I need help with investment advise, background of the story is I own a business with a lot of potential in a very viable location. Been struggling with finances because I piled up some debt in the run-up to starting the business, so most of my profit has been going towards clearing the debt. I recently got approached by a potential investor and in our first meeting he mentioned incorporating and stuff about share capital and asked questions like what % of the business am I willing to sell.

I must admit that I am lost when it comes to the corporate part of business, I just want to make good food and get paid. I Also feel I could benefit from the expansion that this investor is proposing, my main question is; how do I determine the current value of my business and also share capital?
