I bought a one way ticket and i did some explanation as to why that was so in Nigeria airport. I went with Emirate. It was a very long,pleasant and smooth flight. Men they sure know how to care for their passengers, Went the long distance like Lagos-Dubai-Toronto. I didn't use any agent. I found it was cheaper. Toronto wasn't my final destination so i had to get on another flight(from air Canada carrier which i bought upon arrival not in b4).Google that if u are making connections so you will know .
On my experience in Canada well it has been really cool, i mean asides the cold, on a very sad note,The black folks here no dey try at alll!!!!!! I mean i have strong beef for them. In my humble opinion i think they are just childish. When i got here i always wanted to give a smile or a wave(courtesy) but on my campus every black dude they form 'bigger than thou'.I really don't know whats wrong. went to the Gym and the black dude there instead of attending to his own, just ignored himsef till a white guy came and gave me my kit. Am so very disappointed, seriously.
Some may say i didnt come to make friend but if this place is gonna be my home, the people b4 me should try to make friendship easy we are all 'immigrants' ooo there is no class the last time i checked, The native Canadian are lovely, i feel like a star,just be straight and out going they will love you. I get invited for dinners and meeting almost every day(now i have not started classes by the way). During xmas i ve a get2geda with a native family. I guess they see honesty cos they are really very good human lie detectors. My house mates are the best, Men, they drive me around shopping malls (just for window shopping sha oo), McDonald (na coffee i go drink only o!) and skating (well i didnt try that cos am not in the mood to brake my spinal cord.) Going for a football match soon but i know i these fun is just for now cos when i start work, hmmmn, notin for me.lol, I saw my first snow, but i no Bleep up, Like its said warri no dey carry last, if e too bad na bracket first!! I remained gallant but it was a beauty to behold, thats about it. The land is so organized and most of them pray to themsef or the government and sleep on sundays( what did i expect, they have it all in terms of infrastructures ), its easy to get used to that if ur not grounded in christ and rooted in God. SO sorry for abandoning ship on the forum. Landed in Canada on the 28th of Nov so as to beat the xmas rush which i did. Fair was just $1080 to Toronto. Men did anyone say Canada was cold? Nah it isn't, its freaking freezing and they say the good news is that is going to get worse, (how that is good news am still trying to figure out). Prepare b4 you come o, I wear double everything so i can keep my organs intact. Dont bring you normal shoe here oo. God and get better shoe way get teeth so u can walk on the slippery snow grounds. Bring lots of food that you can carry and try as much as possible to answer the questions as straight forward as possible at the port of entry. They will just confirm somethings and print out your study permit. if you have connecting flight know the carrier.

well i love this trend because its something that has been on my mind since.i want to tell a story and i hope it doesnt bore you guys out but me its a true story of love and after you read, please be the Judge. Once upon a time there was a guy who meant a lady who he knew in his high school days he had always cared about her but waited and was in luck that she was single and they started going out. He met her mom and cared for her like she was his own. This guy loved this lady so much that all he wanted was to make sure she was ok. She loves going to church but comes back very late in the name of meeting and stuffs the man frowned and she said she not going to change that the church brought her to were she was and that He was not in the position to tell her her what to do cos he is not a church leader, what ever that meant.This guy was very supportive to both the girl and her mom that he even had to leave his bday celebration to attend to her families issue and she being a student he assisted in her allowance and other girls stuff and also in the food stuff in their home. He supported her in everything she did and though she was ok the way she is, he just wanted to make her better for that's was relationships is supposed to be all about. In return what did this man want? RESPECT!!Tells her to do one thing and she does the complete opposite and wants it to be a debate. The guy being very intelligent will win cos of objectivity and logic, simple logic and she says he makes her look small(why not look big by doing the right thing?)nope no respect and doesn't even take the guy seriously. Told her to start a business but she killed the idea.The guy was so serious with her that he asked her to come with him for a deliverance program in church so that according to obadiah 1:17 they can possess their possession. You see when we are born again Christ gives us the covenant of salvation but we have to get delivered from any ancestral bargain made by our fathers in time past so that we can have the fullness of our salvation. We have to pray for this to happen he explained and she said she cant sin and since she has no sin she wont do any deliverance and that the guy needs to get to the spiritual level of no sin, 1Jn 1:8 puts it explicitly clear but they don't read that part of the bible in her church.(Name withheld). He even changed his church cos he listens and respects her view but he is always wrong and stupid with his medical degree and education. He doesn't flirt, smoke nor drink and all he wants is to be with her but in this age he didn't want to carry extra ancestral load and so they can start a nu life together in a christian way, he suggested the prayer on their future. she introduces him as a friend just to be a churchy girl and says stuff like' if you weren't a doctor i wont go out with you' and calls it a joke, The truth is that most men are dirt but all most of them want is a supportive wife both mentally and emotionally and spiritually. Have same view be in Christ and pray together.God doesn't make mistake, dont compare him with your ex, pastor or anyone,both of you should pray b4 you tie the knot.God is able to give you your partner, a man or woman who sticks closer than a brother n/or sister

Was anyone quick to notice anything on their international passport when it waz returned for medical test my sisters own was stamped Lagos on one of the leaflets and her file number was written on it.Did anyone notice this?

Yes I have done my medicals. They will sent back only your passport, you need during the medical and after medical you will have to send it back to them.

I am going for an Msc Thesis in Biosystems Engineering.

I think your brother best option is through student Visa, but with his age I dont really no if this is going to be an issue with the Canada high commission. well, I am very sure there will b someone here that will be able to tell us more about this.

Did you notice anything different on your passport when it was returned to you? Did they right anything on it?

To your know what documents do you think the CDHC verifies e.g Bank statement, employers reference transcript etc? My transcripts were sent directly from my issuing university does it need verification? They have not contacted my bank or employer either. Got a letter for my medical test in 20working days, what does this mean(sure approval or further processing)? and how long from experience do you think it would take to get my visa after my medicals?

Thanks for all your help in here, what if my sponsor wants to present the bank statement, do i need to hold the cash in my account still for 28days? If yes, that means i have to present two bank statements if the cash is paid into my account lets say today and i wish to apply in 28 days time, right Just asking though, some pple get a bank statement that is specially prepared for this purpose and doctored by a bank staff by run AN APPLICATION, HOW COME THEY DONT GET CAUGHT?
