It's simple: use the Google Webmaster Tool, to fetch the URL as Google and then, request that it should be indexed. Usually, it takes barely minutes!

Why not just disable highlighting of text and images on your blog, this will stop text and images selection and if text can't be selected then it can't also be copied.

That's an alternative too (once used a plugin to that effect). However, this seriously impairs user experience as right click is completely disabled.

Visited a site that had such a 'precautionary measure' in place recently and had the worst experience online in recent times!

This is quite interesting, OP...the only challenge is that someone like me will need to be reporting other folks daily!

What I have discovered (which works better for me) is to use Google Webmaster Tool to my advantage. Immediately I publish an entry, I 'fast forward' it and gets it indexed in mere minutes.

...Any half wit copying after that will see what happens when the next Google update comes onboard
