Your problem is likely a transmission control unit problem. I am currently fixing same problem for my GLK 350. After all assessments, we thought it was the gear box, until the electrical experts looked at it and concluded its the TCU. If you are in Abuja let me know so I can refer you to the guys fixing my car.

Responsibilities

Required Skills
Position requires familiarity with routine operating procedures of equipment (Konica Minolta Bizhub C224e-C554e series) which can be set up and operated following a few step by step instructions and the skill to operate the equipment. Must have the ability to setup, program and release jobs from print queue. Requires skill to perform minor clerical tasks incidental to the operation of the equipment (e.g., maintain machine operating and maintenance records, etc.), and skill to perform routine maintenance. Ability to identify if machine is experiencing improper operation and make basic adjustments as needed. Be able to fluctuate hours as needed to meet job deadline.

Required Experience
• Position requires a Diploma in Graphics Design, Printing Technology or applicable equivalent work experience
• At least 1-3 years’ experience in printing, visual design, marketing and or graphic design and ability to maintain a high level of accountability.
• Willingness to work closely with clients and meet their demands. Punctual and reliable.

Perfectly durable, Bought a new one here in Nigeria since 2012 and have been enjoying it. No problems except normal servicing. Had to change my shock recently because of Lagos roads but besides that, its a perfectly reliable car. Go for it.
