THERE IS NO FORCE THAT CAN STOP AN IDEA WHOSE TIME HAS COME. THE TIME FOR FREEDOM FOR THE GOOD PEOPLE OF KWARA STATE. THE PEOPLE ARE READY AND NO BODY CAN STAND BEFORE A MOVING TRAIN Less than one week to the April poll, the gubernatorial candidate of the Democratic People’s Party, DPP, in Kwara State, Mr. Gbenga Olawepo continued his campaign last week with a visit to Lafiagi, Bacita and other communities in Edu Local Government Areas of the State. He also embarked on a tour of communities like Agbamu, Oro, Esie, Omu-Aran, Oko and Arandun, all in Irepodun Local Government Areas. Earlier, he had visited Jebba, Bode – Saadu, Shao and the university town of Malete, in Moro Local Government. In all the places visited, the message was the same: Kwara shall rise and shine again. Olawepo explained that his government was genuinely committed to the revitalisation of the industrial life of the State which has been destroyed. “Jebba and Bacita used to be major industrial towns, employing thousands of our people directly and indirectly. Today the industries are dead, and our people wallow in poverty,” Olawepo said, promising to resuscitate these industries and build more in all parts of the State. Olawepo added that his programme will also touch on education, health and poverty alleviation, urging the people to the vigilant and make their votes count this time around. “For everything there is a season, there is a time for everything under the sun; for Kwara, the season for change has come, a time to say no to slavery and poverty and say yes to freedom, progress and prosperity”, Olawepo charged the crowd of supporters. He also used the trip to pay homage and sensitise community leaders, opinion leaders and traditional rulers on his ambition and on the need for the people to take an active interest in the forthcoming election. He decried the abject neglect of critical infrastructures and social services in many communities by the government and promise a quick redress if voted into power. “For eight years, they were in power, and roads in Jebba, Bacita are still like this, what do they want to tell you again. Yet, they still want you to vote for their stooge. We must say no with our vote,” he said. On worker’s welfare, he promised to increase their salary and improved on their general welfare. “Kwara workers are the least paid in the country. There is money in Kwara to increase worker’s pay if we stop waste and stealing,” emphasising that Kwara has got about N400 billion from the Federation Account in eight years without anything to show for it. He also assured them of his readiness to lessen the burden of the poor by making education more affordable, promising that his government will pay the NECO and WAEC fees of Kwara pupils, and reduce the current high tuition fee paid at the State University All the traditional rulers visited gave their traditional blessings and prayed for the actualisation of his ambition. The enthusiastic crowd expressed their love for the candidate and his party’s programme. They also urged him to fulfil his God-given mandate to free Kwarans from bondage, by breaking the back of their oppressor in the forthcoming poll. The DPP candidate continues his State-wide campaign tour with a visit to other Local Government Areas this week. Meanwhile the Gbenga Olawepo Campaign Organisation has denied what it called a wicked lie being peddled around to the effect that its candidate, Hon. Gbenga Olawepo is ‘working for’ the candidate of a certain political party. “For the avoidance of any doubt, we wish to state that our candidate, Hon. Gbenga Olawepo is not, and cannot work for any other candidate. Like they did in 2007, these rumours are being circulated by the losing candidates who have been intimidated by the rising popularity of our party and our candidate. For the record, our candidate, Hon. Olawepo has been a consistent leader for change in Kwara whose history of struggle dated back to over 25 years. Under the current democratic dispensation, since 1999, Olawepo has fought consistently on the side of the people against the oppressors of the people. Whereas many of our opponents who were ‘in battle’ in 2007 had gone back to their paymaster, Olawepo remains the only candidate that did not decamp since the last election,” a statement by the organisation said. The campaign organisation has also commended the Police authority in Ilorin for its pro-active action in declaring about 148 miscreants wanted in across the State. This is seen as a positive signal from the Police to remain neutral and maintain order during the poll.

We urge our supporters to ignore this wicked lie and continue to support our candidate, Hon. Gbenga Olawepo. For purpose of clarity, we wish to state that Hon. Gbenga Olawepo is not in discussion, and has no reason to ‘work for’ people who are less than him in political stature and economic standing. Our candidate is a successful businessman whose record in business and politics cannot be matched by his competitors. Our party, the Democratic People’s Party, DPP remains the largest party with the largest structures across the State. We are confident victory and does not need to align with anybody to coast to victory. Signed Oluwasegun Abifarin Director, Media and Publicity

This is the voice of reasoning in kwara, and only the best is accepted. We shall collectively see to the end of Saraki and must not take a new godfather, so its clear that rejecting Saraki is a must and accepting[b] Tinubu [/b]is not an option. God took the people of Israel from their overlord (Pharaoh) and gave them total freedom through a man without a godfather and a man of integrity (Moses). Today,God has decided to take the state of harmony (Kwara) from the hands of our pharaoh (Saraki) [/b]to give us a total freedom through another man of integrity [b](Gbenga Olawepo). Some scrupulous element amongs us are trying to change the will of god in our state by introducing another more ruthless foreign overlord that we all must collectively reject by supporting the man, who shall by the grace of God take us to the land of promise. WHY OLAWEPO 1. Because his manifesto is a realistic agenda for economic development 2. Because he is a man that stands without a godfather i.e 100% loyalty lies with the people 3. Because he led Kwara Tech's student now Kwara Poly to fight against injustice in the late 80s 4. Because he led Nigerian Students to victory hiagainst the military in 1989. ANTI SAP RALLY. 5. Because he is not Dele Belgore who betrayed is blood brother (Kale Belgore) to serve is lagos godfather 6. Because he is not Fatai Ahmeed who drained Society General Bank,Trade Bank and kwara treasury to serve is overlord. 7.Because he is not Gbemi Saraki who spent 12 years at the National Assembly without any meaningful initiative contribution and no any reasonable constituency project. 8. Because he is a man who do not see kwara state Governorship position as a do or die affair, and neither did he see it as a personal business. 9. Because he is a man whose life history is the fight for truth, justice and equity. Support the truth,Equity and justice is certain. Vote Gbenga Olawepo 4 Governor |

http://www.thenigerianvoice.com/nvnews/38081/50/kayode-ajulo-the-beautiful-one-for-abuja-senatoria.html Good or bad, somebody must be involved in politics, if good people run away, then they have no right to complain when bad people take over. However, good people need wisdom from Above to sail the murky waters of Nigerian politics. ” – RKO As an advocate for good young men and women joining Nigerian politics, nothing gladdens my heart more knowing that Kayode Ajulo, the young Abuja based human rights lawyer will be running for the lone FCT Senate position under the banner of Labour Party, succumbing to the beckon of reason to change the social order. To say I was elated is an understatement knowing full well how much conscientious Nigerians with genuine altruistic intentions detest involvement in politics because of the general perspective that it is a dirty game that is characterised by violence, intolerance, money politics political assassination and many unbecoming acts; and dominated mostly by men of questionable character. The political landscape is so filthy because good men and women have abandoned the stage for men and women of little virtue to have a field day. The cleaning of a dirty room must certainly be from the inside. Nigerian youth need to arise for this new social order as they are the real breath of fresh air. Politics itself is not a dirty game, it is the so called players who really play it dirty. And anyone who is tired of the way our country is being run (or ruin) should set to be involved at a level or the other. A journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step. Until we are ready to come in and show the old order politicians how it should be done, we may never get it right. The courage of the likes of Ajulo should be applauded for daring to tread the path many have deserted for the professional politicians who hardly have any noble cause, many of whom would not stop at anything to get to the offices. Since he declared his intention about a fortnight ago on Channels TV, two other young and conscientious Nigerians have indicated their interests in the Senate. In a statement on how he has inspired a re-awakening of the youths in seeking political offices, he says “It is one of my goals that Senate should not be old people’s home or a place for retirees and pensioners. Nothing should stop us, what we need is to incite ourselves to participate in this electoral process and cease complaining.” At 36, Kayode Ajulo is a cerebral lawyer with an extensive legal practice who has been living in Abuja since his undergraduate days at University of Jos. He is a real son of the soil. He bagged a Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B. (Hons.) at the University of Jos in Nigeria (1999) and was called to the Nigerian bar in 2001. He also obtained his Master’s of Laws degree (LL.M.) in 2006 from the same university. Ajulo is a member of the Avant Garde International, International Association of Human Rights Lawyers, Nigerian Red Cross, the Nigerian Institute of Management, the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) and International Bar Association (IBA). He has been in very active advocacy campaign for global good governance and democracy as well being one of the leading voices against corruption, nepotism and injustice in Nigeria. Ajulo was an executive of Students Union Government and held several positions in the Nigerian Students umbrella body, the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS). He is the Founder/Chairman of the Board of Egalitarian Mission, Africa, a Non-Governmental Organization that is maintaining and promoting the belief that all people are, in principle, equal and should enjoy equal social, political, and economic rights and opportunities. He also coordinates the activities of Free-A-Prisoner-A-Day (FAPAD) an initiative of Egalitarian Mission, Africa that ensure that at least a prisoner/detainee is released each day. He has won several international and local awards for his contributions to social justice and rights campaign. And in recognition of this, he was honoured with a prestigious traditional Chieftaincy title of Bamofinlewe of Akure kingdom. Ajulo was nominated by National Waves Magazine as “The Most Enterprising Young Lawyer in Nigeria in 2009 and Legal Personality of The Year - 2009 by Press Gallery. Kayode believes that if you believe that all that is necessary for evil to succeed is for good men to do and say nothing, then, you have to do something. ifyalways:---- 1.Does that rule of 'theory ONLY' apply when its parent to child?A mum surely can touch her daughter's private parts in order to drive home certain points. ![]() WHAT POINT IS THERE TO DERIVED BY TOUCHING? NOTHING, 2.First,what abt Hausa culture,i didn't quite get that line.I don't see teaching your child abt contraceptives as encouraging them to be wild . . .the society we live in today calls for total education which includes sound sexual educating ,the best education one can get is from the home.Again that line was quite contradictory,u started with don't teach and ended with teach but encourage the kids to make the right choice. THE INTRODUCTION OF CONDOMS AS INCREASE THYE LEVEL OF SEX IN THE TEENAGERS, AND ITS NOT ADVISED .Young children as in 7 to 15? I wud personally subscribe that for adults . . . 18 upwards. 18 ABOVE IS D EDUCATED AGE, BUT EVEN CHILDREN OF 13 ARE SOME TIMES FULLY MATURED. |

Question and answer about sex. i am coming up with a clear write ups on it just stay tuned with this from a search. Sex Education Acceptable In Islam "There is no shame in knowing one's religion. Ask everything that you do not understand." Islamic Scholar, Sheikh Sanusi Gumbi of Kaduna, Nigeria, is interviewed by Ilyasu Ibn Muhammad. Q: Still, at what age should a child know about sexual intercourse? Gumbi: In modern times, a child of primary school, say age seven, should start knowing these things, before he/she becomes fully mature. Q: At what age should a child be taught sex education? Gumbi: As we all know, there is nothing which Islam has not taught its followers. Sex education in Islam is taught theoretically and not practically. If a child is being taught sex education it is not permissible for his teacher to come into body contact with him during the period of study. As long as a person has reached the age of puberty, it is not permissible for him/her to see the thigh of another person. However, sex education can be taught properly. When we look at the book of Buhari, a hadith from the Prophet (PBUH) shows where he (the Prophet) was teaching his companions how to perform purification bath, he said, "if he sits in between her (thighs) and exhausts her, then a purification bath becomes compulsory." Here, he only made a statement which explains how intercourse may take place, but he did not say come and sit here let me demonstrate how it is done. Therefore when teaching, there is no harm in explaining how it is done. There is even no harm in drawing on the board, but not when the teacher and his students come in contact. We have books in Islam, which explain the purification bath, what spoils ablution; some of these things explains how the sperm or semen is emitted. Q: What is the Islamic perspective on masturbation. Is it proper for young children to learn it? Gumbi: Whatever it is that Allah has ordered mankind to adhere to and forbid them from, there is no harm in young children knowing about them. They should know them thoroughly and then learn their virtues and vices. All that matters is that they should not see them being done practically, so that they will not attempt doing it. Q: Is it proper for children to start knowing about sexual oriented vices like homosexuality at such age? Gumbi: Yes, it is in Islamic books of jurisprudence and history. It has shown that homosexuality and their likes exist. Children should be taught about this, likewise the punishment for it. If you go to our settlements in Northern Nigeria, remote areas where we grew up, you will find young children learning about these things. They learn about them and their punishments, so that by the time they grow up and mature, they will know how to deal with such cases. They should know that it is forbidden. Q: What is the Islamic view on contraception and what effect does it have on children knowing about them? Gumbi: Teaching children about contraceptives such as condom, is like encouraging them to go and have sex, because in the Hausa culture, what makes one to migrate to another area is the issue of pregnating a woman out of wedlock. With the introduction of condoms, these people of shameful character have found an avenue to do so as they wish. Therefore it has become necessary for children to know that these things have negative effects, even if they have advantages. They should know that it should be used when lawfully married. Q: In this part of the country, the mention of sexuality education makes people jittery due to lack of the knowledge of fiqh. Or is it the normal culture here? Gumbi: People here like to wear the garb of ignorance whereas they know what is true. Somehow they are 100 years backwards. Even what they read in the fiqh books have not fully been comprehended. When in the past sexuality education was not taught, it led people to pregnanting women out of wedlock, which is very shameful. Islam is not against theoretical sex education. It only frowns at the practical aspect. Sex is a natural thing. no animal is taught it. it happens naturally. Q: Is it permissible for young children to know the intensity of sexual arousement, like where to touch, how a partner should react, and other heated sensations, which cannot be mentioned here? Gumbi: If it is all in explanation, there is no fault. In Abu Hanifah's school of thought, he said, there is no harm for a person seeking marriage to smell the lady he intends marrying and vice versa and there is also no harm for them looking at each other properly, because they are expected to be life partners. there is no harm in children knowing all these things. All that matters is that there should be no practicals. As a young man growing up, there was a time my Mallam [teacher] was teaching me, you know how raw Sokoto Hausa is [the local language], he said penis in Hausa, he said virgina in Hausa and then was explaining how one enters the other then I laughed, he cautioned me not to laugh and said that "fiqhu cannot be taught without explanation." Even the Prophet (PBUH) was asked by a woman as is narrated by a Hadith reported by Aisha. The woman asked what the Islamic injunction of a woman who sees what a man sees, she was referring to wet dreams, because a woman can have a wet dream just as a man does. Before the Prophet (PBUH) was able to answer, Aisha said to the woman "why are you asking such a question? do you want to embarrass us in front of the Prophet?" the Prophet then said there is no shame in knowing one's religion. Ask everything that you do not understand. Q: What is the Islamic view on abortion? Gumbi: Abortion in Islam is haram (forbidden). However, there is the permissible abortion where a married woman is concerned, where it is discovered that if a child would become a nuisance to people if it was born with some deformity or something of that nature. Now, questions where thrown to scholars, where it was agreed that abortion is haram, except in a case where the foetus has not yet matured to become a living being. Q: Still on sex education, some have the view that sex education should be left as parent's responsibility. What is your view? Gumbi: There are schools where human mannequins are brought in front of the class and these mannequins are used to demonstrate the sexual act. Muslims have frowned at such demonstrations because children would practice it when it is practically shown to them. However, it has to be taught because children will mature and like we have been stressing, it should be taught theoretically, so that when these children mature, they will know what to do in the light of difficult circumstances and situations that arise in relation to sexual intercourse. follow the forbidden sex practice here |
lets learn everyday to be well informed about what our religion teaches about every aspect of our life. The sexual aspect of life has three basic purposes: 1. Conservation of the human race, and continuity of its kind until it reaches the total number of human beings intended by Allah’s (SWT) leave to experience life in this world, to fulfill the divine purpose, and to show gratitude to its Creator. 2. Ejection of bodily fluids from the body, otherwise, suppression or retention of congested semen can cause various kinds of serious illnesses. 3. Fulfillment of one’s desire, satisfaction of one's sexual pleasure, and enjoyment of this blessing. The latter is the only pleasure of such intercourse which is also provided in the heavenly paradise, whereby, therein three is neither ejaculation, natural discharge of bodily fluids, nor reproduction. Sex is Good for You Learned physicians find that sexual intercourse yields essential health benefits. Galen attributes semen to the elements of fire and air, and describes its humors as hot and moist. This is because semen is rich in prostaglandins, which are hormonelike fatty acids found throughout the body and particularly in semen. Prostaglandins are primary nutrients that affect essential body processes, including blood pressure, metabolism, and body temperature among others. Hence, understanding the value of this most unmitigated and purest form of blood an its preciousness requires great consideration in discharging it. This means to wisely value the reasons behind dispensing of this precious water of life for either conceiving a child, or emitting it through lawful sexual intercourse upon congestion. In fact, congested semen which are retained for an extended period can cause various illnesses and infirmities, including obsession, habitude, lunacy, and even insanity, and sometimes, engaging in lawful sexual intercourse may aid in the recovery from such illnesses. On the other hand, congestion and prevalence of semen for an extended period can cause its corruption, and turns it into a harmful toxin that the body cannot easily dispose of. However, sometimes, nature produces a spontaneous and involuntary emission of excess semen, usually during sleep, and without sexual intercourse. Some learned predecessors have concluded that the human being should pledge: 1. To walk at least a certain minimum distance every day. 2. To feed his stomach at regular intervals, and not to extend fasting from food beyond the religious requirement. 3. Not to abstain from having lawful sexual intercourse, for a water well drains out if its water if its not used regularly. Imam Muhammad ibn Zakariyya once said: "Abstaining from sexual intercourse for an extended period weakens one’s nervous system, can cause obstruction of the urethra, and shrinks the penis." He added when he observed some people who vowed temporary abstention from sexual intercourse, that their sexual energy diminished, they suffered general weakness of their bodies, became doleful, lost their desire, and their digestive system became corrupt. Hold on, Only Lawful Sex Other benefits of lawful sexual intercourse include protecting one’s eyes from looking at what is unlawful, preserving one’s chastity, controlling one’s desire and lust against what is unlawful, and providing the same for his or her spouse. This will certainly provide the believing man and woman with innumerable benefits in this world and in the hereafter. Imam Ahmad alluding to abstention from sex, once said: "I exercise patience when fasting from food and drink, though it is still difficult." He also reported in his collection of correct prophetic traditions that Allah’s Messenger (SAW) encouraged the believers to get married, saying: "Get married, and conceive many children for I shall take pride in your number on the day of judgment." Ibn Abbass (RA) narrated that Allah’s Messenger (SAW) said: "I get married, eat meat, sleep, stand up in night prayers, fast, and break my fast. Whoever disdains from my traditions (Sunnah) is not one of my followers." He (SAW) also said: "O young men whoever among you has the means to establish a family, he should get married, for marriage preserves the chastity of one’s eyes and sexual organ, and whoever cannot afford to establish a family, he must fast from desiring sex, for abstention in that case will protect him from sin." Ibn Abbass (RA) one said: "We recognize that marriage is the best solution for two people who are in love." It is also narrated in the two collections of correct prophetic traditions that Allah’s Messenger (SAW) said: Allah’s Messenger (SAW) also encouraged people to choose the young and fertile. On this subject, Mu’qal bin Yasar related that a man said to Allah’s Messenger (SAW): "I found a beautiful woman from a noble family but she cannot bear children, should I marry her? Allah’s Messenger (SAW) replied, "Nay." The man came back and asked a third time and asked the same question, Allah’s Messenger (SAW) turned to his companions and said: "Choose in your wives the fertile and the affectionate, for I shall take pride in your number on the day of judgment." Hmmm, So how about some Tips? Imam al-Tirmithi narrated that Allah’s Messenger (SAW) said: "It is among the traditions of Allah’s Messengers to marry, to brush their teeth, to anoint themselves with perfume, and to be circumcised." Prior to engaging in sexual intercourse, it is necessary for the husband to express his affection and love for his wife by touching her, caressing her, kissing her, and sometimes sucking her tongue. Jabir bin ‘Abdullah narrated that Allah’s Messenger (SAW) enjoined upon a man not to engage in sexual intercourse before caressing his wife. It is also a prophetic tradition to take a complete ritual ablution (ghusl) after engaging in sexual intercourse and before retiring to sleep, and at least, to take a ritual ablution (wudu), should that man desire to reengage in sexual intercourse anew. Upon climax, the innate heat transfuses throughout the entire body, and by taking a complete ritual ablution, the water refreshes one’s spirit, and ensures cleanliness and ritual purity. It also rejuvenates the body’s innate heat, musters its caloricity, and helps the gametogenous process. Almighty Allah (SWT) says: "Verily, We have created man from Nutfah drops of mixed semen (discharge of man and woman), in order to try him, so We made him hearer, seer. (Al-Insan 76:2) |

In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful [5:1] O you who believe, you shall fulfill your covenants. Permitted for you to eat are the livestock, except those specifically prohibited herein. You shall not permit hunting throughout Hajj pilgrimage. GOD decrees whatever He wills. [5:2] O you who believe, do not violate the rites instituted by GOD, nor the Sacred Months, nor the animals to be offered, nor the garlands marking them, nor the people who head for the Sacred Shrine (Ka`bah) seeking blessings from their Lord and approval. Once you complete the pilgrimage, you may hunt.* Do not be provoked into aggression by your hatred of people who once prevented you from going to the Sacred Masjid. You shall cooperate in matters of righteousness and piety; do not cooperate in matters that are sinful and evil. You shall observe GOD. GOD is strict in enforcing retribution. This day [all] good foods have been made lawful, and the food of those who were given the Scripture is lawful for you and your food is lawful for them. And [lawful in marriage are] chaste women from among the believers and chaste women from among those who were given the Scripture before you, when you have given them their due compensation, desiring chastity, not unlawful sexual intercourse or taking [secret] lovers. And whoever denies the faith - his work has become worthless, and he, in the Hereafter, will be among the losers. Strongest among men in enmity to the believers wilt thou find the Jews and Pagans; and nearest among them in love to the believers wilt thou find those who say, "We are Christians": because amongst these are men devoted to learning and men who have renounced the world, and they are not arrogant. And you will certainly find that the people most hostile against the believers are the Jews and the ones who ascribe partners to Allah. You will certainly find that the closest of them in friendship with the believers are those who say, .We are Christians, That is because among them there are priests and monks,46 and because they are not arrogant. Thou wilt find the most vehement of mankind in hostility to those who believe (to be) the Jews and the idolaters. And thou wilt find the nearest of them in affection to those who believe (to be) those who say: Lo! We are Christians. That is because there are among them priests and monks, and because they are not proud. And do not argue with the People of the Scripture except in a way that is best, except for those who commit injustice among them, and say, "We believe in that which has been revealed to us and revealed to you. And our God and your God is one; and we are Muslims [in submission] to Him." If you say because they insult islam, that why you did that: Revile not those unto whom they pray beside Allah lest they wrongfully revile Allah through ignorance. Thus unto every nation have We made their deed seem fair. Then unto their Lord is their return, and He will tell them what they used to do. ⇨ And do not abuse those whom they call upon besides Allah, lest exceeding the limits they should abuse Allah out of ignorance. Thus have We made fair seeming to every people their deeds; then to their Lord shall be their return, so He will inform them of what they did. |

In 2003, Saraki after rejecting Lawal, finally brought is son Bukola. The people still believed in him and supported his son, giving his son the mandate to take kwara to the next level. Today Saraki is back again. He has come back with his old trick and story. He has condemned his own biological son Bukola Saraki as bad and wants to replace him with his daughter. Taking you down memory lane In 1979, Chief Olusola Saraki presented Adamu Attah for Governor. He held him out as a good candidate and all to support him. The good people of Kwara State supported Attah and gave him the mandate to lead the state for better development. But after his tenure, Saraki came back and told the people that Adamu attah the same candidate he presented was a bad leader. In 1983, Saraki brought C.O Adebayo as the credible candidate; kwarans embraced him in on hearing the voice of Saraki, their hero. Yet after Adebayo’s tenure, Saraki came back to say Adebayo is bad. In 1992, Saraki brought Saba Lafiaji to be the trusted and tested candidate; Lafiaji once again got the mandate from the people. After his tenure, Saraki came back again to say that Lafiaji is another evil candidate he wrongly believed was good. 1n 1999, Saraki brought Lawal, after just four years – one term, Saraki came back to condemn him. This led to violence across the state. In 2003, Saraki after rejecting Lawal, finally brought is son Bukola. The people still believe in him and supported his son, giving his son the mandate to take kwara to the next level. Today Saraki is back again. He has come back with his old trick and story. He has condemned his own biological son Bukola Saraki as bad and wants to replace him with his daughter. What that means is as follows: 1. Saraki lacks the sense of identifying a good leader - If he chose five men to lead on different occasions and none of them turned out to be good, even in his own view. 2. If Saraki who chose them and held them out as good candidates came back on five occasions to say they are bad, it could only mean that Saraki himself is bad. 3. If Saraki chose 5 people and all turned out to be bad, it means the next one he will chose or endorse will also turn out to be the same as others, BAD! Having outlined the above, I hereby state categorically that any candidate, I repeat, any or rather, all candidates coming from Saraki will always be bad and therefore should not be supported by any reasonable person, young or old. If Saraki has been making these selections as an able bodied young man and all turned out to be bad at the end, it is certain that his choice while at his present age, when he is approaching senility will be extremely bad, poor and wrong. Bukola saraki, Another bad example like his father His father Olusola Saraki taught him everything he knew today, he believed in him so much than anyone else; he even made him the Governor of a state. If his father is this bad in choosing, it’s clear Bukola will take after his father - a bad leader. This can further be confirmed by his father's condemnation. His father Olusola Saraki who made him the Governor, came out publicly to say his son is bad, meaning he his indeed bad and would never make a good choice. So, anything coming from the Saraki family should be generally rejected by the general public. SEE EXAMPLE OF A GOOD LEADER IN COMRADE GBENGA OLAWEPO Gbenga Toyosi Olawepo (born 28 June 1965) is a Nigerian politician The name Olawepo first made the headlines when as an anti-apartheid activist he and three other students’ leaders of the University of Lagos were clamped into the over-crowded Nigeria Police cell in April 1989 after an anti apartheid protest. The former student union leader has distinguished himself in partisan politics. The Nigerian Tribune, a newspaper founded by the late Nigerian Nationalist leader, Chief Obafemi Awolowo, captured this properly. The newspaper sometime ago wrote: “In the political firmament of Nigeria, there are young Saraki’s, young Azikiwe’s, young Adedoyin’s who are children of established political and financial magnates but there are few names that have made it on their own to the political centre stage like Gbenga Olawepo, a rising star with no fall back platform or push of any godfather or back up of any financial empire. Talking of emerging political leaders this is a true discovery’’. Olawepo again displayed courage when General Abacha suddenly died in 1998, on the eve of the consummation of his planned transmutation into a civilian dictator. The duo of Olawepo and Dan Nwanyawu, now National Chairman of Labour Party, co-ordinating with Jerry Gana, moved into Fort IBB- a military barrack in Abuja, which housed the then Chief of Army Staff, Gen. Ishaya Bamayi -a key member of the military high command, to deliver a memorandum suggesting some direction for the transition to democracy. Interestingly, the final programme of transition reflected substantially their input. But it was a risky venture done when the destiny of the nation was hanging in the balance and when there was massive troop movement. Olawepo played prominent role in the transition process. In 1998/1999, he was the Secretary of the Women and Youth Development Committee of the Transition committee established by the then President-elect, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo. He also assisted the then PDP Chief spokesperson – Senator Anietie Okon- in running the party’s vast information machinery at the period of campaign and during the transition. A comprehensive write up shall be released about him soon. |
uplawal:Islam is clear. According to the prophet, the truth is clear, and falsehood is clear. but there is a confusion in between: that confusion is your heart. if you control it, good for you, if you let it control you, its up to you sister. |
may Allah guide you. Ameen if i may wonder, you started this thread insisting that i only talk with you on shia islam. Yes,i did ask. and thanks to you for talking to me about it. you even several times mentioned that you dont want me to mention anything about sunni islam or compare.you want me to only tell you what shia muslims and shia islam say yes. and i really appreciate all you have said so far. you asked who was the first male muslim and according to shia islam i told you it is Imam Ali.that is a direct answer and you wanted a direct answer. I know it a direct answer, from shia sect. but i refuse to accept it because it baseless. According to you as for getting the exact date Zaid became muslim,it is almost impossible to get that.we only know he was among the first (Imam Ali and Sayyeda Khadijah being the others) to embrace Islam. and if this is coming from you, Alhamdulillah. we go back to my first stand. there is no confirmed claim that put Zaid or Ali as to who was the first male to embrace islam. then you wanted to argue it and you still failed to make your point or back your argument.suit yourself. You already backed me with this According to you as for getting the exact date Zaid became muslim,it is almost impossible to get that.we only know he was among the first (Imam Ali and Sayyeda Khadijah being the others) to embrace Islam. if i may also wonder, why would you be interested in what shia people believe if they are not muslims? Because i always want to know what i don't know. i even invite xtians to tell me about there religion. I am not a muslim because i just wake up to be there. i am a muslim because i know it is the way, that i did by knowing what others believe. if you say i am not muslim,no problem because God will judge you.but you that came here with the interest to learn about what i believe, what should i call you?a fake muslim perhaps!!! Know, you will call me a learner. i was just following the prophets teaching which says, seeking knowledge is a must on every muslim. |
its clear u re a shia not a muslim salam. |
still waiting for u lagos shia |
let me know your stand on that and we shall continue to the successor insha allah |
@uplawal, the thread was said between two, myself and lagosshia. @lagos shia, we are talking here of the first male muslim and not who was the "only" hanif.there were many hanifs.talking here about Imam Ali being a hanif puts him in the right state of islam before the start of the revelation.it portrays a continuation and transition in belief (others like abu bakr were not hanifs). islam is not based on who is in better position, our argument is not on who is in better position (meaning that we are not assuming) but who was the first (authentic source). if we go by your claim, all other hannifs are in better position to embrace islam. xtian inclusive. but today we still have xtians who do not accept islam. the issue of Abu as been clear, and we are not talking about Abu but who was the first Muslim. we have two candidates, Zaid and Ali. If your sect (shia) deduce there believe on assumption, then u re in the wrong place. as for getting the exact date Zaid became muslim,it is almost impossible to get that.we only know he was among the first (Imam Ali and Sayyeda Khadijah being the others) to embrace Islam. and if this is coming from you, Alhamdulillah. we go back to my first stand. there is no confirmed claim that put Zaid or Ali as to who was the first male to embrace islam. i will contain myself with what has already being presented.logic and sound reason (as already explained) and the hadiths already presented from sunni sources all point out that Imam Ali was the first male to believe in the message of Islam. @lagos shia, this just came from you as for getting the exact date Zaid became muslim,it is almost impossible to get that.we only know he was among the first (Imam Ali and Sayyeda Khadijah being the others) to embrace Islam. yet you still stand on your unconfirmed assumption that Ali was first to accept islam. islam is not based on your assumption, embrace the truth when you see it. i accepted your claim of Abu not the first muslim because you presented a clear fact. but am surprise you reject what is clear here. |
u say |
Special Note: a special distinction between those who were mushriks in mecca and those who were not was the fact that the latter were called hanifs,a path approved by Allah in the Holy Quran as the path of Ibrahim (as).this is another evidence that Imam Ali need not to even be considered as someone who "converted" because he like the Prophet was a hanif.you cited that there are many people who may never have worshipped idols yet they are not muslims.the reality of the hanifs in pagan Mecca opposes your logic. On your special note: so was Ali the only Hannif? why didn't shia consider other hannifs? before islam, where they called hannif? so because they are hannifs, where they muslims? The simple answer is NO. |
