FreeStuffsNG: You should just walk into Nigeria Info Fm, Port Harcourt and ask them who Martha Okere Nkem is instead of displaying bigotry while hiding behind the anonymity you think exists here on Nairaland . The copyright of the picture belongs to Martha Okere Nkem. First of all, I don't know why you are bent on focusing in the so called Anonymity. I've seen you do that many times here. Secondly, if my memory serves me right, the British propaganda tool called BBC has more than three Nigerian outlets known as BBC Yoruba, Hausa, pidgin and the anti Igbo one known as BBC Igbo. Now, on matters like this, which of the outlet do you think is best suited to broadcast this news if it is true? Is it not either BBC pidgin or Igbo? Then what brought BBC Yoruba into it? No be busy body be that? |

DOTian: Watch your sharp tongue, young man! I come from Orlu in Imo State! An oil producing area with some of the biggest gas reserves in the world! Don't you ever use that line for me here! I feed you! Back to the topic! Minorities living around the igbos since the beginning of times, who WILLINGLY decides to join Biafra after a reputable FREE and FAIR REFERENDUM, will be very much welcomed! Simple! Most of these ijaws you see have more Igbo blood than Ijaw. Go and do your investigation. If the grandfather is not Igbo, the great grand mother is Igbo. Even Asari Dokubo, David Mark etc. If such people WILLINGLY decides to run away from Arewaistan or Afonjaistan to join Biafra, who am I to say no? @emboldened, you feed who? Do I look like those from the place you call Imo State you British created "Orlu" people can insult? Emekwana ife m ga eji gwa gị okwu ị ga eche eche? But if you need it I will give it to you direct. Now back to the matter. There is nothing like "having" Igbo ancestry when the supposed people don't just see themselves as Igbo but detest Igbo. I won't even talk about the Ijaw aspect because it sounds absurd. Besides are Ijaws Indigenous to the place they occupy in the first place. If you know their history you'll realise they are just Fulani in the southern side of the contraption. My point is, a Country is formed by people united by culture and Ideology. If any different people should join, they should do so as a distinct independent nation with terms and conditions duly revised and agreed on. That is, if by chance Ijaw should join (which I will campaign against till they leave) they will come as a distinct Ijaw Nation with clear boundary and a degree of autonomy. Anything else is Nigeria with another name |

BigBashiru: British are colonists..... BBC is British State Media. What is their business with Yoruba language? The answer is CONTROL. But again Nigerians are slackers with the wrong mentality.... so it's quite easy for them to use your own language to control you... I know my dear. Forget that my "Afonja" term, its just a way to spark these people to see the truth. Black people don't learn through reasoning but insults |

I am all for an Igbo only country of willing Igbo clans especially our brothers trapped with the demons of Benue state and Enuani of Delta state, our kins in Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa and Rivers (excluding Ikwerre). Leave them. Those guys and busy body na 5&6. I think it's just a way to make themselves feel like others are in the same mess as them. If you follow their media and statistics, you will be deceived. Apart from extreme core North, where they still use camels and donkeys, no other region has dilapidated structures and extreme poor dirty people like them. |

Mr OP I don't know who you are but don't push Bini people into a fight they are clearly avoiding for reasons best known to them. Bini people say that if you wake up and see a Fowl pursuing you, run because you don't know whether the fowl has grown teeth overnight. After that you can then think of what to do. They have to carefully analyse the game plan of Ijaw people before engaging in anyway. And please for those that might get the wrong notion from my post, I don't support any of the groups. Whoever wins is fine to me |

Oza-nogogo people settled there around 300years ago. They are benins who came not long ago.Uptil today they still speak benin and Ika.
Because we are good people we accepted them to be among us.
Many of them can still trace their ancestral families in benin.
Fabomo Edoleye;a legendary benin musician is from Oza-nogogo but today I think he has resettled back to benin where his ancestors left not long ago. You just proved the point I omitted. He said most Bini families kept a lot of Ika people as slaves there. Especially those offered during tribute |
