yes, you can ultimately end up being friends with your friends again. it's just not advisable to tell you to maintain a friendship with them right at the nick of time when that relationship just ended. you might end up in a cycle of something i will refer to as emotional blackmail, where the strong feelings you still have for your ex causes you to do certain things that you know are not healthy for you. this usually happens because you obvioiusly care a lot about the ex. during this period you could end up sleeping with the ex, paying for his/her rent, phone bills, etc, even though you are broken up. basically the ex is eating the cake and having it back. blah blah blah i'll end the rant

unless you can handle it, try to give yourself time to get over the ex before even attempting to be friends with said person again.

You said she loves this man and will want to marry him. That was the same way she felt when she met her first and second husband until she left them after achieving her targets. She will definitely leave this guy too the same way she left others because she is an adult public dog.
