Hello My Fellow Honda users.

I use an honda pilot 07 model....very strong and reliable car but there is an issue with the rear wheel . The left wheel at the back is always bent when loaded.

Is there any permanent solution to this please ?

Then they should lease it out and allow private companies to run it rather than allowing to turn to a Museum . Atleast that would save us some FX rather than having to take the crude abroad to refine at the expense of the FX . The higher the FX goes, the higher the price of fuel !

I no like your tinubu, but removing subsidy was the right thing to do, though he should have supported GEJ when GEJ wanted to remove the thing in 2012.

Still, better late than never. The fact is, if we kept subsidy, by this time next year, we would be spending all our income plus borrowed money propping the thing up. And when IMF says they can't do it anymore....wahala go start.

Then they should have focused more on revamping the refineries like they promised in 2015. The truth is the masses cannot cope with the double digit inflation rates and coupled with the recent floating of FX. Its really gong to be hard knowing fully well that Naija is a consuming and not a producing economy .

What is written in that your manual is that you should use ATF-Z1 on your gearbox and use a good DEXTRON III as a temporary alternative.

Since Honda’s ATF-Z1 has been discontinued you are now to use the newer ATF-DW1in its place.

Look for original ATF-DW1, any other one you use will be detrimental to your transmission and its longevity.

It’s no longer Z1, that’s old fluid, it’s now ATF-DW1 and fakes abound in the market.

Contact luvinhubby here for original cans. You will need 5 Liters for a change.

Huh....and i read in the owners manual tha the DW1 is for temporary use.

Jst placed an online order for ATF Z1...that's the recommended one in owners manual. I am hoping this would be d solution Sha....I dey fear o...😂

Change all your knuckle bushings on that side. Some are bad.

Change out the knuckles themselves with tokumbo or new replacements if you can.

At the bolded, is there a specific gear change sequence that this issue usually occurs? Like during the 1 - 2, 2 - 3 change etc? Any malfunction codes?

Total fluid is okay as a temporary replacement for dw1. Did your Mech remember to service/clean the oil pickup screens in your transmission solenoids at the same time while changing the oil?

I am recently having same issue with my Honda pilot...when changing from gear 1 to 2, it suddenly jerks as it was being rammed into ...and I noticed d movement was heavy only for me to see d D light blinking. So I took it to my mechanic to check with computer and it came out with P70 code ..can't remember the exact code but from d error code...it said d gear oil is either light or needs to be changed.

There's nothing wrong with it.
It's the suspension design for more stability.
Same with CRV and MDX.
I'm not sure if anything can be done to it unless you want to rework the suspension system.

Really ? It's one part that is bent o...not both rear wheels.

Please does anyone knows how or where to resolve this peculiar disease with HONDA PILOT ? Bent Rear Wheel .

Is there a permanent solution or one have to live with it ? The thing tire me ....
