Obiagu1: Merging Civil servants and so on does not equate to claiming the resources of the nation by one region when in control of the government.
That, to me, is taking the candles that belonged to the nation.
Phuck candles ...
it was all in briefcases and had big faces of dead white presidents

In a way I love GEJ.

Not vote him in and SS goes

Vote him in and SS gets their way

Kill him and SS expands to your doorstep.

Your Boko infested Army has just let us know how useless this country is. The army is still struggling to dislodge a ragtag army in open terrain.

Let them try it in the SS

St_Black: PLS answer wisely :

-Revenue formula or not, Wouldnt there be a high margin of possibility of the federalism that had existed to be maintained till present had Ibos not drew the first blood?

Thread carefully because you may just get egg on your face.

By their actions they called the Yoruba cowards. Did the military not suppress all regions? And who were those at the fore front of fighting the military, even without guns?

These are those that stood up to military dictators.

St_Black: When the damage has been done, why didnt you all push to the frontiers for true federalism? ....Why Biafra instead of Federalism?
I cannot answer for Biafra because I wasn't there nor am I an Igbo but from what I know about the Biafran course was as a result of survival.

Ojukwu was never a part of the initial coup but he acted in defense of his people who were being massacred for the acts of their fellow kinsmen.

You guys need to chill; you believe too much in the rewards of recent militancy. Hiding in creeks is not war. If you over step your bounds, you will lose all of Delta. Do you think 5 million can fight 50 million?
see your life...

Enter warri now.

Let me tell you a little on how the Niger-Delta Insurgency began.

It began on the crest of the Warri crisis. Oil companies began relocating to neighbouring Rivers, Uyo and Bayelsa.

Experienced Warri boys moved over later to get jobs in those parts. When they saw how the oil companies had been exploiting the communities they put sense into the locals head and gave them the nod on how warri dey handle oil coys. The rest is history.

Bring it on Sgt Ibadan

now listen to yourself. Jonathan who is the commander in chief is having his hand twisted by aboki customs? shocked shocked

Bishop,
I liked you better when u just post conspiracy theories smiley b the way u havent replied my response on the other thread
Off course ABoki HANDS are in it just as they destroyed the rail sector and NNPC pipelines which led to fuel and goods being trucked.
Abokis own 99% of the trucks on the roads. The former governor of Sokoto Bafawara owns at least 2,000 trucks!

They are also not comfortable with the Eastern coastline. Why do you think Dangote is building a refinery in Ondo and not warri? In the event that Nigeria will divide the Northerners have vowed to have access to the sea and Lagos is that outlet. Ondo will become their new Niger-Delta but from what I understand about Ondo people and their politics they won't stand for that crap.

Stop sprouting nonsense all over the thread already. Did a Yoruba man take your wife or girlfriend?

Was it Awo that implemented Decree 34 you ninny? Was that not Ironsi?

If you are going to be a bigot, at least be knowledgeable. Instead you are wearing ignorance like a suit of armour.

Sit on the sidelines before you embarrass yourself any further. And I am here to help you in that regard.
Ok if it be so. Why then did Gowon with Awo guiding him not revert back to status quo after the counter coup.

The East was Isolated under Ojukwu and as such resources from there could not have found there way to the NATIONAL Coffers

Aigipan: so what is the FG waiting for right now then? is GEJ a hausa man or a Yoruba man?
If you cant lobby Jonathan to build u a port, stop crying over the one in Lagos. you guys are pathetic cry babies.
Akpabio is building a deep port. There is an existing port in Warri and Calabar but the Aboki controlled customs has restricted shipping of specific goods only to these ports.

Hyundai is building a sea port and a ship yard in Bayelsa.

It's just a matter of time before your Lagos crumbles grin grin grin grin grin

Hyundai Heavy Industries to to build $7 bln shipyard in Nigeria

Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan on Thursday hailed South Korea’s Hyundai Heavy Industries’ decision to build a multi-billion dollar shipyard that can employ 2,000 locals in Nigeria.
The completion of the facility next year will boost Nigeria’s economic development and create jobs for the local population, a statement from his office quoted Jonathan as saying at a meeting with the company’s president, Jai-Seong Lee.
More than 30 million Nigerians, or 20 percent of the population, are unemployed, according to recent official figures.
“Hyundai has a long-standing relationship with Nigeria. You have always played a key role in our economy, especially our oil industry. We appreciate what you have done and are elated by your latest investment,” the president said.
Lee said that on completion, the first phase of the Shipyard in Brass, in Jonathan’s Bayelsa home state, will provide employment for at least 2,000 Nigerians, the statement said.
South Korean firms are major players in oil, manufacturing and automobile industries in the west African nation.

St_Black: Who were those that destroyed one of the basic & fundermental elements of equity
-true & fiscal federalism- thrugh a first coup?
The coup plotters removed the leadership and not the system.

It was Awo as a then Minister of Finance ( an insult to his person given the age and pedigree of Gowon then) that gave us this current system.

If the coup plotters caused it why did Gowon not change it? The truth is the coup plotters were not changing the system but the leaders.

You know how to type IQ, but its very obvious you have zero IQ..
ode. all your growth is tied to Nigeria. You offer nothing but the coast. The reason why your fathers alongside their abokis in power have refused to develop the eastern coastlines for maritime trade.

You are operating on a monopoly of imports and not exports!

As long as those people still maintain their Ijebu ancestry and align with it - they're part of the Yoruba commonwealth. And they would go anywhere the Yoruba's go.

Obiagu1: The funny thing about this disintegration of Nigeria is that among the 3 regions in the South, SE is the most disadvantaged, yet we are not scared of disintegration and are ready to take our own destiny in our own hands.

We believe in our ability. You don't make progress without some suffering.

It's better for us to suffer to survive than to enjoy to die.
Igbos will be OK because they don't depend on other peoples resources not like some people (looking to were the sun sets)
