Usually runners, if you ever hear 10pips SL and 200 target. Very rare but happens. Can you spot a few on the chart??

Only the bad traders say news like this is not relevant... it will set policy for the next year, its what is causing it to go up now as most expect the base or hawkish case to happen and are pricing it in.

I was long and only used the dips to buy more, but since i`m not a fortune teller i close all the longs in profit so if it goes to 1.20+ i will be happy with the longs left, might add more after the news, while if it crashes for some reason(dovish scenario) i will be fine with letting it go lower to add from there.

If you are a day trader where 100-150 pips can hurt your account, i`d close everything for the news or its a gamble, could spike and most (good, regulated) brokers don`t guarantee the stops if it spikes.

Even if its positive, given the hype.... have seen in the past it going 100 pips in both directions before deciding, so trade it with tight stop losses at your own risk... the only way that would work is if they say literally word for word what is expected, then it should not spike as much.

Ps: Basic and good info to get anybody started on FX, the more experience have different method to enter market usually.

pairs under my watch gbpjpy selling, usdjpy selling, eurusd buying, btcusd selling. the most trusted pair here is gbpjpy following by usdjpy and the last eurusd. all the above pairs is candlestick, while the btcusd is resistance. am still learning any of this pairs u know will not work out share to my understanding thanks for ur help.

okay, let's go there. i will be using the candlesticks as example because of how easy they are, doji,hammer head, engulfing etc. all this candlesticks have one or two pattern in which you will identify them with ease. but in this case of HH,HL,LL,LH. they are given me tough time to understand it, just like supply and demand i have try to look if i can identify those areas but can't. but in the case of support and resistance i can identify S and R with ease.
