obailala: WHat on earth are you talking about?... That trucks are not important and we should concentrate on trains?... And you even get likes for this?
UK which has some of the best rail networks still has about the highest number of truck tymanufacturing plants in the world. I find it hard to understand your logic, do you think trains can replace trucks?.... Can a train do what trucks can do?... I suppose if you have 1000 manufacturing houses and large retail outlets in a state or a whole region, you expect a railway to branch into each one of them? Are u stupid or r u just pretending to be? These trucks are massive and put a lot of pressure on our already terrible roads which were ruined by the same kind of trucks in the first place. We need light trucks that carry smaller loads not these ones that weigh several tons |

Very unfortunate. This shows that: 1. He has no interest in investing in the rail which means he will lobby to ground the rail which Goodluck Jonathan struggled to resuscitate. 2. Nigerian roads are doomed. No country's roads (least of all Nigerian) can survive the pounding they will get from this number of trucks. So more money goes into road rehabilitation which is only a temporary solution to a permanent problem. Nigerians should NOT laud a truck production company. Not at this time in our national development. RAIL should be the focus now. |

If Magu is guilty of anything, it would be overzealousness and high-handedness. But corruption? I don't think so. Something tells me Abba Kyari has a hand in his travails. The chief of staff who is also a member of the board of NNPC and whose company Sahara Rnergy has been indicted for corruption by the EFCC but still got an oil lifting contract. |

Ranching. That is the only solution to this menace. The Fulanis will have to change from their nomadic ways and learn to sit their butts in one place and rear their cows. As long as their cows keep moving around they will continue to encroach on other people's property. And if it is true that those two Fulanis were killed, then the culprits should face the full wrath of the law. |

fiizznation: Junky journalism. If you want to know the whereabouts of the VP, why don't you take your stupid self to the state house and look for him there. What is difficult in this? Aren't the vanguard guys journalists again?
I don't get. This is the same type of junky reportage I read here yesterday that some monies were unremitted by NNPC. I went through the junky article twice to see if I could see some credible names behind the expose, but wha'la, what kept coming up was "the group". Smh It's a new year brother. Your number one new year resolution should be to improve your grammar. It's "junk journalism" and not "junky journalism" (like seriously WTH?) And it's "voila" and not "wha'la" You're welcome and a happy new year to you. |

How can anyone in their right mind do this to a child. Just look at how she is holding tight onto that police officer.
It really should not hurt to be a child. |

May their souls rest in peace.
This should be a lesson to others to make sure they have smoke detectors installed in their houses. It is not a luxury. It could save your life. It is compulsory to have one installed in a lot of western countries.
On a lighter note, what is it with Bayelsa politicians' children and Dubai schools? |

Doesn't matter what she did. I hope they know that she is untouchable just like the wives of all past leaders including Turai Yar'aduau who I know transferred billions of dollars to Dubai through a particular BDC operator before and after her husband's death. I supported this man to be president but unfortunately he has turned his previously acclaimed anti-graft war into a witch-hunting spree. Buhari should focus on getting our economy out of the doldrums. No straight-thinking Nigerian takes his anti-corruption war serious anymore. |

Lol. Like they say, "who no go no go know"
It's very simple. If you don't know someone close to the minister or with influence over him then you can forget about getting valuable land in a short time.
Even in the current administration, there is already a jostle for land. And this goes all the way to the TOP men in this administration. FACT.
The above process is just formality.
There are 3 rules for success in Abuja 1. Meet people 2. Meet people 3. Meet people
Get out of your house and network. |
