You really need to update your reasoning. You think Hitler war have not taught Russian people a lesson ? You are fully aware over 23 million Russians died in stalingrad alone in the hands of Germans ? That's because they allowed Germany to be so close to them till they were choked before retaliating.... They never believed the Nazi Germans will cause such horror

Check the news, everytime a neighboring country of Russia joins Nato, the Russian people always protest.... they keep protesting till they can no longer take it. Or the media make you belive Russian people are against the current invasion ? Jokers, Russia is a population of over 240 million, only about 10,000, not even half a million,, i.e less than 1% protested against the invasion, that should tell you something...... Everyone, even a Russian kid knows the Nato alliance is directed against Russia..... Once Russia is choked up, Nato will definitely attack.... No sane super power country is expected to keep quite with that expansion
The population of Russia is over 240 million? grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

Tolerance isn't a universal value for if it were then we wouldn't have conflict in the world. Secondly, muslims aren't asking for you to tolerate them in the countries they visit , rather it is your laws that say you should tolerate them . Revise your law and let every man be on his own .
I am tired of this back and forth. Good night.

[s][/s] What you're staying doesn't make an iota of sense . Oya tell us why christianity should be used as a standard in places that are non-christian ? Or why can't other religious views be accepted according to the regions in which they are practiced ...why imposed Christian values in places that are against it ...?
Is tolerance a Christian value? Is it not supposed to he a universal value? Asking Muslims to embrace tolerance and moderation means imposing Christian values on them? Wow!

You can't eat you cake and have it. Muslims shouldn't see intolerance as their right and then cry foul when people of other faiths are intolerant towards them.

Christian countries by the nature are known to be liberal and accept people with no restriction in the spread of other religious views. This is solely Christianity's religious view , and it shouldn't be used as a general standard for other religious groups .

This is why respecting the religious and cultural views of other religions is the way to harness true peace in the long run
Did you read this before you clicked "submit"? You are accepting that Christianity is tolerant and in the same breath saying that other religions must not be as tolerant as Christianity. Does this make sense?

Imagine what the world would have been like if adherents of other faiths were quick to violence as Muslims. So Christianity's tolerance shouldn't be used as a standard for other religious groups? Wow! In other words, Muslims should be allowed to use violence whenever they wish.

Every society on earth has it's religous and moral laws and those laws existed before the advent of any form of freethinking/atheism.

Therefore , it would be morally wrong to impose or preach your own non-religious views in a place that's predominantly religious. Why ? Because it disrespects the cultural and religious heritage of that people or race .

Just the way I can't go to Saudi Arabia and shout "Jesus is Lord " is the same way an atheist can't flaunt his non-religious taunts in a Muslim dominated place. Rather he should keep his belief in the existence or nonexistence of a divine being to himself alone
You can't go to Saudi Arabia and shout "Jesus is Lord", but you can go to any Christian country and preach about Islam without fear of arrest, torture, persecution, or imprisonment. Do you know why? Islam is an intolerant religion? Why didn't Christians bay for Bala's blood when he said God doesn't exist? Mind you, he didn't say the Muslim God or the Christian God. He said " God". The fact that Christians ignored him shows how tolerant Christians are.

So Bala is more of a threat than terrorists who have killed thousands but are still granted asylum? Make it make sense. Islam encourages its followers to be violent in defence of God. That's an irony given that Islam means "Peace".

[s][/s] Your freedom ends at where the next man's freedom begins. As it stands, Nigeria is a religious country, and whether you choose to acknowledge it or not , atheism is not part and parcel of Nigeria or it's values . Now you can choose to argue this for all I care but the fact remains that atheism and atheists aren't welcomed in northern Nigeria. Case closed
But you can't force someone to believe in God. On the last day, everyone will give an account of themselves before their maker. God won't ask you to give an account of Mubarak Bala's life on earth. I thought the Quran says, "There is no compulsion in religion"?

Why is Mr. Bala compelled to believe in a God he doesn't believe exists?

Lovely development.
What is lovely about this development?

Is it lovely that terrorists who have killed people are pampered and granted amnesty but Mubarak Bala has bagged 24 years imprisonment for exercising his right to free speech?
Crime › Nigerian Atheist To Serve 24 Years In Prison For Blasphemy by BinamRex(op): 9:35pm On Apr 05, 2022
The president of the Humanist Association of Nigeria, Mubarak Bala, has been found guilty of blasphemy by a High Court in Kano and sentenced to 24 years imprisonment.

What are your takes on this given that Nigeria is a secular country? Is freedom of speech no longer guaranteed in Nigeria? Does his sentence have to do with his renunciation of Islam.

Mr. Bala renounced Islam some years ago and has been a staunch atheist ever since.

Edo state is extremely beautiful and organized. The state metropolis, Benin City is home to the Bini people.

I arrived in Benin last year and I fell in love with the city. I intended to stay for a few weeks, but it seems I'll be staying for months if not years.

Here are four things I love about Benin city, Edo state.

Christianity Etc › Mosque Steering Committee Suspends Imam For Criticizing Buhari by BinamRex(op): 1:00pm On Apr 03, 2022
The Imam of Apo Friday Mosque, Abuja, has been suspended for criticizing President Muhammad Buhari.

In one of his sermons that went viral, the imam said Buhari had failed Nigerians and that the promises he made during his electioneering campaign had gone unfulfilled. Following the sermon, the influential Imam, also known as Digital Imam, was suspended by the mosque steering committee.

For those of you who say northerners don't criticize President Buhari, this is a video of the imam fearlessly criticizing the president's ineptitude. I hope this video makes you all understand that northerners are vocal about their criticism of the President.

Romance › Re: How Do I Tell Her I'm Not Interested In The Relationship Without Hurting Her. by BinamRex: 1:34pm On Mar 19, 2022
VOsimhen144:
My elder brother owns a boutique here in forestry Benin city, I manage the boutique business for him because he has other businesses to take care of.

Jaunary 15 this year, a guy came with a lady to my store to buy some clothes and shoe, they love what they saw, they spent over 70k that day at my store.

They even bought a Jean for someone who was at home, so I told them to feel free to return the Jean if it wasn't the person's size and I also promised to look for the person's size, I even gave them my number.

The lady called me that evening to informed me the Jean was okay, it was the person's actual size, she even said her both brothers love the clothes they bought. I politely told her to tell her brothers to also refer their friends to my shop. Infact that was when I knew they were siblings.

Ever since then, this lady has been calling to check up on me, she chat me up on Whatsapp everyday, I got to know she's from Akwa-ibom, she 37 yrs old (10 years way older than me), she's not married, she's a chef, she work in a culinary school where she teaches people how to cook intercontinental dishes. Those her brothers are based in Akwa-ibom.

Sometimes, she comes to my store whenever she close from work, she comes along with her intercontinental dishes she prepared, sometimes I find it difficult to eat it, I will jokely tell her that I'm used to Akpu.. We'll just laugh it off..

So yesterday night, When I came back from the shop I was tired, so she called me and I told her I was on bed, I had an hectic day I want to rest, then she was like who's the girl with me that I don't want to talk to her. She said a lot of things, she said I don't really care about her bla bla bla, she almost started crying.

I was just confused, I don't even know the right words to use to tell her to stop crying or acting up, whether I should use baby girl or my dear or aunty or babe stop crying.. I was just confused

Please how do I tell I'm not interested in the relationship without hurting her feelings? please note, she is a pretty lady, she speak fluently but she is way older than I am. And I'm also not in a relationship currently.
Give me her number. I am also in Benin
