drakeli: Says who? Covid 19 is a respiratory disease. If it catches you, plus all the other symptoms, the mother of it all is that it seizes your breaths making your gasping for breath. That is where ventilator comes him to help pump your long with air so you don’t give up immediate even before treatment comes.
Just to educate you and others that don’t know like you. The point is by the time it gets to the point of requiring a ventilator, prognosis usually not too good. |

Health › Re: No Evidence That COVID-19 Survivors Can’t Be Reinfected - WHO by bjtinz: 1:02pm On Apr 26, 2020 |
Bacteriologist: There has been at least 8 strains of COVID-19 identified so far. What I think the WHO is saying is that if you get infected by one strain of Covid-19 you might become immune to that particular strain but still remain susceptible to other strains after recovering.
Also, antibodies have been found in some recovered patients but they are not enough to prevent reinfection
This virus is more dangerous than we think folks. We are in for a really long ride. The question is how many people have been reinfected after a previous infection? I think it would help if WHO can provide details of such. |

awhybliss: Since sanitizer (water+alcohol) disinfect/kills Convid-19, Why can't alcohol kill the virus when is in the body system, I learnt it stays in the lungs, but alcohol pass through the oesophagus to the body system which mixed with blood and transport through the capillaries to the lungs, ideally can't alcohol kill the virus in the body system, since it kills the virus when it's on a surface or on our hands.. even after mixing some percentage with water, not to talk of taking it raw.. Rate this! But make sure you do have any proof or fact why it won't work ? No guessing. Lol! A Kenyan politician also recommended this and in fact sent bottles of Hennessy to people and told them to take "as recommended by WHO" Anyway it's wrong. Like someone said above, The concentration needed to inactivate the virus is far too high to be achieved in the blood stream. A concentration of at least 60% is needed to kill the virus and humans will die at just about 1\100th of that. |

Finstar: Cloth mask? Lol... That is really bull as it can't protect you from any virus. The idea is not to prevent one from infection, but actually to stop those infected, particularly those not displaying symptoms, from spreading it. |

Well I dont really care who wins the election. The Democrats seem to have run out of a strong contender lately.
Where does the polls come from? How many people had their opinions sampled? Common man!!! I speak with a few Republicans and some are dwindling in their support.

sexymoma: You see my problem in this country is even the news casters, those ones that claim to be educated will coviniently pronounce the figures. Now every evening you inform us about those that has been discharged... At night you'll give us another figures of those tested positive.. So all those SAN, celebrities, politicians, professors in Nigeria can't question FG about real numbers of those infected.. Substract those discharged from 627 That is 470 - those that died 21 That 436 Total: 436 That is why they keep fooling us, we won't ask questions, we'll just sit there, permit me to say 90 percent of our so called celeb are just too dull.walai I dey boil... Really wish I could get why all frothing.. Remove deaths and discharged from the total cases, you get the current active case. It's standard reporting format for infections diseases. |
