Igboid:I don't say things for the sake of talking, and I joke with Igbo history and accomplishments. The whites are now trying to make the discovery look like accident, but they forgot that they never told our ancestors that Garri was toxic. Our ancestors discovered it was toxic by themselves and as far as I, Ndigbo and reasonable black Africans are concerned, after series of experiments discovered the cure which it palm oil. The whites after seeing a black race (Ndigbo) discover what they couldn't are trying to suppress the achievement. The whites don't eat Garri because of it, but when it got to the Great Ndigbo, we cured the poison. To them, their own is discoveries but when black do his own it will be considered an accident. Ndị ara |
Vintagepipes:Straight to the spot. Nice one |
Wulfruna:I am not here to argue to and fro, after all I won't be the one to go blind. Don't disturb me. Infact avoid me |
Igbo Amaka there

KoshCAD:Ijebu Garri outside Nigeria? you are the Funniest ignoramus I have seen this year.Until Ijebu Garri is cured from Cyanogenic glycoside which is in Cassava itself , it can never meet the international nutritional standards and as such will be continued to be considered as poison over seas. Any Ijebu Garri you see outside SW is smuggled without the authorities of the regulatory agencies to be consumed by ignorant Yorubas alone. You can never see anybody selling Ijebu Garri in SE. If any try, he will be arrested Ijebu Garri is poison because of its high cyanide content. The only way to remove those Cyanogenic Glycoside is by using what we use that turns it to yellow Garri. I won't tell what it is you so that you lots will keep on looking sick and systematically continue to lose sight (blind) as a result of Cyanogenic glycoside accumulation in your eye lenses. Comparing your poison with our actual food is an insult only ignoramuses make. |
Nedu05:That is if they leave it like that. There is something called "working on your strong points". If Anambra Airport capitalise on their strong points and maintain the basics, she will edge out Lagos and Abuja. The same can be said for the stadium. Had it been they made it only football stadium, they would have edged out all the stadiums in not just Nigeria but the entire west Africa. It will become the first choice for football in West Africa because she will be the only stadium designed for just football in the entire West Africa. Anyways, the did has been done. On the bright side the stadium is small and looks like it will be easily maintained, so it is up to the state Government not to allow such manageable piece to ruin in their care. But there is still a window to make the football only stadium a reality. These are simple things that you do to edge out competitors. Working on your strong points and maintaining the basics. |
This is Nigeria where a 47 year old woman is expecting a baby out of the blue. May be she went for IVF |
According to Yoruba media, this place that you are looking at is safer than SE. This is why I ask God to make SW to be as safe as this place that their media is hyping. Amen.. |
Hizzy:You know him. He has been hovering around social media for the past decade looking for ways to pit Ndigbo against each other. The purpose of the thread is to create an online ring for Effium and Ezza to fight each other for their pleasure. Check the history of the OP. He has been labelling every bad thing that happened in the world as the doing of IPOB |
KoshCAD:LOL. You now insult other Garri with the features of your own. That proves that yours is the worst. The only Garri that floats in Nigeria is Ijebu Garri As a business man, the only way you can know a better product is from customers review, that is the one that displaces the other in market. In all markets you will see Igbo Garri displacing others, even in Ijebu herself, Igbo Garri beats her own even though Ijebu Garri have home advantage but you can never see Ijebu Garri in Igbo markets across Igboland. The few Yoruba people that want it have to smuggle it from Yorubaland because it is bad market in East due to its low quality |
Look at the meeting of all Anti-Igbo propagandists. We've passed this level, you Nigerians can put in more work. Whenever you see MelesZenawi aka Juluismalama, Myopicmods and Dubailandlord in a thread, just put on your Igbo shield because it is going to be an attack. |
Vintagepipes:Thanks. Your shot confirms what I've been telling them since. Ancient Igboland prior to European influence was the hallmark of democracy where power was reduced to the lowest form. A feat USA is still trying to achieve. Now all we need to do, is to embrace, modernise it to our contemporary taste and cherish it. |
Christistruth00:I will have to stop you right there. Even till date you Yorubas don't know how to make Garri for swallow and your Garri (most notably Ijebu Garri) can't soak if introduced to water. It floats if you put it after adding water. This explains the superiority in our creativity. Igbo Garri soaks any how you put it. Igbo owns Yellow Garri. Igbo Garri for swallow is still the best both in nutrients and texture. Now that's aside, my dear stop fooling yourself moi moi and akara are made from beans, anything made like them that is not from beans will have another name. In conclusion, You Yorubas couldn't and did not develop anything from cassava after 500 years that it was introduced to you. Next topic |
Christistruth00:Hahahahaha. Yoruba people sef. We are a perfect Republic, Ndigbo don't do traditional rulers. Just stop looking for ways to justify your stupidity |
Christistruth00:And the Christians were irons that they didn't become someone's dinner? Do you now realise how stupid you sound? Now from what you said, I believe you've realised why your people were unable to develop anything from cassava for 500 years. It is because you people are mentally handicapped. |
Christistruth00:Cassava was introduced in 16th century my dear. Besides, most slaves (more than 50%) of slaves in Brazil are from Angola and Congo And returned slaves are more pronounced in Liberia and Sierra leone than any other west African country. Let me educate you, Akara and Moi Moi are made from mashed beans not Cassava. So what have you Yorubas made out of cassava since 500 years it was introduced to you people? Ndigbo made Akpụ, Abacha, kokoro etc from it so what have you people made out of it? |
Christistruth00:So you Yorubas owe your history to returned slaves from Brazil who learnt a little of Portuguese and native Indians ways. This speaks volumes of our difference in civilisation. But so that you know, Ndigbo have already started civilising Yorubas before slavery started. |
engrchykae:I won't call British intrusion into Yoruba land as conquering but saving Yoruba people from wiping themselves out. When Britain arrived at Yorubaland, they were in the middle of a serious civil war they call "kiriji war', so Britain saved them instead of conquering them. It was saving not conquering |
Christistruth00:Apparently, there is two types of Abacha, one is soaked in water while the other is done in a special garnish form. So, I don't have time to argue the obvious truth that you people don't think. Cassava was introduced before slavery, in the sixteenth(16th) century Answer me this simple question. What have Yoruba people developed from cassava after 500 years plus since it was introduced to them? I will help you with the answer, Nothing |
Christistruth00:I want you to understand something. Cassava was introduced to Ndigbo and Yoruba people the same year. Now look at both of us. Ndigbo have used the cassava given to them to develop "Abacha, Garri, kokoro, akpụ for swallow etc and in the Biafran war brewed Beer from it. But you, almost 500 years since it was introduced to you yorubas you have not developed anything from it apart copying Igbo garri that till now you haven't learnt from us how to make it yellow to reduce the toxicity of it. Instead of hating, if you Yorubas calm down you would learn alot of science and Innovation from Ndigbo. |
Christistruth00:We gave you science and Innovation. Did you bother to read the thread at all? You just jumped in and started rumbling about how you helped white people to spread the chain of religion. Please go back and read the article before you embarrass yourself further. |
mancoconut:Apparently, Aro-Anglo war happened 18 years into Ekumeku and Ekumeku continued for additional 12 years after it. That is Ekumeku (1883) was already on for 18 years before Aro-Anglo war (1901) and after the Aro-Anglo war it still continued after a brief interruption for additional 13 years (1914). So if we are looking for who influenced the other, the answer will be Ekumeku because it is 18 solid years older and active before Aro-Anglo war. Mehn those our Western Igbo brothers are one hell of a stubborn group. |
bomb24:It was more than that if you include reinforcements. They continue to narrow it down so they settled for this number. But anyhow they put it, if you look at the number you will notice that Aro took out more than half of the soldiers. So they understood that they were dealing with civilised people unlike in Bini where they marched unchallenged, massacred and burnt down houses only to turn around and glorify them in bid to downplay those that stood up to them so that there won't be any repetition. Imagine if Ndigbo grew up learning these histories, knowing how courageous their ancestors were, do you think that we will tolerate nonsense from anybody? This is why Britain glorified those that made it easy for them, people like Bini and The Caliphate. You won't see Britain glorify Igbo because they don't want to motivate others to oppose them. |
peleson1:I am also from Opobo and we are Igbo. No man born of a woman can make us throw away our mother tongue for his. Even Britain didn't force people in Nigeria to throw away their mother tongue for English, so who is Ijaw to force us ụmụ Opobo to throw away our Igbo language? Ijaw's cultural genocide campaign on us starts and ends in Facebook. |
KillIgbohoN0W:Until lions tell their story, the tales of the hunt will always glorify the hunter. Now let me shock you. Do you know that the Anglo-Aro war in Igboland cost Britain more resources, time and soldiers than what they call Bini Empire? 1. Aro expedition took 5 months while Bini took 9 days. 2. Aro expedition was fought on more than 10 fronts with major battles numbering 7, while Bini was two massacres, one was deliberate while the second was as a punishment. 3. Arọ shocked Britain by digging trenches to evade bullets while Bini didn't show any invention. 4. Arọ expedition cost Britain advanced weapons and manpower numbering 1,550 soldiers of which at least 700 died while the Bini expedition cost Britain 1,200 soldiers no mortar or advanced weaponry and barely recorded any casualty. Now, answer me one question, between Aro and Bini, who is qualified to call herself an Empire? |
If one conducts thorough research, he will realise that ancient Ndigbo were moving around civilising alot of nations in Africa and Yoruba people were not left out. |
OfoIgbo:That's it. In conclusion, all articles presented by both Igbo nationalists and Ijaw scavengers confirmed that Bonny is Igbo. Even the German doctor's view that they always shout about because many people didn't bother to read the full article confirms the same. Baikie confirms as well. Crow that witnessed installations and naming of the Bonny Kings confirmed as well. Ijaw people lost woefully. No trace at all |
SlayerForever:This years own is going to be huge, now that attention has been drawn to them. People are now aware of the cultural genocide Ijaw people are carrying out there. |
Truthvalue41:I think most of you confused Ika people (not the sensible ones) have an attention problem. The thread is not about Ika so I wonder what you wish to accomplish by throwing yourselves on our faces. Like one renowned Igbo doctor said some months ago about Ika people sampling themselves and still insisting on how Bini they are, he said "We (Ndigbo) are not recruiting" Stop all these attention seeking and work on yourselves. Solve the identity crisis within you and make a choice. Any one you choose will be respected in Igboland. 1. If you choose to make yourselves Bini slaves, we will accept. 2. If you choose to be distinct ethnicity, that will be OK by us 3. If you now choose to return to the Igbo nation, then TERMS and CONDITIONS will apply If you look around, there is no Igbo asking Ika to identify as Igbo. Even Ọhaneze Ndigbo that don't take the identity as serious as they should have openly told Gen. Lucky Irabor, the Nigerian Chief of Defense staff from that your Ika when Nigeria wanted to use him to blackmail Ndigbo that they appointed one of us, that he is not considered as Igbo by them and Us |
Landmack:The real definition of a slave. An inferior being. One that owes his identity to what his master the British calls him. A living thing without honour, dignity or root. These words define you
