Good morning fellow famers. Due to the high and increasing cost of feeds and persistent decline in the price of egg, is it advisable to restock now? Am thinking of booking 2500 doc. Pls your advice is highly needed

First of all, 8 bags per day isn't adequate for 1845 laying birds. You should feed them with at least 9 bags per day. Do that and place them on multivitamins for a week and let's know the outcome.

I did as u all advised. Increase their feeds to 9 bags and i also placed them on embacyryl for 6days. Guess it flushed the Newcastle in them.am doin 80% now but the increase in cost of feeds is eating up the effort. Am only having 14-15 crates as ROI for now. Pls I also have 14weeks pullet now. How can I prevent them from Newcastle disease . because its such a spoiler. Thanx.

Actually the underfeeding had affected them during their growing stage, which could result in their delay in production and also be the reason of not producing to the expected production. I had such a similar case like that also that I just solved in which those birds were underfed during their growing stage and affected them a lot in which the time the ought to dropped was late, they dropped at 28weeks and by 33weeks their production stopped at 50%. But when I got there and did something changes they changed rapidly to 83%

Good morning house..pls my birds are jus 3months in laying ,the got to 69% last month which is the highest the attained.the have now droped to 65%. 1845 consiming 200kg of hybrid feed daily. I have 2 seprate halls which I have decided to try animal care feeds in the other hall to see if it cud be from the feeds. Each hall having 922. The birds are physically heathy. Pls how can I improve their performance. Thanks

Goodevening house. Pls am having some issues with my laying birds. The are 3months in laying,the got to laying 69% then started declining now the are doin 65% percent. It's so depressing cos am a little above break even. Even though the started laying late in their 24th week but the picked immedietly when the started Laying..laying almost normal size when the started. Though they have been on one medication to the other as a result of sickness or symptoms from any of them..the all will be treated. Last week I had a mortality and the pm revealed ecoli and typhoid. The were put on medication and the where droping 69% less than ten days which is yestaday anoda mortality the pm revealed Newcastle and respiratory infection.now the are on medication,and their production has dropped to making 65%. The birds are physically healthy but the production is poor. Pls what should I do to get to 80%production. Am feeding them with hybrid feeds. Thanks in anticipation of ur swift response. Good morning house. I have 1870 birds and the are 27weeks, the started laying 3weeks ago as@,yestaday the are on 21crates.the increase on 2crates per day so far. However am having mortality issues,for the past 8days..I have lost about 8 bird and a some sick. We see the dead bird during morning choas. Earlier we noticed brownish water poo, and we treated them for coccidiocis, after another dead we did pm , nothing was discovered but fats, vitamin was prescribe to control it. 4days ago we took a dead bird for pm ,culture n sensiitivity. The pm reveal nothing,the culture reveal e-coli and was prescribe penprovit as @ yestaday. We started administering it today..some of the symtoms shown on the sickbirds is seeing then stretching their legs.. Pls how is their performance and what should I do to treat the problem and prevent future occurance. I try to alway keep them sick free but..Thank you.

After making payment for exam yestaday ,I was given a printed copy containing my name ,reg number receipt number etc. I logged in to register but the pin generated on the slip given to me in the bank was for atswa not proffesionals exam. I went to Ican office in abuja I was told to scan my printout and teller and send to phd@ican.ng.com. which I did. Av not heared from anyone yet. And the closing date was yestaday. Am so sick to my stomach right now.and there's no number to call Ican. Pls what should I do. I have sacrifice a lot to writing this diet, pls help

Pls i need urgent help and assistant. I drive a honda accord 2003 ex. I use to feel very lucky And i always praise the car because it has never disapointed Me.engine very sound and the gear very smooth u hadly notice when its selecting. Some times ago i was travelling then the car started jerking when i pressed the gas and the rpm reaches 3. But Any speed below rpm 3 it wont jerk though most times it wont jerk when the rpm gets to 3 and beyond..sometime it does.. I asked i was told it could be a sensor Problem.Well i had been driving it like that for a while now.. 2weeks ago i noticed the car makes an unusual Sound anytime its On N..but when i put to D or R it quiets Down but when i put to N the sound is high..(Guess it was a sign i dint notice>)Trouble stated a couple of days ago i noticed the car delayed to engage into the second gear I had to check to comfirm it was on D. When it eventually shifts to the second gear i noticed it wasent smooth it kinda breath, but the rest engages well. 3days ago i was driving only for me to press the gas and the car dint respond was jus Firing with out moving in one place. It later engaged in the gear but wasent able to shift to the second gear..It will seize again and then re-engage it self but wont shift to the second gear.i got a spot and parked. I called a mechanic the folowing day Which was yestaday and changeThe oil..it was burnt because i had not serviced it for a while ..he used an ordinary dextron3 oil for the service . He brough out the 2sensors and washed them wit fuel...after replacing them..it dint work instead the D on the dashboard started blinking it wasent before... It wont even engage in the gear again After the service.Now what could actually be the problem..can it be repaired and fixed. Or is replacing the gearbox the only option..Please respond.
