The refinery Dangote built is not feasible.... Within three years, G-d sparing us, you will quickly find out it will be like Ajaokuta steel

Two questions well answer will make you seem like a prophet when it happens like that?

1. Within three years, can Nigeria be free off it's oil 4 debts palaver with it's lender's so that Dangote can get Nigerian crude without legal, logistical and other palavers to keep the refinery working?

2. Within three years can Nigeria provide Dangote with the necessary USD to continue to pay it's suppliers of crude oil?

Tankio!

Asiwaju is tired. He knows with Dangote buying crude oil, it's game over restoring the Naira to even Buhari era rates!

He has two options.... which he actually started the first and best option. Go after Dangote. But can he risk it? Without repercussions? Won't "they" take him out? Don't ask me who is "they"

I'm not a fan of Asiwaju. Asiwaju didn't have all the details when he made that decision.... He now has all the details! Hahaha 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I think it was an innocent mistake.

We must not allow our difference make us punish our opponent more than enough or in ways that would affect us too!

Nigeria has only two options:

Frustrate Dangote so that the Naira can breath or break it loans commitment and give Dangote crude!
Because refined products importation is the biggest export of our USD!

PoliticsRe: Dangote Is The Biggest Threat To A Stable Naira, This Is Why! by Bigkoko(op): 8:36am On Jan 31, 2024
The 20% is what is keeping Nigeria afloat....this is the lifeline that Asiwaju has ordered NNPC to stop collecting, that instead should be paid directly to CBN.

All the refineries at all outdated, obsolete. The best that can be done is scrapping it and selling the irons. Most manufacturers no longer manufacture the parts. So how do you expect the refineries to work?

Nigeria do not have sufficient power, politically , diplomatically, socially, religiously and economically to dare the US.

Next you will see is iPob or Boko Haram acquiring SAMs, or Niger Deltan avengers blowing up pipelines. Even the small 20% Nigeria no go see.

The first principle of staying cool is never make a mistake. Next is remember first principle!

Dicado:
If 80% of our oil was tied to loan, what about the 20%?

Secondly, why isn't PH refinery and others working as promised?

Thirdly, if Nigeria stubbornly refines its own crude without buying from the US or anywhere else, what will happen?

My dear, in my travels I found out that three things runs an economy; Demand, Supply & Numbers!

That's why even in the best countries and economy, you still find people peddling drugs.... because there's demand. So people will perfect a supply route.

Once the numbers do not add up.... Even the best and finest economy will collapse!

Make a mistake in any of these..... hahahahaha na your name!

Efcc raided Dangote office. Then Asiwaju got a call, our busy body, too much grammar Efcc boss backed off. You see I like Asiwaju for one thing, he could be stubborn at times..... that's if there's nothing to lose, but he has something to loose: 2027. So I don't expect him to apply more pressure. Dangote is bigger than Asiwaju. Truth be told, Asiwaju really wants to help but the people behind all these are big and have something to make him carve.

Back to oga Dangote.
Few years ago, Dangote was broke and cash strapped. Western lenders won't talk to him. Buhari was not too ok because rescuing a big rich man comes with unintended consequences... your local currency will go! Dangote handlers sold Emefiele and Buhari a dummy; a Nigerian -Dangote JV. All hogwash. That's for another day though!

Dangote is not off himself, he's tied, like most people who make their money through Deals with Bretton Woods institutions, to agreements he has no option but to follow through.

One of such agreements is ditching the Nigerian crude, with less logistic palaver for American crude with lots of logistics nightmare for a subsaharan country.

But one thing most people, especially the badly educated ones, the political jobbers and those with corn in their back pocket, refused to see is that Dangote is the most dangerous Nigerian alive, not politically or sectarianly but economically. These are my reasons.

1. CBN gov Emefiele & Buhari funded a broke Dangote with our FX reserves when western lenders won't cut him a slack. They even tried to destroyed him with a flimsy bitch in a hotel. Buhari & Emefiele sallied to the rescue. Wrong move. With more than $2 billion dollars cash, they rescued him. $2B for a project that would not impact sufficiently? Common...our leaders are dumb! $2B spread to 5000 smes would make Nigeria give India a hot Chase! Let's assume 50% of the $2B were stolen as usual, $1B in the right hands of local businesses will do a healthy economic revamp!
What should be preferred? $2b for one project that would employ less than 1,000 persons, most of them sourced from India or $2b for 5000 smes with capacity to employ at least 5 directly. Numbers is everything! Well, they foolishly gave him access to our reserves, and Naira took a dip.

2. Dangote, Emefiele and Buhari knew all along that there's no crude oil to give Dangote....80% of crude production is tied to loans already collected, stolen or misapplied... They knew Dangote will have to source from abroad.... this is where it gets really dangerous for the local economy and people. Dangote will buy crude from the US in dollars, and Dangote will refine the crude in Nigeria and sell in Naira. After selling in Naira where will Dangote get USD to buy next batch of crude oil? Sorry bruh.... Dollar is going to 2500ngn Hahaha 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Sense no go kill Bigkoko hahaha 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Asiwaju knows this, that's why he initially authorized a raid on his Lagos office. But Dangote handler's get mouth pass Asiwaju!

Govt & black market people will have to keep at least $5b monthly for Dangote to meet up on his payment in exchange to the naira you guys would bring to buy PMs. sometimes you will be forced to save a useless entity because of how big it is and who has mouth in it! That's Dangote issue!

By his decision to buy crude from US, perish any hope of the naira recovering. Even dumb Buhari know that if you float your currency, you are toast!

Dangote is the sole reason the Naira plummeted, but somehow Emefiele resisted pressure to float it ....

Dangote will be the sole reason why Naira will clock 2500 against the dollar because.......

He buys crude oil in dollars, from abroad.
He sells refined products in Naira.
When next he buys, how will he access USD?

Once you have a corn in your back pocket.....say goodbye to critical reasoning!

PoliticsRe: Reno Omokri: Why Dangote Refinery Is Buying Crude Oil From The US by Bigkoko: 4:54am On Jan 31, 2024
You underestimated the power of corn in his back pocket! Nigeria has no crude oil to sell, because Buhari already used it as loan well into the future to access loan for his Niger Daura railway!

And off course those with corn in their back pocket cheered then!

Dangote, alone will make sure Naira never recovers! As me why?

To buy crude, he needs dollars. When he sell the refined crude, he gets Naira!

So, Nigeria should be prepared to give him at least a monthly exchange of more than $4 billion dollars!

Naira is going to 2500ngn to a dollar......

inubu Has Exposed Nigeria To Ridicule By Visiting Foreign Country - Falana by Omooba77: 9:57am
Tinubu Has Exposed Nigeria To Ridicule By Visiting Foreign Country Where His Presence Is Not Recognised – Femi Falana

Popular Nigerian lawyer and human rights activist Femi Falana (SAN) has lambasted President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for exposing Nigeria to ridicule by traveling to France, where his presence is not officially recognized, on a purported private visit.

During an exclusive interview with Rudolf Okonkwo on 90MinutesAfrica on Sunday, the human rights advocate made the charge.

“I hope this will be the last time that a president of Nigeria will expose the country to embarrassment and ridicule by going to a country where his presence is not recognized,”

Mr. Falana said about the Nigerian president’s recent two weeks private visit to France. He explained that as the country with the largest concentration of black people in the world, Nigeria ought to carry herself with some dignity.

Last Wednesday, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, revealed that President Tinubu will travel to France on a private visit and “he will return to the country in the first week of February 2024.”

However, while commenting on the statement, the Senior Advocate of Nigeria said that the Nigerian constitution does not make provision for a private visit by the president.

“There is no provision in the constitution for a private visit by the Nigerian president. Therefore, he cannot go on a private visit and still be running the country,” the lawyer insisted. “So to the extent that the activities of the state are still being conducted by him, the question of a private visit does not arise.”

Tracing the trajectory of the decline in the diplomatic status of Nigeria, the learned silk narrated how the late Afrobeat musical legend, Fela Anikulakpo Kuti, used to be invited to the Presidential Palace in France by President Francois Mitterand for recognition during the musician’s private visits to the country and wondered how years later a Nigerian president would travel to the same country on a “private visit” and get no official recognition.

The foremost lawyer further berated the Lagos State governor’s trip to Grenada to attend a birthday party. Falana said that Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s visit to the prime minister of the nation of 130,000 people was just an afterthought designed to cover the embarrassing implications of the trip.

“The governor of a state in a federation does not conduct foreign affairs,” Falana said. He knows he cannot tell Lagosians that he went on a private visit to attend a birthday party. That is why he had to quickly call on the PM to make it look official.”

During the interview, Barrister Falana also spoke on the state of Nigeria’s judiciary. He said that despite the mess in the judicial system, some judges still have chosen to “remain loyal to their oath of office.” However, he pointed out that the percentage of those judges is a tiny minority.

“It is almost an infinitesimal minority of judges. The system itself attracts corruption in all facets of our lives. If you pay poor wages, if you deliberately starve the judiciary of funds, if you deliberately refuse to allow judicial autonomy, then you are encouraging judicial corruption.”

JagabanB:
Take a good look at the constitution and u will realize over 60% of development in any state rests with SG and LG.
It's the duty of LG to build parks, cemeteries, name streets, build and maintain them, they are to provide street lighting, they are to provide portable water to the people within their jurisdiction, I can go on and on.
What did Obi do as governor?
ObIitrated LG, didn't do any of the above, yet the comfortable means is to bIame FG.
I keep telling Nigerians, we can continue with the politics or we can face reality and build our society.
Which ever one we choose, I am very very comfortable in both.
Has SE ever brought up any development plan to FG and they refused?
Who's the FG?
Is the FG the president only?
Are there no lgb0s in FG?
The SE don't have senators and HOR members?
Has SE ever brought up any project that was turned down?
The presidents the SE appreciates the most like OBJ, Yar'adua and GEJ are the ones who brought the Ieast development to that region and it's sister region SS.
Buhari refurbished airports, paid 13% derivation these same folks didn't pay, built second Niger bridge, putting the sea ports those same foIks crashed, same ALSCON they kiIIed he was trying to revamp it, rail lines like Warri-Itakpe rail that they abandoned, tell me again, have SE as a region ever submitted a development plan that FG turned down?
U know the answer but Nigeriàñs prefer poIitics over growth.
Since the president is not our choice, we wiII say every negative thing.
We can continue playing the politics or grow the society, this particular choice rests with the masses not the politicians, the masses are more political than the politicians thereby making politics easy for politicians.

Jagaban Where have you been? NGN is gone! Slowly climbing to 2500 to a dollar.

Well, if you understand the Powers allocated to the president, you will understand why Development actually lies on his hand and not on any state governor... which HE Peter Obi once held... When HE Peter Obi gets in, and uses the instrumentality of power, his aka gum policy and Igbo coconut head to force out Development, then you will understand.

Take Lagos for instance, she is overstressed, overstretched and rapidly deteriorating because leaders feel if you concentrate there that's when they're working...no, they're suffering Lagos, suffering the people, suffering themselves too!

Take for instance, Lagos trying to build a metro that connects five other SW states....due to complications with the constitution, they can't. Get what I'm saying?

Assuming the SE decided to come up with a Regional blueprint of Development that will see certain infrastructures that Foster region, such as developing all inland river to connect with riverine states, the feds won't have this!

Anyway, I hope the corn in your back pocket never finish?
