PoliticsRe: Cynicism Trails Ogoni Cleanup After Ceremonial Flag Off by bigboss80s(m): 10:57pm On Jun 26, 2016
Well obviously it was political. The government was in shock after the first wave of attacks by NDA and felt they needed to do something immediately to look competent.

I believe Buhari intends to proceed with the clean up but the flag off was clearly rushed.

That said people should give him the benefit of doubt and a little more time and support.

Buhari is a man of his words.
PoliticsRe: We Will Ensure Strict Enforcement Of Cattle Grazing Law - Ortom by bigboss80s(m):
What a foool .
Your people are getting killed on an almost daily basis you slowpoke.

Insist on ranches. Let them buy land and build ranches as any other businessman would.

Don't be a coward!
InvestmentAbuja: Joint Venture Land For Development (build On My Land And Share Profit) by bigboss80s(op):
This is an opportunity for someone who would like to invest in property in Abuja(Joint Venture)

I have a Residential land in Kaura District (Games Village area) measuring about 2400sqm.
The plot is directly beside the expressway and directly opposite Sun City Estate.

The land is Buildable. Area is developed.

The plan is simple: I have the land, the other party develops it (whether building terrace houses, blocks of flats, etc) and we share the profits(either by dividing the property or money realised after sales).

The other option is outright purchase of the land. But that would be the last resort.

Interested parties should send me a DM and I will respond with contact details.

PoliticsRe: DSS Arrests Azubuike Ihejirika by bigboss80s(m): 2:30pm On Jun 22, 2016
If this is true then he must have been really foolish to come back to Nigeria. He should have remained in China or wherever he was hiding.
He is the No. 1 culprit of the $2.1b arms deal. He is going a way for a very long time.

PoliticsRe: See Photo Of Muhammadu Buhari As A Secondary School Student In 1958 by bigboss80s(m): 5:35pm On Jun 13, 2016
Well first off this raises more questions than it answers.

What school is this?
Who was the principal?
Who were his teachers? ETC

This is a picture of him in the secondary school attire of that era. So we know he attended a secondary school.

Unfortunately that doesn't tell us he wrote his WASC exam or had a result.

But at least this should slightly shame those who claim he is a NEPA bill-wielding illiterate.

PoliticsRe: Support The Not Too Young To Rule Bill by bigboss80s(m): 4:30am On Jun 08, 2016
We should absolutely support this.

It is one of the ways we can actually make a change as opposed to just sitting at home and typing form our phones.

We need more young people in government. Fresh people, fresh ideas. Well travelled, intelligent young minds not recycled, old-fashioned politicians with their obsolete ideas and mannerisms.

PoliticsRe: Sack any worker and lose your License FG tells Firms by bigboss80s(m): 9:40pm On Jun 07, 2016
How can this government revoke the license of a company for sacking workers?
These people are just beginning to seem clueless on how to run a country for goodness' sake.
First they enforce an artificial fx policy, now it's forcing institutions not to lay off staff.
Why all this interference?
If you don't want them to lay people off, then provide a favourable economic atmosphere for them.
Smh!

IslamRe: Qur'anic Teaching About The Punishment For Blasphemy(pics) by bigboss80s(m): 5:51pm On Jun 03, 2016
If there were more imams (and Emirs) like this there might be much less violence.

Those who carry out these heinous crimes can neither read nor write.
All they know is "Mallam said..."

For me what is most important is that those who killed the woman must be found and face the full wrath of the law.

The government should enforce the preaching of peace in all religious gatherings. It should be law in a country like Nigeria.

PoliticsRe: Nigerian Woman Beheaded In Kano Over Blasphemy by bigboss80s(m): 6:10am On Jun 03, 2016
If this is true her husband should take up the case and insist on the prosecution of the perpetrators.

He must use the social media and international news outlets. If he keeps silent the Govt will sweep it under the rug. Otis part of their passive endorsement of subtly aggressive islamisation.

The embarrassment for both the state and federal governments will force them to condemn the act and fish out the criminals.
PoliticsRe: "SPDC Forcado 48 Exportline Bombed At 3am" - Niger Delta Avengers by bigboss80s(m): 5:55am On Jun 03, 2016
This whole NDA issue is a lesson to the current Govt that not everything can be achieved by brute force and gra-gra.

Now it seems the NDA are just giving impossible demands to excuse their continued violence in that region.

PoliticsRe: Tompolo's Letter To Niger Delta Avengers by bigboss80s(m): 11:44am On May 30, 2016
The government seems to be using a carrot and stick approach.
In the end, the only solution is dialogue. The problem is that right now these people are asking for the impossible ie their own republic and the release of Nnamdi Kanu.
The government must handle this one carefully since it brought this upon itself.
They should have maintained the status quo since they know that we don't have the capability to take on the militants.
PoliticsRe: Why Buhari Did Not Release Details Of Stolen Asset Recovered– Lai Mohammed by bigboss80s(m): 9:56pm On May 29, 2016
Excuses and more excuses. Didn't he know about legal pitfalls before promising that he would name and shame looters?
That's one of this administration's biggest problems, reneging on promises.
Nigerians are getting impatient and irritated.
PoliticsRe: PUNCH Newspaper Rates President Buhari's 1yr In Office by bigboss80s(m): 7:42am On May 29, 2016
I thought PUNCH was a pro-APC media outfit.
It's beginning to seem like APC was really unprepared for power.
The plummeting oil price does not help their case.
I dont envy Buhari i'm sure he doesn't envy himself.
The president has now seen that Nigeria is not as easy to run as he thought when he was criticising Jonathan.

Buhari needs to first accept responsibility and stop blaming past administrations. We elected him to fix their mistakes.

Next, he must put together a competent, credible economic team that would be respected. Unfortunately this present minister of finance has been reduced to a paymaster when she should be letting us all know the economic direction of the country under this administration.

The government is too focused on corruption that it has forgotten that it's main job is to cater for the citizens. Unfortunately even though the war on corruption has received so much media attention, we have seen few, if any, convictions.

To run a country you don't have to be the best at everything. You just need to have the best people in your team. Buhari's much anticipated team ended up being a compensation party for allies and friends.

PropertiesRe: Top 6 Reasons Why Real Estate In Banana Island Is The Most Expensive When Compar by bigboss80s(m):
Did u just compare Banana Island to upscale areas in France? Those places are not just expensive because of good-looking buildings. These are fully developed and truly secure neighbourhoods not just cute buildings with crime-ridden, nasty looking surroundings. We still haven't grasped the idea of true development in this country and until we do we should not even attempt to compare ourselves to developed countries. We are light years behind them.

So he really thinks this is the perfect time to make such an inflammatory statement. Well it's not even inflammatory. He is just a fool.

PoliticsRe: Nine Key Milestones In President Buhari’s First Year: Daily Trust by bigboss80s(m): 8:15am On May 27, 2016

While the writer made many salient points, right now many Nigerians are going through a very hard time and I doubt they would be as optimistic as the writer of this piece.
PoliticsRe: Metuh: Family Ready To Refund N400m by bigboss80s(m): 7:46am On May 27, 2016
I think the reason they might still not release him even after he pays the 400m is that the EFCC believes he took more.
Nevertheless we know of a Buhari associate who was let off the hook after returning part of his loot. I think Metuh should be granted the same courtesy.
I don't think the government has the resources to chase every case to its logical end.
Let's get back the money, put it to good use and find ways of preventing future acts of corruption.

Mozambique,Niger,Thaiti,Afghanistan,Haiti and Chad. Buhari is working
We should support a more unified Africa as this will result in a stronger front with which we can face the West and reject any attempted acts of subtle sabotage, economic or otherwise.
It will also entrench human development among African nations.
There are many benefits.
