What are you talking about the pass and creativity ain't coming? The truth is that Darwin Nunez is super fast with stamina but he's a subpar striker. Against City, he had 1v1 Ederson, perfect angle on his right foot, tried to curl I believe and he just passed the ball into Ederson's hands. I had never witnessed such incompetence. If Salah hadn't scored, we'd have lost 2 points.

A creative midfielder is not going to turn Darwin Nunez into Ronaldo overnight. He still has a lot to learn and healthy criticism will get him there.

Tactically, what Liverpool needs is not a creative midfielder. What it needs is 2 young and agile box to box midfielders like Goretzka or Hendo 5 years ago and a young CDM, nothing anchorman like Fabinho but an actual destroyer like Fernandinho, a young one.

This will give TAA and Robbo freedom up front like they use to have as they're covered properly by the box to box CM instead of TAA and Robbo crossing from halfway line because it's small leg Elliot and tiny Thiago that's their cover.

How many teams can you name that depend on left back and right back to provide assistance for the team strikers?

I'm not saying it's bad.. but we need to sign Inform creative midfielders that provides assist, score and contribute to goals...

Trent this season has got 0 assist... the effects of that lost of form has made salah not active in scoring this season....

Thank God for Robo... early season... he wasn't doing Mucch.. we couldn't even score enough goals because this guys were totally off... the question why do we have a midfielders when they are not contributing to goals....

I agree he's got issue with one on one goals...

Our creative channels are our fullbacks, TAA and Robbo, who are two of the finest fullbacks in the league and they’ve assisted Salah and Mane in winning golden boots in the past and we literally have Firmino the most unselfish ST there is, I recall TAA setting up Nunez 1v1 Dier or so against Spurs severally only for him to push the ball like a novice so yes, Darwin Nunez is worthy of criticism.

Nunez is actually an advanced striker not a poacher. Examples of advanced strikers are Gabriel Jesus, Suarez, Alvarez etc. An advanced striker must have GOOD BALL CONTROL and DECENT PASSING. This is why we suffer. Liverpool cannot rely solely on poachers for goals. Darwin Nunez must be able to create goals/chances out of nothing. And if he’s going to be an advanced striker turn poacher, you must be the best advanced striker turn poacher like Haaland.

I'm not condemning Taigo and Henderson... but the fact is that

Those two players can not even provide 15 assist each for just a single season...

So don't blame a striker when the pass and creativity ain't coming ...

It's time to stop depending on left back and right back for assist in Liverpool ..
And sign a creative midfielders that can assist, create , and score

We really need good AM at least one in January. Our current pattern rely on the fullbacks and too much of sideway pass to the attackers. We should be able to possess and be direct some times if we can add midfielders. YNWA

We have nice midfielder but I believe.. we need high rated midfielder that can play like DEBRUNE, Godogan or SON

Nunez is yet to start pouring goals...

Just wait when Bellingham comes in and other high rated midfielder
