria.

Then when our president goes to the World Summit, he will be so shy because of what's been happening.

That's why they don't like protest and all that.

Imagine you are in the UK, and a lecturer used Nigeria as a case study

Oh

Our president needs to select serious and hardworking ministers; the ones who will see that every process goes well.

Protests work because it is embarrassing to who the protest is directed at.

Finally, some good news for the people! This is a much-needed initiative to help cushion the effects of inflation on our families. If only they could ensure that the quality matches the price, then we would really be cooking with gas! Let's hope the distribution is transparent and reaches the right hands.

No it's degrading. When last did you hear Biden sends 5 trucks of rice to Texas. Are the people goats or pigs on a farm to be thrown animal feeds (the rice)..

Never knew the overhyped Tinubu was this foolish

That’s his kind of politics he held Lagosians on hostage

Share money share rice and they forget their sorrow

How does sharing rice that won’t last two days be a solution to permanent hunger

Why not open boarders remove unnecessary taxation reduce fuel price and let Nigerians fend for themselves

The maggot of a president is sharing rice without stew

I am of the opinion that sharing rice is not only degrading but also unhealthy (too much starch carbs = diabetes)

Sharing rice makes human beings look like animals that trucks will come and throw bags of rice at as if the people are goats/ pigs in a farm.
