Why Is This So In The South East?? I Need Explanation

So today I decided to travel to Owerri from onitsha for a business meeting, the journey was meant to be a 1hr30min journey or less, but the check point for such short distance was sooo much!!

Like literally every 1km of the road has checkpoint, it's so bad that from a particular check point, you can basically see another check point ahead.

Ranging from the Army to the police to FRSC. Basically every force is on the road and all of them including the army were collecting bribe from the drivers. I actually felt bad for the drivers because it was too much. I felt really disgusted as well because I expected them to distinguish themselves but no they didn't.

I guess this is why the transport rate here is on the high side.

Now I've spent 4hrs on the road due to traffic induced by these forces from blockage of the road

Last week I came back from Abuja to Anambra and the check point were few across the north and I kept wondering.

Is there insurgency in the SE or is the crime rate high here or what exactly is the cause of this excess checkpoints / extortion points

But before you do that I'd advice you get a private tutor to take you through the world of science
So you can get a grasp of what science is about before jumping to study medicine and surgery and you should also know studying courses like this are usually very intensive unlike English language

Nobody really cares about your CGPA in Pharmacy. It is only calculated to see if the said student could be the overall BGS for that set.
There's a way they grade it. You could be the best in Pharmacology, Clinical pharmacy, pharmacognosy, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacy technology etal by virtue of having enough Distinctions in them from your 200L-500L/600L.

So wait there's nothing Like just distinction in pharmacy in your certificate?

There's nothing like "" in Pharmacy school.
The lowest pass grade is "C" that is 50%, some is even 60%. So 49 or 59 could mean outright Fail.
Its either Distinction,Pass, Fail.

I just went through all the comments and i saw some hating and some insulting but i'm suprised to see that nobody told You that You cant have a CGPA in your first semester in 100Level, what You have there is a GPA, You can only have a CGPA after you have completed 2 semesters.

In my portal I have GPA and CGPA

4.9 is really a good GPA.
Once you cross over to Pharmacy school, GP won't be that important. You will only need to be the best in all your courses/professional exams/departments. Always aim for Distinction. It paves way, i tell you.

Since you are in Pharmacy, your CGPA could be calculated. Though its unclassified, all graduates in Pharmacy came out with at least 2.1. But that cannot be said for those in Medicine/Dentistry/Veterinary Medicine.

Pls don't mind my English typo. I have been battling this embarrassing illnesses mouth and body odour for the past three years now . Visit the nearest Hospital and perform a complete health profile test in a lab
Its has to do with an internal problem

Hi guys, so basically I'm a 100L pharmacy student.
Our First semester result were just released on our portal and fortunately for me I'm on a 4.9/5.0 CGPA
I've always heard so many people saying CGPA isn't a necessity for medical/Pharm students since it's unclassified
I put in a Lot of effort in getting that CGPA and I won't lie its really exhausting
Do I just focus on just "Passing my courses" or Continue with the CGPA hunt?
I'd love to hear from Med/pharm students in higher levels or any one that has an idea
