Those who are speaking against this bill knows where they are coming from. check the history of religious disturbance in northern Nigeria, you might understand better. |

vedaxcool: The majority of what don't want the bill? I didn't know the Catholic church conducted a survey to come to this conclusion. It even sounds silly to claim powerful individuals can hijack the implementation like in Nigeria courts don't exist to seem redress. The sad thing is this people pretend to know and love secularity yet when a bill that will regulate religious behavior in line with secularism they kick really hard. Till this moment no one has refuted the bill provision by provision rather same sound bites with little contents. Oga, have you witnessed religious riot in your entire life. Hundreds are killed within minutes over mere speculations or hearsay. its best to avoid what might promote religious intolerance or taken advantage of by hardliners. |

They about a street flooded in Edo state and children crawling on walls to get to school- the picture was proven to be from Cameroon.
They claimed the Presidency is plotting of (sic) killing some useless twitter troll of theirs- we are yet to receive news of another twitter hack from them.
They lied about the quantity of items given IDPs in Agatu, now the truth is out.
Lies, lies, and more lies- that is all Peoples Democracy Party is known for. those are small and inconsequential lies (if proven to be false) compared to those that rotated out of the bucal cavity of the born great liar himself, the formal mouthpiece of the APC. |

In life we must continue to review are actions and decisions as long as we have opportunity to do dat. Better late than never. APC already denied making that promise of paying unemployed youths monthly stipend of 5000 naira. |

greenhulk: Damn. The camon c8 camera did well but for this error. So if I was wearing a shirt with a logo on the left side and I take a selfie, it will show the logo on the right side. If i raise my right hand the camera will change it to left hand. If someone has a wound on his left eye camon c8 selfie camera will change it to right eye. That is really really bad and can lead to misinformation.
Are u telling me if I am making a conference video call or interview and they ask me to raise my right hand, the camera will actually change it to left hand? Boy I don lose contract be that oh. he may have held the camera upside down and then rotated. |

I thought the education ministry has a permanent secretary who is very seasoned, how come these ridiculing flaws ain't thrashed before coming to the public. It only shows many don't want the president to succeed, some of those in his cabinet inclusive. He should just be careful except he's acting the sole administrator we use to know him as then. garfield16: We are not the ones holding you back, Yorubas don't need you and never have, Nigeria is not a do or die for us and never has been, it's nice to be part of Nigeria but not compulsory for us. In the words of Awolowo "if the East seceded, the West and the Federal Territory of Lagos would also break away from the federation” Notice he didn't say we can't let the east go....we've never needed the east. So please direct your questions at the right direction.
Your real problem is with your elite, Beleive me none of them want Biafra! you see how they are rejecting you up and down? They have too much vested interests and investments in Nigeria b ut they use you guys as pawns to whip up sentiment and when the federal govt apeases the Se guess who benefits? Exactly...the pockets of your elite, most of whom live in Lagos and Abuja. bros I thinks its better you go to bed. you may probably see in your dreams the abandoned property you hope to occupy. no further words with you because as a yoruba , you guys only knows how to talk. |
Politics › Re: Europeans Wrongly Believe Igboland Is A Region For Criminals — Ebede by bilazego(m): 8:56pm On Mar 20, 2016 |
garfield16: what exactly is your point, because I am not comparing development in the south west to south east. I am simply saying that if it bothers you that much go back home and develop your zone.
On the issue of civil war, well nobody sent you to war that you couldn't win, you can't eat your cake and have it. War has a cost, lives and property, so if you cannot win a war don't start one. People say Yoruba are cowards, no we arent cowards we choose our battles, we won't start a war we can't win out of false pride, but if we do we will fight till the end.
There were some cries of marginalization, mainly from politicians looking to line their pockets, the average yoruba man just got on with his life. Not the way you people are crying marginalization and Biafra. if we are of no use to you guys then allow us go our way. we don't know u guys to stand for any fight because you run before it starts. so don't tow that line of fighting to the end. |

The Nigerian Bureau of Statistics in conjunction with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency released the Drug related crime statistics from year 2010 – 2014. ??
Mtchew beside you report didn't state the offenders by tribe neither by personality. And we all know that there are more Ibos in SW region especially lagos than Yorubas in SE.
Mtchew mtchew let me help you. do you remember those whom general babangida executed at bar beach during his reign for drug related offences? the first and only drug offence execution in Nigeria. they were Westerners of Yoruba origin. you guys introduced the biz at a time when very little was known of it. |

garfield16: Thank-you, you have just unwittingly spoken to the misguided claims of marginalization that your people use when they agitate for Biafra. The truth is outside of Lagos and Abuja, most places in Nigeria are worse than they were 30 years ago, have lost their economic power bases etc etc. The main reason being that most people especially those with economic power and the well educated have migrated to Lagos and Abuja or are abroad. But you don't hear Yorubas complaining about Ibadan or Oyo, ado ekiti, Ijebu, Ondo or Ife being underdeveloped or marginalized. I am willing to wager that if we examine the figures, the east has seen more Tederal money between 1999 and 2015 than the SW. Like you have rightly said, these places are no better than a typical town in the east and I will say the same thing to a yoruba man who complains....what are you doing in Lagos? what are you doing in America, who do you expect to develop your towns/villages if all of you have migrated? How can an area with a dwindling middle class attract investment? We are all unwittingly developing Lagos/ Abuja and foreign countries at the expense of our ancestral zones. The thing is the Yoruba man is not that sensitive to the development of his village to give a shit. You are the ones that make so much noise about it....so go back home. where do you think I'm I writing from. I'm based in the east and I don't think any o f your western states would have seen half of the development they have today if they had been placed at the same pedestal with eastern sate after the civil. we make things out of nothing. I know how you people cried of marginalisation when Goodluck Jonathan was the President . I believe you know the size of real estates owned by easterners in Lagos and other major cities in the country |

garfield16: what I always find amazing about the Ibos is how they always blame somebody else for their problems, they are always the victims. Ibos, listen well, the reason why your areas is devasted is because all the brains and the best of the Ibos have left Iboland and are developing the economies of other lands, like America, Europe, Asia even lagos and Abuja. How can your area develop when the best of your people have all left? could you please mention 10 states outside oil producing states whose economy is better than that of south eastern states or that are more developed than the eastern states. |
