I think it shocked you guys that no igbo person or group is defending Ekpa, like prophet MNK? No be so Kunle? We dont forsake our children, even if he does something condemnable. Make Ekpa & his handlers in Nigerian Depp State settle themselves! The audacity with which he takes responsibiliy shows he is working for some people in Nigeria! But as for what i posted, that's whatbthe European laws says. If Asiwaju was serious, whe could have run it like Buhari.... He knew Finland will never hand over its ex soldier, politician and citizen to a 3rd rate country. So if Ekpa is not brought to face his accusations in Nigeria wetin he gan? paramakina202: |
Ex convict Bidemi...so you left the main topic of this post to talk trash, hope if i start with you, you wont cry to mod? I have told you time without number to come to X and post, so there be reasonably ground to send you go say hi to Ejele in Kuje. ![]() Come X let's meet and greet...like my Indian couleguea like to say. Na every day una dey mad sef? Even mumu wey carry load wey pass am dey take time rest! Kunle rest...Ojukwu don join our ancestor, and really not responsibe for the miseray you are currently facing! Infact, while you are facing these miserable torments of hunger, his wife has landed a job from Asiwaju. Also, while you hate on Igbos, an Igbo will be your first lady in Lagos 2027.... Either from bros Seyi or from GRV. better get that into your ronu skull EeyanMayweather: |
Yet, its old news now. Its a remand order, pending appearance in court or as further advised by the District prosecutor. trutharena: |
Absolutely..... On the first count; sufficient connection to Finland. He has demonstrated that, by enlisting and serving in the military, bros is also a local politician......that short na real GOAT , enjoying the tranquil serenity of the Nordics while ode's dey do Sit at home! Any damned sit at home that wont shut down Aso Rock & National HOuse of Assembly on mondays is self suffering biko....On the second count; Providing false and misleading information to the Finnish auhorithies, he has not been accused of that. has he? Pray tell if he has! On the third count; Committing high treason. The last time i checked, he wasnt even accused of a crime in Finland, but in a far flug 3rd rate country with mountain of corruption cases, broad day light stealing by politicians, foolish priorities like packaging prayers instead of forcing people to hit the farms,or woork factories, lots of bad debts internationally and poor leadership mired with espionage drug dealing past. Now, let me tell you something about the Europeans, you dont....their laws is written in blacck and white. They dont joke with it, less they groom another Hitler for leader. Their judges dont give conflicting judgement for same or similar cases......That UK for instance, she's dead scared of engaging resitive seccessionist in her courts, or saying stuffs that would warrant these engagements, because nasty secrets might be ordered by a judge to be made open! DaddyJapan: |
No emotional taurumss... how you feel about Ekpa is no subtitute for law... The Statues & laws are quoted above. Extradition & deportation, wont happen, because Asiwaju messed it up! AS dumb as Buhari is, he knows this too well....opting instead to go the illegal route. No EU country will release its citizen to a 3rd rated country with Death penalty, torture etc even if the person do the unthinkable, let that enter your head, in case you become president tomorrow, otherwise your own mumu fit pas Asiwaju own. The citizen family will just cash out through compensation big time at the expense of the EU Country. You see how Chinese debtors dey find which Nigerian govt assets abroad they wil size, European court do am pass Chinese. odejimioflagos: |
Fortunately or Unfortunately they can't..... As a dual nationality EU citizen, the law forbade deportation or extradition to countries with death penalty... Nigeria is a country with Death penalty.... He will get a slap on the wrist and a commitment to toe non violent path, should he provide his case. But hey, most people online are too dumb to know that serious matters like this, don't follow emotional feelings but known laws. ebukal67x: |

Why Finland’s Bureaucracy and Freedom-Fighting Ethos May Sympathize with Simon Ekpa’s Ordeal Finland, a country with a storied history of defending its sovereignty and championing human rights, has long prided itself on a governance model rooted in democracy, individual freedoms, and rule of law. This ethos, coupled with the nation’s historical and contemporary struggles against external aggression, particularly from Russia, shapes a unique lens through which Finnish authorities and society might view the ordeal of Simon Ekpa—a controversial figure advocating for self-determination. Finland’s History of Defiance Against Oppression Finland’s historical struggle to preserve its independence, especially during the Winter War (1939–1940) against the Soviet Union, has fostered a national identity rooted in resilience and the fight for self-determination. Finns understand firsthand the significance of resisting perceived oppression or external domination. Simon Ekpa’s advocacy for the Biafran cause mirrors, albeit in a different context, the quest for freedom and autonomy that resonates with Finland’s own historical experiences. While Finns may not condone violent methods, they may empathize with the underlying principle of seeking liberty, particularly if framed within a non-violent and diplomatic context. Bureaucracy and Human Rights The Finnish bureaucracy is known for its adherence to justice, fairness, and transparency. Finland consistently ranks among the world’s most democratic and least corrupt nations, with institutions designed to ensure due process and protect individual rights. In Ekpa’s case, Finnish authorities will likely scrutinize his actions to ensure they align with legal norms. However, the same system will also safeguard his rights to free speech and peaceful assembly, provided he does not cross the line into incitement or violence. The bureaucracy’s commitment to impartiality may incline officials to approach his case with sensitivity, especially if Ekpa positions himself as a peaceful advocate for freedom. Finland’s Stance on Russian Expansionism Finland’s proximity to Russia and its long-standing vigilance against Russian influence amplify the nation’s appreciation for the struggles of smaller states or groups resisting perceived domination. Finland’s recent accession to NATO underscores its dedication to countering authoritarian expansionism. Ekpa’s advocacy for the Biafran cause could be viewed through a similar lens, as it involves resisting a state’s perceived encroachment on the autonomy and rights of a marginalized group. If Ekpa aligns his messaging with democratic ideals and non-violent resistance, it could resonate with Finland’s own stance against coercion and expansionism. The Challenge of Balancing Freedom and Responsibility While Finland values freedom and may sympathize with Ekpa’s broader goals, it is also a nation deeply committed to law and order. Acts or rhetoric that incite violence, even in the name of freedom, are unlikely to garner support. However, if Ekpa shifts his approach to emphasize diplomacy, peaceful advocacy, and alignment with international norms, he may find Finnish institutions and society more inclined to support his right to express his cause. Finland’s historical struggle for independence, its commitment to human rights, and its contemporary resistance to authoritarian expansion provide a context in which Simon Ekpa’s advocacy might find understanding. However, this sympathy hinges on Ekpa’s ability to channel his efforts through peaceful and lawful means. By doing so, he can leverage Finland’s ethos of freedom and fairness while avoiding alienation from a society deeply committed to democratic principles. |

ASiwaju never really intend Ekpa to come to nigeria and face his allegations (because i suspect Ekpa works for Nigeria Deep State). If you read with an open mind, you will quickly realize that Buhari is smarter, has best advisers than Asiwaju....for these reasons, or Asiwaju is out there to protect Ekpa and shut him up for good. Reasons is because even his Defense chief suspects that highly placed people in govt dont want the violence in Nigeria to stop. The Law forbades deportation of an EU citizen to a 3rd country with Death penalty & abysmal Human rights violations. Finland will NEVER deport Ekpa for this reason. Article 19 of the European Union charter on Fundamental Human rights clearly protects him...even if he foolishly bombs Aso Rock and caught on tape doing it. In EU, the Law is the Law, there is no way around it. This was what Buhari was clearly told by the cunning Brits who leaked MNK travel intinenary to Buhari who in turn quickly bribe his way through ever corrupt Kenya Deep State officials. Even in Kenya, a 3rd rated country, it is still a lengthy tortuos process for govts to work through the courts. Simon Ekpa, a self appointed Prime Minister of Biafran Govt in Exile...., has been arrested by the Finnish National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) and subsequently sent to prison by the district court of Päijät-Häme for “spreading terrorist propaganda on social media. "The police suspect that the man [under investigation] has furthered his efforts from Finland in such a way that has resulted in violence against civilians and public authorities and in other crimes in South-East Nigeria," Detective Chief Inspector Otto Hiltunen said in a statement published by VOA. The suspect "carried out this activity by campaigning, for example, on his social media channels," Hiltunen said. This Finnish-Nigerian born politician, ex soldier will make a former declaration to the Finnish authorithies to henceforth pursue whatever gruss he has with Nigerian Govt in a non-violent manner (His best chance of coming out of these). However, we reliably gathered, if push gets to shove, that his lawyers might invoke Article 19 & 21 of EU charter on Human rights which forbades deportation to a 3rd Country with abysmal human rights violations based on any of these: sex, race, colour, ethnic or social origin, genetic features, language, religion or belief, political or any other opinion, membership of a national minority, property, birth, disability, age or sexual orientation. This settled, Ekpa Simon, the self styled Prime Minister of BRGIE might not extradited to Nigeria to face his accusers. But will definitely be sanctioned by the Finnish authorithies, i hope. The Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union (CFR) enshrines certain political, social, and economic rights for European Union (EU) citizens and residents into EU law. It was drafted by the European Convention and solemnly proclaimed on 7 December 2000 by the European Parliament, the Council of Ministers and the European Commission. However, its then legal status was uncertain and it did not have full legal effect until the entry into force of the Treaty of Lisbon on 1 December 2009. The European Union's commitment to human rights is enshrined in the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union. Specifically, Article 19 of the Charter prohibits the deportation or expulsion of individuals to a third country where they may face risks of torture, inhuman or degrading treatment, or punishment. Here’s the relevant part of Article 19 of the EU Human Rights Charter: Protection in the event of removal, expulsion or extradition: "No one shall be removed, expelled or extradited to a State where there is a serious risk that he or she would face the death penalty, torture or inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment." This article ensures that EU citizens, and others protected by EU law, cannot be deported to countries where their fundamental rights could be violated in such extreme ways. This includes situations where the country they might be deported to has abysmal human rights conditions. Additionally, the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR), which the EU is bound by, contains similar protections under Article 3, which forbids torture or inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment. Even if someone is an EU citizen, they are protected from such treatment under these conventions. This will be Ekpa's saving grace! What does the EU Charter on Human Rights by goverment Says: The EU Charter that safeguard against governmental abuses on private individuals is called Article 21. Article 21 - Non-discrimination. Any discrimination based on any ground such as sex, race, colour, ethnic or social origin, genetic features, language, religion or belief, political or any other opinion, membership of a national minority, property, birth, disability, age or sexual orientation shall be prohibited. Article 13 of the EC Treaty, now replaced by Article 19 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, Article 14 of the ECHR and Article 11 of the Convention on Human Rights and Biomedicine as regards genetic heritage. In so far as this corresponds to Article 14 of the ECHR, it applies in compliance with it. What is Ekpa charged with: In Finland, a person who publicly provokes others to commit a terrorist offense can be charged with the following: 1. Distribution of a message 2. Making a message available to the public with the intent to incite the commission of a terrorist offense. What possible sanctions will be applied to Ekpa? 1. Criminal sanctions in Finland include: fixed fine, conditional imprisonment, community service, monitoring sentence, and unconditional imprisonment. 2. Murder with terrorist intent. A person who commits murder with terrorist intent can be sentenced to life imprisonment . According to EU charter on fair judstice, this would have to be proved beyond reasonable doubt such as shwing how the person physically carry out the act....This i am sure the Finland investigators can not prove because Crime was allegeddly committed in Nigeria, while Ekpa is in Finland. Why Ekpa's military service, and good understanding of the Finnish language might make the difference between prison & a caution to do his thing in a non-violent way. Ekpa’s Military Service and Proficiency in Finnish will turn into Keys to Avoiding Prison and Advocating Non-Violence. Simon Ekpa, a polarizing figure in Nigerian and Biafran politics, finds himself in a precarious legal situation in Finland, where his activism has drawn attention from authorities. His future hinges not only on his actions but also on his background, particularly his military service and linguistic skills. These two factors may be pivotal in determining whether he faces imprisonment or is allowed to continue his pursuits under caution, provided he adopts a non-violent approach. Also, the Role of Military Service Ekpa’s service in the Finnish military demonstrates his integration into Finnish society and his commitment to upholding the values and responsibilities of his adopted homeland. Military service in Finland is viewed as a significant contribution to national security and cohesion, symbolizing loyalty and shared responsibility. This background could influence how Finnish authorities perceive him. While his actions may have drawn criticism, his military service reflects a willingness to work within the frameworks of Finnish society. Courts and law enforcement agencies may consider this when determining his culpability or sentencing. Rather than seeing him as a disruptive outsider, they might view him as someone who has, at least in the past, shown respect for the laws and structures of Finland. Proficiency in the Finnish Language Ekpa’s fluency in Finnish offers another critical advantage. Effective communication allows him to navigate the legal system with greater clarity, ensuring his arguments and intentions are clearly understood. Language barriers often exacerbate misunderstandings in legal cases, but Ekpa’s proficiency allows him to articulate his position effectively, including his claims of advocating for justice and human rights. Moreover, his ability to engage in dialogue in Finnish may foster a sense of trust and relatability among legal authorities and the broader public. It can underscore his integration and emphasize his capacity to work collaboratively with Finnish society rather than against it. Non-Violence as a Path Forward Authorities in Finland are more likely to show leniency if Ekpa explicitly commits to non-violence and demonstrates that his activism aligns with democratic principles. Finland places a high value on freedom of speech and assembly, provided these rights are exercised responsibly. If Ekpa uses his platform to advocate for peaceful solutions rather than inciting unrest, he can position himself as a legitimate activist rather than a threat to public order. Striking a Balance While Finnish authorities may be sympathetic to his background, they are also bound by their commitment to the rule of law and public safety. Ekpa’s military service and language proficiency cannot exempt him from accountability if his actions violate Finnish or international laws. However, these factors can significantly mitigate his situation by framing him as someone capable of constructive dialogue and reform. Simon Ekpa stands at a crossroads where his past contributions to Finnish society and his personal capabilities can either serve as assets or be overshadowed by his actions. His military service and understanding of the Finnish language present an opportunity for him to advocate his cause within the bounds of the law. By renouncing violence and embracing peaceful methods, Ekpa may not only avoid imprisonment but also gain greater legitimacy in his advocacy, ensuring that his voice is heard without jeopardizing his freedom or Finland’s commitment to justice and security Will Ekpa be able to turn the table on Nigeria? Assuming he is innocent off these charges? He could, using instrumentality of this EU law Article 42, quote: Any citizen of the Union, and any natural or legal person residing or having its registered office in a Member State, has a right of access to documents of the institutions, bodies, offices and agencies of the Union, whatever their medium. The right guaranteed in this Article has been taken over from Article 255 of the EC Treaty, on the basis of which Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 has subsequently been adopted. The European Convention has extended this right to documents of institutions, bodies and agencies generally, regardless of their form (see Article 15(3) of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union). In accordance with Article 52(2) of the Charter, the right of access to documents is exercised under the conditions and within the limits for which provision is made in Article 15(3) of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union. With access to documents as an EU citizen, he can expose how a few criminals sold the wholes territories to the Brits, first to a Company, which was later acquired by the British goverment, and also, the Charter that says a 100 year span...i thought the motherfvcker was a lawyer, abi na Nwa-ike kind of ogogoro lawyer he be sef? What can Nigeria Govt do? Little. Other than providing good leaders, zero ccorruptions and allowing the Votes to count! For instance, if Asiwaju will allow votes to count, i tell you post 2027, 60 percent of these agitations will die down. How, allow the people to vote their interests who will try their best to better their lives. But a situation where certain individuals will conspire with electoral umpires to change votes and results...is unacceptable and sure to birth restive agitations. My personal opinion. Now is Ekpa best chance to stop the madness in SE, assuming he is the one manipulating all these. He can use his trial in a fair court country to talk about his gruss with Nigeria, how an amicable solution based on what the people yeans for can offer a more lasting solution. Which includes rights to a FREE & FAIR elections, rights to a well monitored Referredum to ascertain what the people wants. His arrest in an EU country might actually be a silver linning for the seccessionists if actually they know what to do. I am a Business man, consultancy is some of the stuffs i use in feeding my family......in case you you need one, talk to me. Not everything requires viiolenece, or fighting. Sometimes, calm down and explain the situation with graphical & verifiable and irrefutable evidence! Infact i wish it was the Finnish short engine that is in Asiwaju gulag instead of MNK........hahahahahahahhaha By Now, the Europeans would have seen reasons to allow the Igbos build a country of their own, or make sure elections counts! The choice will be out there for Nigerians to make. Now, here is what to watch out for: 1. If the violence stops immediately, Ekpa is working for a member of Nigeria Deep, currently occupying a top position in Asiwaju govt. And they have decided to cut him off, since he has over spent his welcome on their agenda of destablization of the SE. 2. If the violence continues, it means, Ekpa is just an opportunist who saw a gap on MBK non violent group and fill in himself appropriately. If what i know about the Igbos is right, and if the incaceration of MNK was what provoke a hard core splitter group to go this lane, then i am afraid, a more deadly, secretive, evasive and die hard hardliner will move up his splitter group and fill in for him. How many time has Israel assasinated Hamas, Hezbollah leaders and operatives? To some, hamas & hezbollah are not terrorist groups...make una dey deceive una self! Asiwaju mole just dropped secrets agreed on in meetings! Good he has been suspended! ![]() |
Good move! That is a potential Asiwju mole in ACF! He has dropped discussions that should be secret in the Open! Possible scenario in 2027... Option A: Asiwaju is kicked out of Aso Rock, and a northerner, having an Igbo vice is voted in. Northerner does one term, and his Vice an Igbo takes over in 2031. Option B: Asiwaju is kicked out in 2027, and the North with a special agreemnet with Igbos, vote an Igbo, who does one term to balance Asiwaju 4 years of the locusts, and hand over to a northerner in 2031. Option C: The North allows the werey to complete his do 8 useless years, and hand over to a Northerner who will have an Igbo Vice. the Northerner does One term out of pure public opinion, the hand over to an Igbo who does 8 years, then hand over back to the Northe who does 8 years, then hand over to SS person. If the SW are anything near educated as they claim, option A & B is best for them, putting them back in the mainstream. Howver, should the North resort to cement their alliance with SE, forget it the SW ever testing power again! I know what i am saying. ![]() |
This why i think a lot of you are really mad! Sick and of very low IQ..... Yes. It is not in your place to tell some one when to speak or not, or on any thing or issues. Same way, Adeboye, Soyinka choose not to speak as Asiwaju runs the country aground, so also others have the right to siddon look! Ok. You lots famous for foolish decision making such as support the daura clown for 8 damn yrs even when it was obvious to a child he is running the country aground........But you newly or rebranded miscreants here on nairaland are just too foolish to see understand this! Well, Bidemi, you are free to think and reason according to the full capacity of your brain! That is your problem though, not mine! Also, you can sit in your shack, and drop the names of dignitaries, while making unfounded accussations against them, not your fault, but nairaland's which provide aannonymous platform for you miscreants.
