Go to Okey mechanic workshop on the eliozu road, when coming from stadium road to eliozu immediately you descend the flyover you will see his workshop, he's a biker too so you will see bikes there. He handles all cars but very good with Honda and Acura. I used to have his number but I couldn't find it I would have dropped it here.

Very valid point, but how will the officer know the furnished letter isn't forged.
It is easier to forge a letter of consent than it is to steal complete original papers .

proof of ownership certificate,
valid vehicle license,
reciept of purchase of the said vehicle,
a letter authorizing the licensing officer to effect the change of ownership to the current owner.
All listed documents originals.
With all these documents, u will be able to process your change of ownership and re registration of already registered vehicle.

You mean the prior owner still has to draft a letter authorising the change of ownership despite the availability of original certificate of ownership and receipt of purchase. Na wa o.

Is the said letter to be addressed to a specific office or title, or just a blanket 'To whom it May Concern'

Is the re-registration mandatory? Wouldn't that pose a conflict in the case where the car has reg number engravings on body parts.

I have been professionally advised after inspection that this vehicle is an empty shell - too many hidden issues not stated by op.

leaking oil, bad interior, rubbish paint work, rattling engine, electrical abuse, impact on the rear (left side) BUT ON THE GOOD SIDE, AC IS GOOD. With that in mind people - resuming bidding..

The car is photogenic.

Good heads up.
