Pls how much is this commitment fee? Let me be better prepared
PH office is a cesspool of corruption, so going the DIY route is frustrating, tiring and for those in no hurry. Renewal takes 3wks (official statement) but be prepared to wait a month plus for DIY and u must pay commitment fee or else your file will be left unattended. Express cost between 50-70k (all passport) and can be gotten within 72hrs after capturing. Speaking from my experience.[/quote]

Hello.
Can anyone share information on the passport renewal process in Port Harcourt, rivers state?
How long does it typically take to get the passport in Ph office if you follow DIY process?
Is it easier to go to neighboring states like Akwa ibom or bayelsa and do it there?

Uchboggy:

You should have a bit of both options , but from experience option one is usually more expensive but more convenient cos you don’t need to find change or part with some money due to lack of change

Again, for option B, it depends on where you change the money, exchangers at the airports are usually a bit more expensive except in countries where their systems are highly regulated then it would be same rates at airports and outside.

Hello @Uchboggy. Have you been to Peru? Do you know who has? I'm looking to visit Peru next month. Do you know the visa requirements and places to see? I generally want to tour south America for one week. Share ur thoughts pls.
