I am Olayiwola. Is yours actually spelt Olaiwola or is it a typo?
I'm curious!
I have almost always spelt mine that way. @ least for as long as I can remember. You remember those little pieces of paper called birth- certificates. It's spelt that way in mine grin

Pretty interesting thread. I see absolutely nothing wrong with being single at 17 or 21. I clocked 24 a few days ago. And, at the last time I checked I was single grin. I feel pretty normal. And by the way, a sound relationship with God should get your mind off of your marital status. @ least until the right person walks in through the door.
I think you are an individual whho is capable of being loved as well as loving someone. Take your time dear. wink There's no rush to these things

WebmastersRe: Doing E-Commerce from Nigeria (the 419 Stigma) by bijorium(m): 8:24pm On Aug 07, 2005
Well, if you ask me, I believe that it takes two to tango. The culpability of westerners is glaring too, seeing that many of them fall week after week to these scams(yahoo yahoo). A bad case of reaping where you did not sow. While I am against conning another man of his hard earned foreign currency, I think that some of these westerners ought to look into their own greed. angry

As for Oluwole, It has been in existence longer than I can remember. And sad as it is, it is a reflection of the rottenness in societal values  undecided

We may have to live with the stigma for a while though. I stand to be counted that there are honest Nigerians out there though. grin

There's always two sides to any discussion. And my dear, And my dear, what do you think of your son sleeping with his step-mother, say twenty three years down the line sad. Thats some food for thought. And by the way, things like this only go unpunished in the animal kingdom. Selah
TV/MoviesRe: The Lagos Lottery Game Show & Live Draw by bijorium(m): 9:15am On Jul 22, 2005
rather than throw The so called dollar equivalent of i50 naira to some individuals, have you thought about putting a smile on some kwashiorkor-ridden child's face in one of the many war-torn zones in this motherland called Africa with the 150 naira huh huh. Abo oro la so fun omoluwabi.......

TV/MoviesRe: The Lagos Lottery Game Show & Live Draw by bijorium(m): 2:44am On Jul 22, 2005
It seems to me that the target of this lottery as usual seem to be the poor unsuspecting masses. I would rather that lagosians went to a fast food joint, get a cup of ice cream. Eat it up while you think about earning an honest living in Nigeria, rather than bother your head with some quick get-rich scheme. I wonder if any ready made millionaire will be willing to part with a paltry 150 naira.
Abo oro la so fun omoluwabi rolleyes grin
PoliticsRe: Government Should Provide Food and Shelter First! by bijorium(m): 2:37am On Jul 22, 2005
I suppose that by now , most nigerians should realise that there are no more freebies. I believe that the quality of the thoughts a man carries in his heart should motivate him to provide a roof for his family.
I am not a politician, and i believe it would be fool-hardy of anyone to hang on to empty promises. Rise up to the occasion. Put a roof over the head of your family , if you havent already. Your wife will never cease to adore you grin grin
SportsRe: Who Fills Patrick Vieira's Shoes? (After Arsenal -> Juventus Transfer) by bijorium(m): 8:26pm On Jul 21, 2005
Without meanin to be sarcastic , I thought football or any other game for that matter is about teamwork. So with or without Vieira, arsenal, if they r really worth their mettle shdould be able to stand their ground.

Like the yoruba say, Igi kan o le dagbo se grin grin

CareerCisco Certification Advice, Materials by bijorium(op): 4:13am On Jul 15, 2005
Any Cisco-certified guys around here?

Hey folks,

I am looking at building a career in networking and telecoms. So I started a self-study programme towards achieving my objective [of getting Cisco-certified]. I might get some training later if I think I need it. But at the moment, I am leaving no stones unturned in making sure I blast the [Cisco] exam at a go.

I would like to know if anyone would be willing to share one or two thoughts with me: advice, materials and other stuff. Cheers. cool
InvestmentRe: Investors in the Nigerian Stock Market by bijorium(m): 3:37am On Jul 15, 2005
Try googling 'Amyn Investments'. They are a stock broking firm with some credibility. A couple of my friends have referred me  . They published a book recently WRT the topic of discussion. I am buying one later today. I hope to beat you to making some well deserved dough in the stock exchange  wink

As regards any financial transactions, it's best to have a lot of information at your disposal so you do not lose your hard earned money. Look at the news stands; I remember coming across a publication called 'Stockswatch'  . I looked through a copy once, and I must say that they did a nice job. All the best. grin

ComputersRe: USB Flash Drives In Nigeria by bijorium(op): 11:29am On Jul 03, 2005
Thanks man. i was in a bit of a haste when i posted that. I bought a flash drive recently. I think i spoilt it by downloading some stuff straight to it. Ever since, every time i plug it in, the LED light just stays on as though i was reading from it. Do you think there's anything I can do it. Or do i have to buy a new one. I will not make that kind of mistake again. Cheers wink

I thought it might be a good place to ask if anybody has had a good experience with USB flash drives in the Nigerian market. I would welcome suggestions if you have. I intend to get another one soon. Thanks cheesy
