Alexk2: bro., you are right and God bless you for that. what we all must do is to be the change(renewed life) we want to see in our world...we should be th light the world must see...we should add salt to our world in our own small little space.. when we do this, we'll infect/affect others around us and frm there, our message will be have a huge impart and go round. Payer and devotion to God is also very much needed...God bless! God bless you too dear. Like the Bible said ,judgment will start from the house of God(the church ),ie from we christians. looking at events these days ,one can easily see that the world have influenced the church .the world is seriously converting the church ,while the church is busy with celebrations and socializing . may God send the spirit of Elijah that will rekindle the quenched fire of revival . |

lilprinze: Smh for the kind of irresponsible people we have as leaders in this country how would we have a drug baron as the Chairman of the Organisation and Mobilisation Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). How can we progress in this country when we keep putting irresponsible people as our leaders who only know how to loot money and smoke weed. you are right ,and also ,how can we allow a man accused of the murder of late Ige,to be walking free and accusing others of corruption ? |

Eternity is where one will be forever, after exiting from this world .That's after physical death here on earth . Everyone will participate in Eternity ,both the good and the bad.Just as it's written in Hebrews 9:27"it's appointed unto men once to die, after this, the judgment of God" The just will be in Gods kingdom, the unjust to be purnished in hellfire. Seeing the way humans are doing things and the current events ,it seems that no one cares about Eternal life anymore . pls,am I wrong in my assertion ? What shall be done to re-awaken this de ad thoughts in this generation,as it will help to curb the rate of evil and atrocities going on in this generation ? your contributions are highly welcomed . |

sauceny: Whatz this bloody civilian tryna do He should leave the military to their ruling & go do what he knows how to do best "civilian ruling" I believe if those given the death sentence where found guilty shouldn't be pardoned. I mean, the army isn't jst a unified body where you make your own decisions, being an army comes with much work of full dedication & commitment in protecting your country... I think they should face the sentence passed upon them to serve as a deterrent to others trying to follow same part, besides the motto has always been clear "Obey the last order". If the Nigerian military men were chosen from nairaland,i think by now Nigeria would have been at the verge of collapse...Countries like Ghana,Sudan, Cameroon & others would have been a threat to us. The military is meant for strong hearted men,not the timid men i see over here attacking me for being mean & wicked. if they execute them by firing squad ,what will it benefit you? |

Business › Re: What Are The Requirements For A Motivational Speaker? by Billygee2u: 7:41am On Oct 07, 2014 |
joywendy: Well I found something I hope it helps
10 ways to be a succesful motivational speaker(just 5 here) 1. Do You have a Special Message to Deliver?
The greatest life coaches have something special to say, something that is derived from personal experiences. These people are successful because they speak on the basis of personal stories. Personal stories are convincing and easy to relate to.
If you are interested in a life coach career, you should determine the specifics that you want to get across. What does your audience want to hear and can you deliver that kind of message? Being too general or vague will simply minimize your chances of success before you have even gotten started.
2. You May Need a Mentor You have always been a good public speaker and you believe that a motivational speaking career is right for you. The bad news is that it seems to be much easier said than done. Motivational speakers are a very specific group of orators. They influence the lives of others and as such, they hold tremendous responsibility. Learning from the best life coaches is a good idea.
See what others are doing. Establish connections. Talk to highly professional speakers and find the right mentor who will show you the tricks of this profession. Having a mentor will help you refine your skills.
3. The Target Audience Decide what your target audience is before you start writing the motivational speeches. Each group of people will have to be approached in a specific way. If you have no idea who will be receiving your speeches, you will fail making those highly specific and relevant.
4. Work on Your Public Speaking Skills Even if you have the best personal stories and lessons to share, you will fail due to poor speaking skills. Work hard on mastering your public speaking. The best way to see what you are doing is to videotape your speeches. Once you do it, watch the records very carefully. Pay attention to your intonation, your body languages and the eye contact you establish with the audience. Learn how to sound natural and reassuring. If you need to, enroll in a public speaking course that will help you polish your skills. 5.Be Flexible! The most important rule for any professional is to maintain a degree of flexibility. Be ready to change parts of your speech at any time. The things you considered successful may fail influencing your audience. Next time, try a different approach. Weave in some humor or rely on your emotions. It all depends on your preferences. Being a good motivational speaker involves some talent and a lot of experience. Once you get started, you will discover all the specifics of being a life coach. Learning through the communication with your audience will help you perfect your skills and become highly successful. read more http://addicted2success.com/success-advice/10-steps-to-becoming-an-amazing-motivational-speaker/
