That does what actually? Think what he implied there was this: that there's no need selling Zenith to buy GTB because if GTB moves, Zenith will also move........and vice versa. UBA and Access....... move together most of the time too...... When the 4 move, Fbnh will also move......
* Another set is fidelity and fcmb....
So if you see a big gap btw the pairs, just know they will find a way to close the gap, either up or down.
** My bosses may have different view anyway and......it's not a rule. That move together like you rightly explained. What can newbies do without you? Youre just God sent 2 Likes |

The price didn't fall, there wasn't just a block move of 100k units to move the price up ni. Pastor, this is just the disadvantage.....it has its advantage too. By the time it goes up and they're selling at day's low but the price remain unchanged, you'll appreciate the rule. Do you think Nestle wouldn't have fallen far below where it reversed if not for the 100k rule? Our tutor, are you saying if one buys 100k unit of any stock(irrespective of the price), the price moves up? Is this 100k a cummulative of what all customers buy in a day or from a single buyer. Please engligten us ooo. |

you just helped the broker and not yourself. Zenith and GT move together, so, selling one to buy the other on the same day makes no money-making sense.
Welcome, you'll only grow from here. Everyone was once a rookie. Can you throw more light? By giving an example of other major stocks that does this |

Crossing, by my own understanding is when brokers trade within customers accounts by just moving certain number of units of a particular stock from one customer to another, maybe one customer wants to sell another wants to buy, they just cross it without bringing it to the floor.......but all transactions must passed thru the NSE engine, that's why we sometimes see high volumes being crossed on the engine e.g. the 61M units of GTB crossed yesterday. * Also, the crossing could be from one stockbroker to another. That's what I know. God bless your knowledge 1 Like |

The low seems to have passed. All it needs to do now is to stay up at a level. Most stocks worldwide are doing same. The wealth transfer has happened.
So na to siddon inside plane and be reading newspaper.
The money printed worldwide must enter NSE. A friend showed me the loan that his banks are offering him. It was at 0.01% per month. This is a wicked money. Money that can cause excessive price rise.
Sir, are you saying it is too late to load more? Especially on the likes of zenith, wapco, gtb, fbn?? |

Full bid means buyers wanted to buy a particular stock at the highest price trading for the day but there are no sellers.
So, this drives up the price of the stock? |

FEDERAL GOVT AFFIRMS DEREGULATION, says NO RESORT TO FUEL SUBSIDY.
• Govt to take position as OPEC meets
The Federal Government yesterday, affirmed its resolve to deregulate the downstream sector, stating that the country would no longer resort to subsidy or under-recovery if oil prices regain momentum.
If the government follows through the plan, Nigerians would begin to pay cost-reflective rates for petrol, using PPPRA’s monthly guide to NNPC and marketers on the appropriate pricing regime.
The Group Managing Director of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Mallam Mele Kyari, in a television programme monitored by The Guardian, yesterday, said the Corporation would just be another player in the downstream sector.
He said: “As at today, subsidy/under-recovery is zero. Going forward, there will be no resort to either subsidy or under-recovery of any nature. NNPC will just be another player in the market space. But we will be there for the country to sustain security of supply, at the cost of the market”...
Agenda 1 and 2 enforced. 3rd remaining.(see post above) Our leaders really need to carry on with that 3rd part. Then I shall begin to believe that they are making plans for a better tomorrow. It's important to highlight that these moves are coming a bit too late. ...but better late than never. More needs to be done though !!
I believe that the dual 'economic evil' of covid-19 and oil price slump will make most world leaders to sit up and seek ways to better their country.

When it was trading at N11, I told guys on a watsapp forum it will get to N4. They came for my head
4.90 and 4, wetin remain.
There is a strong positive divergence on the stock. But what news will move it higher is what I don't know.
Currently their result isn't OK but don't be surprised if things change which could be a catalyst for if to fly.
Breweries stocks have really been ravaged and at current prices, it seems to be a strong buy.
Recent all time high declines in brewing sector.
Imagine NBrew from N193 to N26. This is 86% decline in price.
Then Guinness from N281 to N23. This is 92% decline in price.
IB from N69.40 to N4.90. This is 93% decline in price.
I can't shout o.

I don't know what I feel about eurobond. A friend of mine that invested was charged about 97usd on 9k usd. So I suppose the 300usd will be on funds of over 30k usd SaintUlot:
My friend who i advised to invest in dollar/eurobond fund got pissed off when he got to know that he would be charged 300usd+ to make transfer from his dorm account. He exclaimed : "300usd+ transfer charge on a dollar that i bought @ the rate of 360? ,nope, kolewerk" If united capital and fbnquest had accepted he make cash deposit instead , he would have withdraw and make cash deposit because it ll cost him just a charge of 10usd to withdraw and deposit the said amount. But with the transfer he was asked to make, the money would be sent to an intermediary bank in USA 1st before the money will now hit united capital/fbn quest domiciliary account in Nigeria. I don't blame my friend though, because if i were to be in his shoes would have done the same, when i know quite alright that if i want to transfer naira conversion of such amount to naira mmf, i won't be charged more than 50 naira by the bank to make such transfer. The difference btw 50 naira and 300usd is too much. |
