This is an important and symbolic statue.
However I wish it was cast in copper instead of another metal which has been painted.
Statues should be made to last forever without need for constant refurbishment. |

9jvirgin: In another sane clime, I had appendicitis surgery of $40,000 done without the hospital asking for a dime. I was operated upon and fed for 3 days without paying a dime. Meanwhile, Rivers State is worst than the dreaded Columbian and Mexican cities. The crimes committed against humanity in Rivers State has not been recorded anywhere in the world. Now I see why the white people held on to apartheid, we are not fit mentally to handle a country of our own. I'm glad you said in sane climes. Because Nigeria is not a "sane." Place. The reason that hospital attended to you is because they are endowed by a foundation and they actually have a portion of their budget dedicated to charity if you can call it that. How many private hospitals in Nigeria are endowed by large organizations? And before you get all excited I have worked in the top hospitals in the US, UK and the Netherlands so I have a good idea how healthcare in developed countries works. Listen to yourself. An appendectomy costs $40,000. The same surgery costs N40,000 in Nigeria and doctors are expected to give the same or a similar level of care! Think man! Think! Nigerian doctors and nurses are doing their best with what is available. They should be applauded! |

This is a very dangerous period.
You can lose your life over a phone or bag.
No one should risk their lives or the lives of their family members by driving around without protection.
Reinforce your car windows to make them virtually unbreakable. They cannot be broken even with a sledge hammer, massive stone, etc. at reasonable prices.
NB: this is not my personal business. They reinforced my windows and made my tires resistant to punctures and even gunfire. I am posting this because there is a rise in car robberies.

You do not need a gun to deter attackers.
What you need is reinforced windows. A material is applied to your windows that makes it virtually unbreakable, even with a massive stone or sledge hammer.
Call this numbers to get your windows reinforced and your tires bulletproof(and puncture proof).

coluka: Funny thing is some of these people that were killed were among those celebrating the murder of innocent unarmed Biafrans in the south east. When will Christians in Nigeria stand with one voice to condemn the incessant killing of Christians in this country. When it happens to fellow Christians in the east or south south, you will see Northern and south west Christians celebrating the murder of their fellow Christians just because they are from another tribe. Christians in Nigeria are some of the most foolish Christians I've ever seen. The Buhari government with their Jan.jaweed army in collaboration with these Fulani herdsmen are sthealthly carrying out a jihad against Christians in this country and the same Christians especially those from The southwest are busy playing tribal politics and celebrating the murder of their fellow Christians. Why do you think the Buhari government is refusing to term these herdsmen as terrorists? The governor of Kaduna rather went to pay them some money. The same government is quick to declare unarmed Biafran agitators as terrorists but these armed murderous herdsmen are just mere criminals. Christians in this country can continue allowing themselves to be divided by tribe and politics while their enemies with one mind continue to wipe them out systematically. This is a bloody lie |

Foreign Affairs › Re: Countries With The Most Debt In The World by bigboss80s(m): 6:35am On Oct 09, 2017 |
The more developed the country, the higher the debt. This is why I just smile whenever I hear someone whining about how Nigeria is in debt etc.
As long as the funds are directed towards capital projects there is nothing wrong with debt. The US has an 18 trillion dollar debt. No developed country isn't in debt.
Oil will never solve Nigeria's problem. Also chasing corrupt people up and down can and will never work. People are not corrupt because they are insane.
In Nigeria there is a NEED to be corrupt and do even if the punishment is death by hanging people will still steal. The two solutions are
1. Tax - a poor tax system is the bane of any nation and a robust one is a blessing to a country. Find out about tax in the world most developed and least developed countries. There is no developed country without a proper tax system and there is no underdeveloped country with a fully functional tax system.
2. Heavy capital expenditure with fund sourced from other countries or international organizations. This is how every single developed country got to where they are. No country event has the funds that it NEEDS. It will always be necessary to borrow funds. It's simple: If you have enough, then you are not doing enough. |
