Good morning my fellow nairalanders. I have been selling my Bitcoin to nairaswitch for a while even though I have friends around me who bitterly make complains of not being paid after selling there Bitcoin to nairaswitch. I had no reason to believe them as I never experience that with them but didn't know my trust won't last with them till they did the same to me. I sold to them Bitcoin worth #5623 on 12/5/2017 and the transaction has been completed without being paid till now. I have made move to communicate with there customer care both with messages. Their customer care center is so wack and unprofessional that you will have to repeat the same complaints after and after again. I don't know if they do that to frustrate someone to leave the money for them. I want this to also serve as warning to those wanting to transact larger amount of Bitcoin to them cause they show a high level of incompetency. I have every evidence to back my claims up if there company could get this. And also before coming to here I also put series of calls to them this morning without any solution. Please no money is small in this time of economy for a so called company to still be scamming you. N.B: Incase of any grammatical error please overlook as the message I intend to pass matters most. |

if the fact is too be said even though I support this party during the last election I think if things continue like this then we have to weep for this nation. workers struggled hard to obtain a certificate to work so as to be paid and you say the economy is bad what does that justify. what is happening now will discourage every hard educationists to look into entrepreneurship and before we know it they start giving the job to the less qualified because the ones that truly have passion for the work is no more interested, and who is going to blame them we are all looking for money. But we are just too blind to see the reality because our conscience have been clouded with sentiments. |

My noble pen was resting peacefully on my book when I was suddenly struck in the hearth with the situation of my country local government. Our local government is fast becoming something of the past. This is aided by the state government which starts by depriving us the main reason why the constitution created them. In a country that is so populous and big as Nigeria we definitely needs a grassroot government that is active. But it seems to be a pity that today most Nigerians have forgotten that the farther or supreme something is to you makes it less approachable. And the less approachable something is the little relevancy we share together. We clamour for a change from the federal government which is the apex government section in the country but the fact is that it cannot be achieved without the help of the grassroots government (local government). This is so because the local government serves as a direct link between the government and the community. More likely, it is in the business where the consumer needs the retailer and not the wholesaler. I could hear how someone’s heart whisper to me what the responsibility and duties of the state government to the community is? In the Nigeria of today, most of our governors are busy so to say with activities that affect the state at the upper level and not really what the masses cry for. Only a few of our state government (governor) have a pious mind of listening directly to the masses and not that their so called advisers. The only time the ever long chain between the masses and the state government is suddenly cut short is when the election comes knocking. Most of them do what makes them attain political relevancy and not what will make their citizen and people relevant. If the present federal government wants to catalyze and implement the true change we yawn for a functioning local government is needed. Don’t local governments still exist? Oh! Yes they do but not the local government that has been compromised by some of the so called governors. The federal government is busy fighting corruption at the top when the corruption truly started from the bottom. It just like a landlord that wants to change a rusted root while the building’s foundation is already faulty. You might end up having a good looking building but might not last till everything get crumpled due to a faulty foundation. Why do we need a local government is the question that pop up on my mind? Having a local government election come with a lot of benefit for the masses and the community. This means I can see the government (chairman) in my community. This will be a government that I know, a government that I can hold responsible for my community development. Not just a television man that promise me so many things during the election period and doesn’t even care when he couldn’t fulfill half of it. Not just that television man that can buy his way with his embezzlement to win an election over and over again. Not just the man that can win a election without me knowing what his personality was before his campaign team started to enlighten me with who he used to be and what he will be. I need someone that I know his personality in my community, not what I hear about him but what I know about him. I can’t hold responsible an executive secretary which most governors now use as a way of having total control over the state. We never voted for them so that are less Accountable to us but to their boss(governor) that put them there. The ones that grows enough mind to deviate from what his boss want can easily be replaced by a more submissive servant. The law makers should please make laws that will liberate the local government from bullying by the state government. The masses are always at the receiving edge when the green and red chambers commit a legislative blunder. The liberation will be begging when the law mandates it for all governor to conduct a local government election after a year in office. A year is enough to access a state government by its people. Don’t let us forget what the benefit of conducting a local government election will have on the masses and communities. Let the voice of the masses be heard. |
