Guys, it depends on mileage. IMO, for 2005 model cars upward use specified synthetic class oil and service atmost mileage coverage of 3000. Although often times I service mine before covering 3000 and I use Honda specified oil 5W20.

I believe that viscosity is too light for our weather. Honda recommends 5w20 based on ambient temperature BTW 6°c and 16°c. The only gain would be improved fuel consumption.

For our ambient temperature above 30°c I use 5w40 for my Honda, although this would increase fuel consumption but would reduce engine wear

What I really do not understand is the phrase "Subsidy Removal" I have always maintained that subsidy cannot be removed, it can only be moved from the government to the masses.
