anonimi:no wahala. lets not misunderstand each other i just dont like it when yorubas start mocking igbos to go back home when it was them that paid the ultimate sacrifice and wasted so many other lives just to force igbos to remain with them. its annoyingly HYPOCRITICAL |
anonimi:SW is part of the FRN that fought and forced the igbos to stay in FRN and the SW u should also give me evidence that igbos are staying in SW or FRN willingly, knowingly and of their own accord. how can u say i should give u evidence that soldiers fought war on their own accord? am I on the soldiers mind? but what is clear and what i know is that SW soldiers fought to force igbos to stay in the SW |
anonimi: what evidence ? - so u mean no yoruba soldier died to force igbos remain in the SW so all of u yorubas saying igbos should go back to their jungle should also note that our staying in the SW and lagos is not also our own accord |
YorubaKing:u are now confused thats why u are using insults were u not the one saying igbos should get out of ur land as if its their fault that they found themselves in ur land u should rather blame the yoruba soldiers that died while fighting so that igbos can remain in the SW ... iranu - oshi |
YorubaKing:i said more than 30, 000 yorubamen/soldiers died to make sure igbos remain in the SW |
YorubaKing:but why were u people killing urselves to make sure they remain with u do u know how many yoruba soldiers lost their lives to make sure igbos remain in the SW and nigeria? |
YorubaKing:how? |
YorubaKing:go back where? one nigeria we voted for |
i am just tired of nigerias matter |
another one NPA, NNPC, FIRS - i am not surprised as far as i am concerned these people are the most educated and sophisticated nigerians they have dethroned the sophisticators |
HopeAtHand:apart from names , ur looks also betrays u u dont need to tell them ur name before they know u are igbo i recently went to a wedding i sat among other tribes - when they were doing their traditional greeting they by passed me the woman who didnt know me before then later told me that i dont look like one of them that i looked igbo - i just smiled given ur stand, i am now imagining the kind of energy and stress an ikwerreman would will have put up to disclaim that comment any way , just airing my opinions- i rest my case |
HopeAtHand:the question i want ask u is : why is it that people refer to u as igbo before u start explaining urself that u are not igbo how many people will u be explaining to? is it not better u accept the obvious identity and move on other parts of rivers state refer to u people as igbos - am i lieing? |
HopeAtHand:ok i rest my case but the part of mutilating the igbo language is not possible. it has come to stay |
dukeprince50:u said only language what about the names ikwerres are fair. they are of the SE naturally not politically its the same food - or is it tuwo or amala that is their staple food? mr man if u have 95% similarities with a people u are part of them jare the thing is that people all over the world like independence and recognition - it gives them self esteem and ego |
HopeAtHand:i am not doubting all these recognitions just to create divisions as that is what will make SW and north happy. they are mainly for political expediencies but naturally by culture and language - we are undivided |
HopeAtHand:yes |
HopeAtHand:its ok like that, i am happy for u i am rivers too and we are somehow attached to the ikwerres , we use to be one LGA before until the seperation but nevertheless i still want to recognize myself as igbo which is what people call me from my looks, intonation and behavior even without knowing my name |
jimyjames:ok , dont mind them they are so misguided. ifeanyi davido case is a one off and shouldnt be used to compare. its a statistical misfit i am talking about an overwhelming igbo names and cultures in ikwerreland |
HopeAtHand:ok just that? but i told u that there is also an igbo migration version, there even exist an igala migration version that i have read from ur version that means u people are benins another ikwerre persons version that i know said they are igbos and they migrated from the igbos but from what i am seeing i tend to believe the igbo version because of the overwhelming igbo names, igbo looks, igbo stature and cultures in ikwerreland the traces of benin is so minute that its very hard to believe the benin version |
obidark:this scenario u painted is true , it can happen but it shouldn't be a widespread thing as it is in ikwerreland. that means there is more to it not just marriage |
obidark:its because u cant withstand me thats why u resort to insult in nigeria what they refer to as smartness is being able to deceive and take advantage of peoples trust |
HopeAtHand:the same culture and language the same looks, the same food, the same believes, the same geographical location so how then are u different or can u state the differences? |
obidark:igbos are one of the most intelligent people if u cant reason with an igbo then u are below standard |
HopeAtHand:but u claim non igbo just to spite the igbo the question i have for u is: why does the non igbo riverine people refer to u people as igbos during elections and they even use it as campaign against u in elections they mostly refer to u people as " that igbo man" even though u have been asked to claim otherwise u can just keep deceiving urselves just to please the SW and north |
jimyjames:so because u married igbo women thats why u bear igbo names - hmnm so u mean in ikwerreland it is the wives that gives the children their names but ikwerres got married to other tribes too why are the children not bearing the names of those tribes and why didnt other tribes corrupt the ikwerres too since they are vulnerable to being corrupted |
obidark:mr brick wall u have not said any thing as far am concerned you have not been able to proof me wrong apart subtle abuse the bible says "come lets reason together" we are reasoning here so let me hear ur own submissions that counters what i said and not just to rain abuses and be claiming cleverness |
IkwerreSon:there are different versions, there is also the igbo migration version u can choose to believe any of the versions btw, i keep hearing that so many people including the people from onitsha, ikwerre, etche, urhobo etc migrated from benin kingdom according to pundits my only wonder is why they didnt go along with the benin language because this language is only spoken in the benin city/kingdom and not a widespread language the way they make people believe that everybody migrated from there how come people that migrated from benin will tend to speak igbo that they didnt migrate from. but how come the igbo language is a more widespread language than benin |
Afamed:but why are u people from the SW and North so concerned about tribes and clans in the east are u the ones that will define who we are? u people are always happy that the quarrel and fight u set out for the SE region to divide us is working out, if not why are u always happy when there seems to be division what do u people stand to benefit if other igbos claim they are not igbos because i keep wondering what ur benefits are |
immhotep:adding: mbaise = igbo mgbidi = igbo mbano = igbo obowo = igbo item = igbo abakiliki = igbo therefore ikwerre is a subset of igbo just like others |
webngnews:do u want them to loose 2023 presidency? they have made up their mind to support any evil |
Where exactly is Yele at the moment?! We need to know please. We keep reading different stories and seeing different pictures at different locations all day. All we want is to see him before Mama Yele by Xmas.....that is if he is not calling for war and revolution anymore after the Ministers were named and his name was missing, the same person that was among the first set of people that congratulated 'Bubu' after the election. Hmmmmm, this is deep! Perhaps...........
what is HABA, as if u are not happy is this not what our darling daddy promised us in 2015? this is change our darling daddy is currently washing off dirts from our darling nigerian flag. And this is one of it |
where are the "national interest supersedes rule of law crew" - u will begin to wonder at the kinds of statements that comes out from supposedly educated people in this country - even lawyers that prides themselves with the slogan "my learned colleague" i wonder how we can run a democracy without rule of law - if so the president becomes an absolute monarchy by default as in the olden days because he alone will rule the nation by being the chief judge, chief law maker, and also the chief executioner of his own laws which is what democracy has come to abolish by giving us the 'Separation of powers principle" but why are we really dragging ourselves backwards with full force |
