My Dear Brother and sisters, Ramadan has came and gone, when he did come, you have done the good deeds and now is going with it. what next after ramadan? Have we performed our actions in a way that fulfills the conditions for receiving mercy, forgiveness and release from the Fire? Have we fought our souls and desires and defeated them, or have we been overtaken by our customs and blind imitations? Have we fulfilled the requirements of taqwa and graduated from the Ramadan school with the diploma of the god-fearing? Many questions and numerous thoughts come to the heart of the sincere Muslim, who asks and answers with truthfulness. |
Its time to talk about life after ramadan Dear Muslims! Months, days and years are made to determine lifespan and to afford people the oppurtunity to perform good deeds. Further, death do patrol day and night to take the souls of those whose time is due and you shall be addressed on the Day of Ressurection on account of your deeds. It is then that your Lord will say: “These are only your deeds that has been recorded for you and for which I am going to reward you. So, whoever gets a good reward should be thankful to Allaah and whoever gets otherwise should only blame himself.” We leave the blessed month of Ramadan, its beautiful days and its fragrant nights. We leave the month of the Qur'an, taqwa, patience, jihad, mercy, forgiveness and freedom from hellfire… Have we fulfilled the requirements of taqwa and graduated from the Ramadan school with the diploma of the god-fearing? Have we fought our souls and desires and defeated them, or have we been overtaken by our customs and blind imitations? Have we performed our actions in a way that fulfills the conditions for receiving mercy, forgiveness and release from the Fire? Many questions and numerous thoughts come to the heart of the sincere Muslim, who asks and answers with truthfulness. Your month of Ramadan has now gone with your deeds. Let those who have committed wrong among you quickly repent and mend their ways before Door of Repentance is closed and let those who have done good continue on the same for, the best of all acts of obedience are the the ones followed up with its like. Be concerned more over the acceptance of your deeds than over the deeds itself for, Allaah does not accept deeds except from the pious ones. Also, beware of following up good deeds with bad ones because, if we say that good deeds eradicate bad ones, it is also not impossible that bad deeds destroy good ones. Brothers in faith! You were - during the just concluded month of righteous - fasting in the day, praying in the night and doing different kinds of sacrificial acts in oder to get reward and to be saved from the Fire. With the depature of this month, a stage of our live has passed. Such is how we pass days of this life in stages on our way to the everlasting abode. Indeed, continuation of good deeds at all time is character of righteous people for, acts of obedience do not have a specific time; it is rather Allaah’s unconditional right upon His servants as long as they are alive. Though, month of Ramadaan is an opportunity for the faithfuls to race with one another towards good deeds and an opportunity to direct one’s soul towards meritorious acts and keep it from vices; yet, it is quite incumbent on Muslims to remain on the path of righteousness even after Ramadaan. Worshipping Allaah should not be restricted to Ramadaan alone for, there is no end to Muslim’s worship except when he dies. What evil people those who worship only time and do not know Allaah except in Ramadaan! Dear Muslims! Certainly, the acceptance and rejection of deeds in this month have signs. Among the signs of acceptance of good deed is when it is followed up by good deeds and it is among the signs of rejection to follow up one’s good deeds with evil ones. Therefore, follow up the good deeds with its like, it will be a sign of acceptance of that good deed and follow up your evil deeds with good ones, that will indicate that those evil deeds have been overlooked. Allaah says: “Verily, the good deeds remove the evil deeds (i.e. small sins). That is a reminder (an advice) for the mindful (those who accept advice)." (Hood 11:114) The Prophet saws also said: “Fear Allaah wherever you are, follow up the evil deed with good one it will remove it and relate with people with good conduct.” (Reported by At-Tirmidhee) Let those who are determined to go back to sins after Ramadaan know that Allaah is always pleased with those who obey Him regardless of the month the obedience takes place and is angry with those who disobey Him irrespective of the month the disobedience takes place. The essence of posperity lies in long life and good deeds and a person’s continuation of good deeds without restricting it to a certain period, particular month or special place is a sign of one’s righteousness and acceptance of his good deeds. Fellow Muslims! Though Ramadaan season is now gone, yet, fasting is still recommended in other months. The Messenger of Allaah saws has recommended fasting on Mondays and Thursdays. He said: “Deeds are presented to Allaah on Mondays and Thursdays and I would like that my deeds be presented while I am fasting." It is also reported that he admonished Aboo Hurayrah ra thus: "Fasting for three days in every month is (equal to) fasting forever." (Reported by Al-Bukhaaree and Muslim). He also said: Whoever fasts in the month of Ramadaan and then follows it with six days fasting in Shawwaal has done as if he has fast for live." (Reported by Muslim) Though, night prayer during Ramadaan might have gone; yet, the night prayers throughout the year is also recommended. It has been authentically reported from the Prophet saws that "Allaah use to descend to the nearest heaven to this world when it is the last third of the night and say: 'Who is going to call Me that I may answer him? Who is going to ask from Me that I may give to him? Who is going to seek for my Forgiveness that I may forgive him?" Therefore, the most pleasing to Allaah of all acts are the ones that are continuously done. Fellow Muslims! While there are a set of youths who during the noble month of Ramadan were busy passing their time in lustful things, sins and acts of obedience, there are others who were busy doing deeds of righteousness such as I‘tikaaf in the Houses of Allaah severing all ties with fellow creatures and meditating with the Creator. They gave obedience of their Lord preference over their own desires. You would see them bowing, prostrating and reciting the Glorious Qur’aan. Such youths are the hope and pride of this Ummah. Dear Muslims! Fear Alllaah for fear of Allaah is the head of all matters. Obey Allaah and keep away from His restrictions, you will achieve His pleasure and be saved from His torment. Do not go back to sins and disobedience so as not to be entitled to His punishment. Dear brothers, thank your Lord for making you complete the fasting of this month. Enjoy your Eid by remaining consistent on the those good deeds and keep away from undesirable things that are capable of removing Allaah’s favors from you. One of our righteous predecessors said: “Each day in which no act of disobedience to Allaah is committed is Eid and each day a believer spent in acts of obedience to his Lord is Eid” Even though Ramadan is ending, we all have to make sure it stays with us. How, might you ask? Everybody knows that Ramadan lasts only for a month, 29 or 30 wonderful days. This special month is a time to get closer to Allah (SWT), physically and mentally. And we have to take care not to lose this closeness with Allah (SWT). We know that Ramadan is a very special time in our lives. In addition to the obvious, fasting from sunrise to sunset, we must also abstain from so many other things. One added bonus that comes with fasting is that we actually learn to be more kind to those around us. Since we strive to strengthen our bodies with both the physical and mental power that we need to complete our fasts, let's take that a step further and make it last throughout the year. It takes real devotion to Allah to fast for His sake only. There is a hadith narrated by Sufyaan ibn 'Abdallah (RA) who said, "O Messenger of Allah (SAW), tell me something about Islam, which I cannot ask anyone else besides you." He (SAW) replied, "Say, 'I believe in Allah' and then be steadfast (upon that)." Saheeh Muslim This hadith is proof that we are obligated, after having faith in Allah, to be steadfast in obeying Allah by performing the obligatory acts and avoiding the prohibited ones. This is achieved by following the Straight Path, which is Islam. If a Muslim lives through Ramadan and spent his days in fasting and his nights in prayer and he accustomed himself to doing acts of good, then he must continue to remain upon this obedience to Allah at all times. In fact, steadfastness after Ramadan is the greatest sign that one has gained benefit from the month of Ramadan. These are the real signs of a successful Ramadan. Furthermore, the deeds of a Muslim do not come to an end with the end of Ramadan. Rather, they continue and extend throughout the year. Allah (SWT) says, "And worship your Lord until the certainty (death) comes to you." (Al Hijr; 99) When the fasting of Ramadan comes to an end, then indeed the voluntary fast is prescribed throughout the entire year. When standing in prayer at night in Ramadan comes to an end, then indeed the entire year is a time for performing the night prayer. And if zakat ul fitr comes to an end then there is still the zakat that is still obligatory as well as the voluntary charity that lasts the whole year. This goes the same for reciting the Quran and pondering over its meaning, as well as every other good deed that was sought, for these can be performed at all times. Therefore, the zeal that was felt throughout Ramadan must continue through the whole year. It is unfortunate to find that some people perform worship by doing righteous deeds only during Ramadan. They guard strictly upon their five daily prayers, they recite Quran, and they give charity. But when Ramadan comes to an end, they grow lazy in their worship. Sometimes, they even abandon their obligation entirely. Truly, there is much reward that Allah grants his servant in the fasting of Ramadan. Allah (SWT) says in the Quran, "He wants that you must complete the same number of days and that you must magnify Allah (by saying Allah Akbar) for having guided you, so that you may be grateful to Him." (Quran 2: 185) Ramadan is a time to correct and change our habits that we have acquired over the year without the whispers of Satan. For now is the time in which Shaytan is locked up and he does not have the chance to twist our thoughts and change our good actions. The first step is always hard to take, but Ramadan is the time to do it. So after Ramadan, may we all try to keep up with our good deeds—praying at the correct times, charity to the less fortunate, and genuinely being more patient and kind with one another. May Allah (SWT) shower us with blessings, forgive our sins and grant us all Paradise. Ameen! What Have We Gained From Ramadan? Ramadan is a school of iman and a 'stop to recharge one's spiritual batteries' - to acquire one's provision for the rest of the year, For when will one take a lesson and change for better if not in the month of Ramadan? The noble month is a true school of transformation in which we change our actions, habits and manners that are in variance with the Law of Allah 'azza wa jall. “Verily, Allah does not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves.” [Ar-Ra`d, 11] If you are from those who benefited from Ramadan, fulfilled the requirements of taqwa, truly fasted the month, prayed in it with truthfulness, and strove against you soul, then praise and thank Allah, and ask Him for steadfastness upon it until you meet your death. Be not like one who has sewn a shirt and then destroyed it, Have you seen one who sewed a shirt or thawb, so when she looked at it, she liked it. Then she destroyed it pulling a thread by thread for no reason. What would people say about such a person?! Or have you seen one who earns a fortune trading throughout the day, then when the night comes, he throws away all that he earned, dirham by dirham. What would people say about such a person?! This is the condition of one who returns to sinning and evildoing after Ramadan and leaves obedience and righteous actions. So after he was favored with the blessing of obedience and enjoyment of communicating with Allah he returned to the blaze of sins and evil actions. How evil are the people who know Allah only in Ramadan! My dear ones, falling short in one's commitment to Islam after Ramadan is manifested in many ways, including: 1 – Men leaving the five prayers in congregation, after they filled mosques for Taraweeh prayers, thus going to the masjid for recommended prayers and leaving obligatory ones. 2 – Return to musical entertainment, forbidden films, women displaying their adornment beyond that which ordinarily appears thereof, free mixing etc. This is not thankfulness for blessings and favors, nor is it the sign of acceptance of one's actions, rather this is opposition to favors and absence of thankfulness. These are from signs of one's deeds not being accepted – and Allah's refuge is sought – for one who truly fasts rejoices on the occasion of `eid, praises his Lord for helping him complete the fast, and remains fearful that Allah may not accept his fasting, just as the Salaf would continue asking for acceptance of their actions in Ramadan for six months after it. From signs that one's deeds are accepted is that he or she has improved in his or her obedience to Allah `azza wa jall. “And remember when your Lord proclaimed, 'If you are grateful, I will surely increase you [in favor]…” [Ibrahim, 7] Increase you in good, faith and righteous actions. So if the servant is truly thankful to his Lord, you will see him guided to more obedience and distanced from sinfulness. Thankfulness is leaving sins, as the early Muslims said. “And worship your Lord until there comes you to the certainty [i.e. death].” [al-Hijr, 99] The Muslim must continuously be in the state of obedience of Allah, firm upon His Sharee`ah, steadfast upon His Deen, so that he or she is not of those who worship Allah only during one month or only in one place. Rather, the believer knows that the Lord of Ramadan is also the Lord of other months, and that He is the Lord of all times and places, so he is steadfast upon the Sharee`ah of Allah until he meets Him while He is pleased with him. Allah ta`ala said, “So remain on a right course as you have been commanded, [you] and those who have turned back with you [to Allah].” [Hud, 112] And, “So take a straight course to Him and seek His forgiveness.” [Fussilat, 6] And the Prophet, sallallahu `alayhi wa sallam, said, “Say 'I believe in Allah', then be steadfast.” [Muslim] -- If the fasting in Ramadan has ended, then there remains voluntary fasting, such as fasting six days in Shawwal, on Mondays and Thursdays, the three days in the middle of the month, the days of `Aashoora and `Arafat, and others. -- If standing in prayer at night during Ramadan has ended, then there remains voluntary night prayer throughout the year. “They used to sleep but little of the night.” [Adh-Dhaariyaat, 17] -- If the charity in Ramadan and zakat ul-fitr have ended, then there is the obligatory Zakat, and also there are many other open doors to charity, voluntary actions and jihad. -- Reading of the Qur'an and contemplating it is not only for Ramadan, rather it is for all times. Righteous actions are for all times and all places, so strive – O my brother and sister – and beware of laziness. And remember that it is not allowed for us to leave the obligatory actions or delay them, such as the five daily prayers on time, in congregation etc. And do not fall into forbidden actions, such as forbidden sayings, food and drinks, or by looking at or listening to what is forbidden. Be steadfast and upright upon the Deen of Allah at all times, for you do not know when you'll meet the Angel of Death. Beware of him taking you while you are in a state of sin. “O Allah, Who turns the hearts, keep our hearts steadfast upon Your Deen.” I ask Allah to accept from us and you our fasting, our prayers and other righteous actions, that our condition after Ramadan be a better one, that the state of our Ummah improves, that we are granted honour and that we truly turn to our Lord…Ameen |

THE GOVERNMENT’S GRAND FRAUD CALLED ZIMBABWEAN FARMS/INVESTMENT PROJECT IN KWARA STATE SIX YEARS ago. precisely, in 2004, the GOVERNMENT POLITICAL CABAL embarked on “agricultural revolution” ostensibly to make kwara state the food basket of the nation. For the government, the displaced Zimbabwean farmers were the magicians for the tendentious agric revolution of their serfdom. The Zimbabwean farmers, having been displaced and disposed of their farms and movables, it followed that they were coming to kwara state, Nigeria, financially unclothed. But despite the material and financial unclothedness of the imported farmers, the SARAKIS characteristically referred to them as ‘INVESTORS’ for whom Kwara state must mortgage the present and the future so as to attract, maintain and sustain By and under what is now known as ‘THE COLLABORATIVE AGRICULTURAL AGREEMENT’ the unprecedented perpetual looting, diversion and conversion of the resources of kwara state and its poor people began in earnest and in full and unmitigated scal. Under ‘THE COLLABORATIVE AGRICULTURAL AGREEMENT’ Kwara State Government was to provide and make available to the “god sent” Zimbabwean farmers; 1.1000 hectares of land to each of the first set of fifteen (15) Zimbabwean farmers.(15,000 Hectares in the first in instance.) 2. Good road network to the farms 3. Domestic water supply from a borehole per farm. 4. Adequate security at the farm house of each farmer, 5. Electricity supply to all the farms, 6. Conducive bungalow house of up to 2,500 Sq. ft. complete with requisite amenities such as; (i) 200 KVA Generator, (ii) Adequate storage sheds; (iii) Fencing of the farmlands; 7. To secure; (i) PIONEER STATUS, (ii) Exemption from tax liabilities, (iii) Duty free concession; and (iv) Other exemption for financial advantage; From the appropriate Government Authorities /Agencies; 8. A LOAN of $250,000 to each farmer by the Kwara State Government 9. A LOAN of $250,000 to each farmer by a BANK chosen by the farmer with the Kwara State Government as the Guarantor; 10. Procurement of entry Visas, Work and Resident Permits for the farmers and their families and employees. LAND ACQUISITION FOR THE ZIMBABWEAN FARMERS BY SARAKIS. In line with the agreement, Sariki forcefully took the lands of the people of TSONGA DISTRICT of EDU L.G.A.in the name of acquisition. The attempts by the natives to resist the illegal and unlawful takeover of their lands for transfer to foreigners met brutal oppression the law enforcement agents who were savagely and ruthlessly deployed by SARAKI. In the process some of the natives were killed, many maimed or injured and many sent to prison. The acquisition and transfer of the natives’ lands to the Zimbabweans was against the LAND USE ACT 1978 which allows Govt to take over lands from people only for OVERRIDING PUBLIC INTEREST and FORBIDS Govt from taking from one person for the purpose of transferring same to another Nigerian talk‐less of foreigners. LOANS TO THE ZIMBABWEN FARMERS. The SARAKIS gave the first set of fifteen of their Zimbabwean employees $250,000 USD each and each also obtained $250,000 USD the Intercontinental Bank PLC / Guaranty Trust Bank PLC with the Kwara State Govt as the Guanrantor. Not done, SARAKI also used their rubber stamp ,the KWARA STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY , to pass a ‘RESOLUTION’ using the state monthly ALLOCATIONS from the Federation Account to guarantee another loan of N650,000,000.00 obtaied by the Zimbabwean farmers in the name of KWA‐ZIMBO ENTERPRISES LTD from the Nigerian Agricultural Cooperative and Rural Development Bank. NACRDB() KWA‐ZIMBO ENTERPRISES LTD defaulted in the repayment of the principal and interest and when the NACRDB wanted to enforce the IRREVCABLE STANDING PAYMENT ORDER (ISPO) given by the Kwara state govt on the state monthly allocations, the Saraki arranged and obtained a RE‐FINANCE LOAN from the FIRST BANK PLC in the sum of N650,000,000.00, this time in the name of SHONGA FARM HOLDINGS NIG LTD. Another GRAND FRAUD A consortium of five banks, at the instance of SARAKI arranged a syndicated loan of about N2, 000,000,000.00 for the farmers. The loan is also guaranteed by the Kwara state Govt. Six years after , all the LOANS AND THE ACRUED INTERESTS remained unpaid while the impact of the farm project is not felt in either Kwara state r Nigeria. The situation now is that KWARA STATE is now burdened with DEBTS running to about N10, 000,000,000.00 in the name of Zimbabwean farm project. CONVERSION OF THE KWARA STATE FUNDS AND RESOURCES BY SARAKI, While by the questionable so called COLLABORATIVE AGREEMENT, each farmer is expected to form and register a COMPANY either alone or in conjunction with ‘interested investors’ what has come out of the project is ‘NEW NIGERIA FARM’ Findings at the COPORATE AFFAIRS COMMISSION (C.A.C.) shows that the company known as NEW NIGERIA ENTERPRISES LIMITED is wholly owned by SARAKIS. NEW NIGERIA. ENTERPRISES LTD with R.C.NO:10115 was registered on 10th May, 1972 with DR. SOLA SARAKI and FLORENCE MORENIKE, (SARAKI’WIFE) as the Subscribers and the Directors By Sections 36 and 37 of the COMPANIES & ALLIED MATTERS ACT, a new business cannot be registered or be allowed to operate in or with a name so close to or resembling an existing registere name. ALSO investigations at the CAC revealed that the name NEW NIGERIA FARM is not registered. This therefore, lends credence to the allegation that all the official and banks documents relating to the farm project have been changed to SRAKIS’. The result is that the farm project is the property of SARAKIS with the Zimbabweans as their employees and the Kwara State the EBTOR either as a LENDER OR as a GUARANTOR of various questionable loans, It is noteworthy that despite billions of Naira hanging on the neck of kwara state, the SARAKIS in the 2010 Budget allocated close to N1, 000,000,000.00 to the Songa Farm Project of the family. By this singular fraud, the Sarakis have mortgaged the future of the generations yet unborn of Kwara state while enriching themselves and their family in billions of the people’s resources. |

Saraki dynasty, a joke taken too far –Princess Gambari, AC Chieftain Princess Bilikis Tinuola Gambari, an Action Congress (AC) candidate in the 2007 elections for the Kwara Central Senatorial district was cornered at the Headquarters of the Police Command, Ilorin, Kwara State by LAYI OLANREWAJU with other Journalists in Ilorin. She bares her mind on the repression of opposition using some police officers. Saraki advertisement Excerpts: How did it happen? The boys, two of them, Yakubu Adewole Agodi and Yisak Abdul Rasheed were pasting posters for Action Congress at around 10pm while men from Adewole Police station swooped on them and arrested them for doing what they termed an illegality. By morning, the case had been transferred to the police headquarters. I don’t know when such act became a crime. When the ruling PDP members paste their own posters, police see it as legal, but when it’s our turn it is illegal. This is how they have been harassing members of the opposition to prove government claims that there is no credible opposition in Kwara again. Are you saying that the government sent the police to arrest your members? No, I don’t think that the government would condescend so low. I suspect it’s the mischievous attempt by some overzealous policemen to win the attention and sympathy of government. I don’t know for whatever reason, but if the reverse proves to be the case, then it is unfortunate and unhealthy for democracy in Nigeria. So, have you been able to secure the release of your boys or some charges pressed against them? Yes they have been released with no charges leveled against them but the damage has been done already. These are boys in their early 20s with the zeal to work for the party as volunteers. After being harassed and maltreated, how do we find them to volunteer for us at other times. That is the reason I had to shelve every comfort and cancel appointments to stand by them at times like this. How would your party put an end to such spate of harassment and intimidation? This is where the press comes in. Your people would be required to help us. When you see it happen like this and you report it adequately, you are not only doing us a favour, you are defending the nascent democracy in Nigeria . 2011 is around the corner, what advice do you have for your supporters and loyalists? First and foremost, I need to let our people know that they are responsible for the woes that befall them by not standing up to perform their civic responsibilities. You have to go out and register to vote. When its time to vote, don’t be too busy to go and cast your vote. All those slots that are left unused are the spaces you leave to allow your oppressors to rig and impose candidates on you. There is no magic to such. Any wise person who refuses to participate in election would suffer the rule of the oppressors and when you complain they would rightly tell you that you were not the ones who put them there. So, if they sit on your head to steal your money, you have indirectly given them the go ahead to oppress you. Take a look at 2011 My coming into politics in 2007 was an introductory lesson. Then, I didn’t know where to go and whom to talk to. This coming 2011 is going to be a more serious business. Go to town and ask people, they are tired and fed up with this government. Our people are frustrated, but they don’t know what to do. They believe that until this Saraki dies in old age we can’t be free from his political web, but I say it’s a lie. Kwara people are wiser than ever. They are more determined to flush out his oppressive dynasty. He has caused lot of disharmony between Ilorin people and other parts of the state. The Igbomina, Ibolo, Nupe, Baruteen and others don’t like Ilorin people simply because of the oppressive political style of this impostor. I want to implore these people to let us join hands to fight this common enemy. Ilorin people want him defeated as much as the rest of Kwara want him out. Ilorin people are friendly and God fearing. We are not part of his arrangements, and as you may seem to think, we are not beneficiaries of his manipulations. He’s only using Ilorin as his base to slap on the rest of Kwara. The few cliques that benefit from his actions are dissidents. Others are friends of his governor son that come from as far as Lagos-Maiduguri etc to take big contracts. Ilorin people as with the rest of Kwara don’t benefit because they fear that if our people become economically buoyant, they would rebel. They make the people go poorer, so that they would be easy to govern. An end has come to all these. I overheard that he is ceding the right to choose a successor to his son. It’s a joke taken too far. People from other states call us Maalu (Cows) but we are not. We are just peace loving and would go any length sacrificing our comfort for peace. But everything that has a beginning must have an end. The end to his reign of oppression has come. Giving our people N50 and eba fortnightly is insulting to our mothers that follow him. Our mothers need to be enlightened on this. There are poor people in Osun , Niger , all over Nigeria ; why should an individual now portray our people as if they are so poor that without his benevolence they won’t eat. Look at it logically; it’s not as if I have anything against Saraki. Some people even see it as if I am fighting him, no! But right from my days as a kid I hate folding my hands when people are being cheated. Being born a Princess is a God given leadership mandate that I must be on the side of the people. Even if I become a Senator today, I have tenure of four years, but as a Princess, so I was born, and so I would die. As a community head, born to a royal family, it will be cowardly of me to shy away from freeing my people from this political bondage and I have 100 percent assurance of victory. If we say we don’t want trouble, trouble will chase us into our very bed rooms. It is better we slug it out with oppressors and lets know who wins between light and darkness. We are the light, voice of the people, voice of God. They are the darkness, tormenting the poor helpless people of our state. I have counted the cost, I know it can’t be easy, because freedom is not free but the beauty of it is that we can achieve it. We are almost there; it would be freedom at last. Some say I might be killed. I have insured my life with God and only someone who can defeat God would defeat me; what an impossibility. So I am not fighting anyone for personal gains but in the interest of the people. But you are fighting your brother, the Emir too? Again I say no! That I have ideological difference with the Emir, my brother is not to mean we are fighting. As the father of all in Ilorin , he knows what is right to do. But if he does the contrary, we must stand up as a people with the same blood in our veins, royal blood, to correct him. Ilorin people revere the Emirate stool, they can’t tell him he is wrong but we are his siblings. We should be able to uphold justice and fair play. But, Sorry the issue between me and my brother is not political. Let’s leave that out. Ok, as a princess is it not out of place to be in politics? You are wrong or perhaps you are not abreast of history. Great northern politicians, too many to mention are from royal backgrounds. The Dosunmus, the Adeniji Adeles are all from royal backgrounds. It is not against my religion and it’s not against the will of my people. For 2011, I see victory boldly written for the people of Kwara and shame to the oppressors. Go and write it down, you will say I said so. Which office are you looking at in the next elections? Let’s get to the bridge before crossing it. Whatever my people decide to give me to do is what I’ll do. Are you likely to cross to another party since AC seems weakened in Kwara State ? That is your own definition and opinion. I have told you earlier that our people are being harassed using apparatus of government and you are saying our party is dead or weakened; let me tell you, Action Congress members are men and women of integrity, that are determined to remain loyal. Those that defected are quitters who don’t win in any race. I tell you that whoever wants to lick honey embedded in a rock must not mind the damage done to the axe used in breaking the rock. Those who defected are still welcome back like prodigal sons, when they have learnt their lessons. |

ReachRich:why do u guys always see the negative side of things alone. yes, Nigeria is not good at record keeping. 1. you talked about the oluwole boys, but the question is, how did the boys in oluwole started and why? hardship. when u re hungry, u can think of anything. they started by thinking away out of there hunger. but when we have a system where people will no longer be hungry, they can also think of better things. 2. some people can claim even a million naira with different names, yes. but we can't avoid sleeping because we don't want to die. if you close your eyes because of one bad man, 100 good men will pass you by. some people are involve in criminal activities not because they wanted to, but because they don;t have the willpower to cope hard situations, if they have a choice, it will definitely reduce crime rate and make people think in the right direction |
