Foreign Affairs › Re: US To Review Funding To WHO Next Week by bjtinz: 7:39am On Apr 11, 2020
Meninmen:
[s]See your teeth like help. The leadership of WHO really messed up big time.

A pandemic killed thousands before WHO could classify it as a pandemic. A friend said WHO has a protocol for classifying a disease as a pandemic, true, but, there have been cases where a disease had a worldwide spread (which classify as a pandemic), but they didn't call the disease a pandemic, because it killed very little or nobody.

You have a virus that was already killing thousands in China, and from studies, it could easily be spread by respiratory droplets, but WHO declined to call the disease a pandemic and warn other govts all over the world on time.

Now disease has killed thousands, and Can't be controlled.

WHO's leadership should step down[/s]

The disease is airborne even me as an accountant knows. But WHO has been saying otherwise. Trump abeg deal with them wella
A NL accountant like his fellow ignorant buffoon feels he knows better than trained experts at WHO.

Wetin person no go see. shocked

Abeg try not make your ignorance too egregious. FYI covid 19 is NOT AIRBORNE. It is spread by RESPIRATORY DROPLETS. There's a difference

2 and 3 are totally false. Glycerin is definitely not naturally present and in fact is harmful to the vagina.

@brownjay
there are no fluid in a vagina that can protect from infection and diseases, NONE
Lactobacilli, naturally present in the vagina does offer some protection against infection. But yes, it's not actually a 'fluid'. .

funke was charged to court pleaded guilty and was convicted of a criminal offence. Go read the CHARGE SHEET!
It cannot be a criminal office when there is no direct law backing it. That's what the lawyers are trying to argue.

Well I guess she wasn't properly advised by her lawyers B4 pleading guilty. The exconvict has a terrible stain which shouldn't be taken likely.

If you are on lock down and your money too is lock down, then you need to review your investment strategy. Assume this lock-down is your retirement period how well can you live well without working? If only when you open business, or you are present at work you make money then your investment is not complete you need to do more forms of investment. Just a lesson!
Great piece. Thanks

already bought about 22M worth of bitcoin when price for 1btc fell to about $5,000. Currently, 1btc is worth $7,000. I was able to jump the Naira devaluation with this. Hoping 1btc would now rise to $10,000 after all these wahala before I sell it off. That would be about 45M
Kai!! The thing pain me o. When it fell to 5k I was busy dilly-dallying. Just checked and it's over 7k already.

Hoping it will still drop b4 the covid wahala is over

Preposterous. They are not exconvicts. The directive is not in our constitution or penal codes, pls.

It's the same category as being arrested by road safty for driving without seatbelt. Do you call such a person a convict?

No, you pay your fine and move on.

Jennifa goofed big time. And she accepted. Time to move on

Well if anything, let's hope this thread will be an eye opener for those who had decided to tow the ignoble path as a career e-beggar, particularly the greedy, covetous ones.

Those who actually have genuine needs will now be able to get the needed attention.

It is so shameful not a good thing. I was so ashamed when on IG a popular handle posted that things are hard now for ashawo since there is lockdown that ashawo should post account number so he can give them something. Shamefully many of the ladies accepted to be ashawo posting their account numbers including married women and some irresponsible men. Very shameful.

Anyway like most have said, there may be occasional trying times that warrant asking for help.

To me the real problem are those serial 'career' beggars. Eg here on NL you see a moniker asking money FOR OVER A YEAR, and she/he sees nothing wrong. Haba!!

With all due respect to CJN, the typos/errors are just too many.

It's not even just the 'covid-10' (Coronavirus and covid-19 are two different things, by the way)

'Lordship' instead of lordships in first paragraph, Capitalization mid sentence, etc. Haba!! I know he didn't type it, but should have taken pains to adequately proofread

I once said that the FG economic team know that the average Nigerian is scared to invest his money in the real sector so, the TB rates will continue to go down because they (CBN) know its the safest bet any Nigerian has.

That questions the motive behind the high rates all these while, surely it was done to enrich a few class at the detriment of the economy.
Preciously. I know some the gurus have said it will rise again, but honestly I really don't see that happening in the near future. CBN know that even at 1% people will still rush the TB, so there's really no incentive to increase rates.

Well, Seun might have a point.

Indeed some published work (but mostly those yet to be peer reviewed) suggest a significant decrease in transmissibility with increase in temperature and humidity.

Specifically it has to do with the Ro, which is a measure of how many secondary cases arise from an infected case.
