That's the point. The road is smooth drivers so can't resist going 160kpm. I used to frequent the road while still at Enugu (abuja - Enugu) and have seen a number of accidents on road, almost always due to overspeeding

Right from the ajaokuta bridge down till the roundabout at ayingba, save for a few rough patches, its one of the smoothest stretches in that area.
