Please I need advice. I earnestly desire to relocate. I have a degree in Agricultural Economics. What do you advice me to do 1) run an Msc in Nigeria then apply for study visa for PhD in University of Saskatchewan being that it's cheaper than msc. 2) start all over in Nigeria by going back to study nursing maybe in open university 3) Apply for pnp 4) what other advice can you give me. Please my knees are on ground. Take me as your sister and tutor, advice me. NB....I have two kids teaching in a private school but wants to take the bull by the horns. |

This kind of things make me ask why life in its self is unfair. Congratulations to the dog ChiefVal: I moved my dog to Canada with me after several months! If anyone was wondering how to do it, I’ll just summarise here. I struggled to get info when I wanted to do it, hence this summary. My dog is a small dog, so it was easier, there’s more restrictions for dogs over 8kg (carrier weight included). What you need 1. Export permit, microchip and all vaccination certificates and records. (I got all these from my vet for about 80k). The quarantine section at MMIA will collect the export permit and ask you to pay 5k to affix some strap to your dog carrier. 2. An airline approved bag/carrier to fit your pet. If you dog is a big dog, they’ll send you to cargo department. 3. Inform your airline while booking your ticket to add your pet on your trip. I went with ET airline so I paid USD150 as the fee to add my dog to my ticket. This fee is payable upon checkin at the airport. I initially booked KLM but they won’t carry your pet if your stopover is over 3 hours plus they have some restrictions on certain kinds of planes as well. 4. Declare your pet when you arrive Canada. (I landed YYZ so I don’t know about any other airports) You’ll pay a fee of about CAD37 at the airport declaration place.
Hope this helps someone! |

Originalsly: This can be very interesting and informative to those in the diaspora and back home ... but highly likely to be derailed by enquiries on how to get to the US and by " beggars" who would discourage many from contributing to the thread in order to not expose their location. But we can give it a try.
Nobody
Location: New York City. So many things are taken for granted here ... like getting Nigerian food stuffs.... that's never a problem since there is always a store not more that 10 minutes drive regardless of where you live. The city is expensive... overheads like rent and employee pay will no doubt be passed on to the food items .... but then there is competition and proximity of stores which keep prices under control. The price is too high or items not in good condition.... we jump and pass... on to the next store! I feel sorry for you guys out there with that one store that you have to travel soooo far to reach... and when you get there..... take what you get and pay the ransom. If you're out there ... in the wilderness ... maybe you should order foodstuffs from back home and let the person send it via NIPOST.... job creation ... business venture for someone back home. To find a trustworthy and reliable person back home would be the biggest problem. No, it's not a problem at all. I can help do that for free knowing that one day I will come over there and still need such help. I also do importation from China for my people here. Feel free to contact me for any help at no cost at all. 08038436827 |
