I met Oshomole at a resturant in Sheraton, Lagos during the one week nation strike orchestrated by him in the guise to stop fuel increase. The ediot tried to be incospicious as he sat at the far end corner and partially screened by a flower pot (maybe he requested his table be moved). This same oshomole has a heli parked permanently at Edo State house. Even Lucky drove to the airport and boarded a flight. But for Osho he needs to fly to the airport which is less than 10mins from government house and then board another chartered flight. Amaechi is the epitome of ingratitude. This is the only individual in the history of democracy who never contested for an election but was rewarded with the mandate after a supreme court hearing upturned the return of the successful candidate and fellow party stalwart (Omehia). In the ruling, the supreme court made it clear that party affiliation supersedes individual candidacy and as such Amaechi was installed as governor on the grounds that PDP won the election and since he was the original winner of the primaries he was returned as Governor. Now, Ameachi has chosen to betray the same political machinery that put him into office and defected to the rival APC while still excising the benefit of that office. Yes, you can say he did contest and win the second leg but the power and influence of incumbency inherent in the first supreme court ruling ensured that he is where he is now. Ameachi is also a myopic and power drunk f00l who thinks the people of Rivers and the Niger-Deltans as a whole are comfortable to have him as vice at the detriment of having a president from their region. If this is not a detached and selfish logic and reasoning on the part of Ameachi then I have no words for him. The Rivers people may seem nonreactive to his new political goofing but you must understand that in the Niger-Delta and SE as a region, politicking are well structured to coincide with the polls only. Outside this, the people go about their own daily business and survival not like in the north or southwest were politicians dictate their every tune and sustenance. Time is ticking down to 2015 and Ameahi's case has already been decided and due sentence proscribed on him. |

Around 8pm I noticed an usually bright orange star like object at a very low elevation. It was the brightest object in the night sky and at first thought it might be the northern star-Alpha Centuria but it's low elevation and usual yellowish radiant nature made me to continue observing it. 10 minutes into my star gazing, I started to notice the elevation (initially between approx 10-20 degrees) from my reference point continue to dip and the object started to gradual shrink. It's color changed from bright yellow to orange then dark red. There was no comet tail as most of it had already been burnt off by the sun. I did not have a camera at hand and my phone cam won't have gotten a good shot. Did any of you notice it? |

DIYA Originally signed to SRC Records which later transformed to Abacha Records, Diya was only marginally successful with one hit to which he dedicated to his then boss, Abacha. The jam On bended knee feat Adisa was produced by legendary producer al Mustafa and even featured Abacha in the video. The single was not typical of the hardcore rap albums being produced by SRC and Abacha records and Diya and Adisa were the only RnB artiste on the label. The single later went on to win several awards at the Oputa Awards and also catered away the prestigious Most Emotional Track award. Diya has since retired from the music business.

Mc Bola Mc Bola is currently joint founder of APC Records which he currently co-manages with former rival now turned partner Buhari. APC Records has a diverse mix of artist but no major top hitter and as such the merger of the then ACN and CPC records was a direct response at checking the dominance of PDP records within the Nigerian Music scene. Mc Bola had tried a stint into recording but never made it to the top charts. Critics have accused him of mouthing off the late Awo's style and looks and have claimed that ACN records was too regional and as such the reason most of earlier and current hits never truly enjoyed National Airplay. Tinibu's style has been described as lazy sloppy but complicated (think of lil wayne) but he still has a major fan base in the SW (THINK LIL WAYNE AGAIN). These hits ensured OBJ maintain the top of the charts for 8 consecutive years. OBJ was also releasing free styled collabos like the massively successful hit Staying Alive featuring Umaru.
